Place is nice & clean. Staff are friendly. Had an issue with phones down for over a week. There was a problem with getting a medication on time but that was resolved. The food is good. All in all, its a nice place.

At first we were very upset with them. It took 12 days before my mother got her first shower.. we ask several times during those days and they said of course she has had one. They blamed her saying.... she just doesn't remember. She may be 92 but she is very aware. She does not have Alzheimer's or dementia. We explained that. Finally after serval asks...they check and agree. Then said she needed a shower chair. We ordered it the immediately. We had ask prior but was never advised she needed one. The one she had, did not fit in her the shower. Finally, that was solved Otherwise it has been pretty smooth transition

The staff is friendly and provides good care for my loved one. The lobby area is clean, bright and very nice to welcome residents, and family members. The management staff is helpful when you have questions or concerns about your loved family member living at Chestnut Ridge Wallingford.

The facility is nice. The staff has been friendly and genuinely listen to individual needs. Our mother is adjusting quite well.

They have nice Christmas and Easter gathering that 2 family members can attend that include a meal. Staff is always friend and helpful.

The cleanliness of the apartments gets a 3, but the facility itself would get a 5. I really like The Pines. It's a smaller facility so it's not overwhelming. It feels homey. And it's close to shopping and groceries and restaurants. The community fee is higher than most facilities. However they have specials wherein the fee is waived which was very nice.

My mom loves it there but really doesn't like the food. There are lots of activities for her to participate in if she wants. I just wish I could reach someone in nursing a little easier

Too many assessments and no communication when prices change. If they have unlimited funds, we would recommend Candle Light Cove to others. Everything was very nice but over my mother's budget. Didn't start out too high but didn't take long. I have no complaints except the price which kept going up and lack of communication in regards to that. It's a beautiful place and they took good care of our Mom

Everyone is professional, attentive and caring. They all want to make residents happy. Food is tough. My mom was moved to memory care sometimes she complains she is hungry and certain foods are too sweet for her taste. I think staff is trying to learn what types of foods she enjoys.

Clean facility. Very nice administrative staff, efficient medical staff (PT/OT, Doctor, NP). Evening and night GNA’s on the assistant living side need improvement with timely service, patience, time management, and customer service.

My dad receives care from hospice too, and I have come to know and appreciate their staff more than the staff of The Pines. The secretary is delightful and a newly hired aide is very friendly and attentive. However, the front desk is not covered in the evenings and on weekends, so calls go to voicemail. The facility is not secured, so anyone can just walk in from the parking lot. The head of maintenance has been very helpful. The director hasn't been as accessible as my family would like, but she's been doing the jobs of 3 administrators. The Pines has recently added a financial/billing person and someone in charge of health and wellness, so I'm hoping the director will be able to leave her office more often. The staff love my dad, and he seems content there, and that's what matters most.

Mom is in a "companion suite" . It really is NOT a suite set up for 2 residents. It is a room designed for a single occupant that has been set up for 2 occupants. The space is tight but manageable. My mother is a wheelchair user. Her roommate is ambulatory. If both occupants were wheelchair users the space would not accommodate both. Also, the bathroom sink is not user friendly for a wheelchair user. The rest of the bathroom is spacious and easy to navigate. The bedroom space is light and bright...a definite positive. And, the dining hall is light and bright with large windows and lovely views to the outdoors. Staff is very friendly and responsive. Glen Mills Senior Living is a friendly community. A few improvements could be made to the facility, but the care and attention given to residents make it worth a positive recommendation.

I think the facility overall is lovely. The majority of the facility is independent care. That section is gorgeous. They have many activities daily. However my loved one is in memory care. Not as pretty. Only common area is the dining area (except in the summer they have a wonderful secure outdoor area). I don't see many activities for this group. They seem short staffed for what they have to do. I often find my loved one sitting in her room alone. Housekeeping in her area has improved over the time we have been there. There are frequently clothes that are not hers in her closet. Communication could be better. My recommendation would depend on what the individual is looking for. My loved one is safe and that is better than her living home alone.

Your care anywhere is as good as the aids that take care of your person. Yes I believe I would recommend this community to other families, but it all depends on the aides just like the nurses in the hospital. If they are good your ok but if not good it can be very bad

I liked the staff and location, décor, and the general setup. Generally the service was better than average; the staff is friendly and attentive to my mom's needs. Activities could be a little more diverse....Would recommend for a senior who is 80% self sufficient or better. Those who need more help might be better off in a slightly smaller facility.

Lindwood is a lovely assisted living facility . There are lots of activities to keep residents engaged. Sadly, my husband was quite ill when there and had a short stay of one month. I think the best aspect of Lindwood is the genuinely caring staff working there. They were truly empathetic regarding his illness and did all they could to keep him comfortable.

I can only speak regarding the Memory Care Unit, but all of the staff in the Memory unit were wonderful with my father. We had a few issues with the billing department, but they worked with us on it.

My loved one was previously a resident at Newhaven Court at Lindwood and the overall experience was good. The facility was very clean. Nobody is perfect, but I found the staff to be friendly and generally good. The food seemed decent and the activities were pretty good.

The staff in memory care are caring, kind, willing to help, and understanding. The activities are geared toward getting the residents involved. We appreciate the fact that communication is encouraged. The move in process went without a hitch. The food is good. The room for my spouse is adequate. Overall, I would recommend The Woods at Cedar Run for memory care residents.

I would strongly recommend that a client should be familiar with what supplies are being provided and photograph items you have questions about. That is how I discovered I was being charged for items not provided. My advice is to always review each monthly invoice closely for errors or false charges.
