Everything is working out well at Newhaven Court. I can't thank A Place for Mom enough for all the help done with expediency!

This facility is very clean. Staff is very friendly. I would recommend that they have more activities, there doesn't seem to be a very good variety. Housekeeping does great. I would recommend them to friends and family.

I do think the staff are very caring and they truly do care about the residents and are doing their best. My mom is pretty difficult, but they do a good job with her behaviors. They have been great with communication to us and in family meetings they ask what we suggest to help better care for her. They keep the residents pretty active from what I have seen as well. I would absolutely recommend Magnolias of Lancaster to others looking and already have.

We had a video tour of New Haven Court. What we didn't like about it was that it was very large and had a second floor with elevators and presumably wait times for elevators at meals. It was also more expensive and very much less personal.

It was a good place overall.

Our family had an in person tour and it was fantastic and all the people we met with were fantastic. However the rooms at the time that were available were just to small for our loved ones needs.

We had a virtual tour with The Woods at Cedar Run. The facility looked very nice from what we were able to see and they did a good job with the tour. To us, it just came down to the fact that the location was not as convenient for our family to get to.

Everybody has been really great. They've been really nice and really helpful. They do well taking are of my loved one's medications and making sure she eats meals. Everything is always kept really clean. For her, the cincher was the fact that she could take her cat with her. For us, it was the fact that she's safe there.

We had a virtual tour with The Pines of Mt. Lebanon. It was a good tour but it was hard to get a feel for things since it was all done over video.

I like that the community has private rooms for the residents. The staff are friendly. They have an easy to get to the location of the community. The staff are great to work with if you have questions or concerns that the family has. The only issue is that it can be hard to speak to a doctor. There is a monthly recap sent to the family of everything the residents have been up to in the community.

Our family had an in person tour and the community is nice but difficult to get to. It is not very direct, we had to do a lot of turns and twists to get there and our loved one was just not happy with the location.

This community was very nice but it was just Memory care only. I wanted my loved one to be in a community where there was personal care also with the memory care in one community.

The staff were always very nice and helpful to my loved ones needs. They had a lot of activities with a calendar listing exercise, puzzles, cards, nails just different things to interact with the residents. They also had bible study.

We toured this community and the tour was very good. They answered all of our questions and were very informative. They were very accommodating and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

The staff team at Newhaven Court are fabulous, there was a little bit of miscommunication when our loved one moved in, but we believe it was because our loved ones health got more serious after they initially interviewed and assessed our loved one. However, the care they are showing our loved one is amazing and they have unbelievable amount of patience. The community is very well kept, no fowl odors, it is immaculate. Our loved ones room is always well kept and the bathroom is very clean. We think the meals and dining service is very good, our loved one can be a very picky eater but he is on a good food routine and it seems to be working out just well. We have been able to see what food they serve for lunch and dinner and it looks to be very delicious, we are pleased with the dining service. They have also been very thorough with checking visitors temperatures, blood oxygen levels, giving out hand sanitize and asking if they have any covid related symptoms. We are just so impressed with this community and the staff.

The community is very neat and clean and the staff is very friendly. They have activities for the residents to participate in and we are very happy with our choice. I would recommend this community to others based on our experience.

We chose Bickford because they had not had covid in quite a while and other people were not taking new residents because they had covid, and we wanted her protected so that is why we went with this facility. They took the right precautions to protect their residents. They take my phone calls whenever I call and they were good with communication. I haven't been in yet but we are having a good experience so far.

Everything is great except the cost. I like that my loved in is happy here. The people are extremely friendly to her and to me, and they're very helpful.
