The staff in memory care are caring, kind, willing to help, and understanding. The activities are geared toward getting the residents involved. We appreciate the fact that communication is encouraged. The move in process went without a hitch. The food is good. The room for my spouse is adequate. Overall, I would recommend The Woods at Cedar Run for memory care residents.

I would strongly recommend that a client should be familiar with what supplies are being provided and photograph items you have questions about. That is how I discovered I was being charged for items not provided. My advice is to always review each monthly invoice closely for errors or false charges.

The facility is nice, staff are very easy to communicate with. They don't always pay attention to dietary restrictions, which can cause issues for diabetics. Housekeeping is acceptable, but they need to work on laundry. My loved one is missing all towels, underwear, and a significant amount of clothing. They tell you to write the residents name on clothing, but that washes off. Then that person just doesn't get their belongings back. Despite this, I would still recommend Exton Senior Living.

I thought they took good care of my mother. We needed a place very quickly and they were very accommodating.

Our loved one [name removed] seems well adjusted and says he likes it there. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

We toured The Woods at Cedar Run during our search for an Assisted Living facility for my loved one's. This facility was older, but well maintained. The outdoor grounds were beautiful and tranquil. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. During the tour with my parents, they provided us lunch in the café and meals for my parents to take home with them. I would recommend this facility to others as an option.

Did a remarkable job of protecting us during the Pandemic. Composed an effective strategy to deal with any appearance of COVID 19. Maintained the meal quality during the pandemic period. It seemed that every negative thing that could happen did, but the staff hung on and did well.

First and foremost all the employees I feel are extremely wonderful to the patients there but I feel that they first much as we pay they should give her more attention besides that the place is beautiful and can’t complain

Our family had an in person tour with The Woods At Cedar Run and this community was our favorite but we had heard they don't always save their residents rooms if they have to go to the hospital. That had deterred us.

The staff is very friendly and they do a great job keeping the residents clean. They have a larger TV room and larger food portions for residents with bigger appetites, ie Men.

My.mother has been at the Residence for a year now. She likes the socialization they provide daily..They have beautuful views if the bay and the 0lace is beautiful. The food they provide is excellent by a chef..The staff takes great pride in their work to provide care like you would get at a home setting.. I am glad i chose this place for my mother. I cant say enough about the caregivers. They definitely work hard. The RN tbere is excellent in.keeping me updated when i cant get there..

It took two years before I could make the difficult decision to move Mom out of the house and into care, and I spent the better part of 2022 looking for a place. I visited 20 different places, but chose Linwood for its pastoral setting, well-appointed facility, super staff, array of services, and because it was the only place where Mom could have her own room (a must for my mom). I really like the Memory Care Director and the caregivers who work directly with Mom. They are all kind, caring, patient and understanding. Initially, there were disappointing delays with getting administrative information, such as a countersigned admissions documents. A family "onboarding" folder providing a hard copy of that plus handouts providing information on the prescriptions service (plus whom to call), the medical staff and general services, such as trimming hair and nails, would be informative, useful and welcoming for new families. Overall, above all else, it's the care that really matters, and they deliver. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

Our family had an in person tour with Magnolias of Lancaster and it was quite nice. We decided against it only because i was thinking that I might need a residence for my father as well but he does not have dementia, and therefore would not be eligible for our family.

We picked this community because, it was recommended, the cleanliness ,it seemed to be a good place, and good fit for my loved one. They could improve on the food, and offer more universal dishes.

My loved one seemed to enjoy herself. The staff were very nice, and they took good care of her while I was away. The one thing they need to do is let families know there are no TVs when you're there for respite care. I had to find one at the last minute, which was very upsetting.

Colonial Courtyard at Bedford is in a more remote setting. The facility was very clean and the people were very friendly. The rooms reminded me more of a long-term care facility / were more institutional than the place we chose.

The facility is small enough that the staff has been able to get to know my loved one by name. They understand and respect his preferences. The activities director is exemplary. She has devised a variety of creative activities that appeal to different people. I have concerns that they are understaffed on the weekends. It's frustrating that we have to wait for one of the busy nurses to come downstairs to unlock the door and let us in during the daylight hours on weekends as well as during lunch on weekdays. There have been times when my loved one waited for nursing help for an unacceptably long time. There were also times he required housekeeping staff and nobody was available. These issues tend to occur at night and on weekends. Staff have made an effort to get to know me and are always friendly and helpful.

Recently, 6 days ago, my parents moved fr independent living to personal care at Chestnut Ridge. So far have had a positive experience. Clean, welcoming & good food too! My siblings & I are hoping our parents settle & Chestnut Ridge becomes their forever home.

The Woods at Cedar Run is a very nice place. The staff are so knowledgeable and friendly and they genuinely care about the residents. They all know me by name. In the dining room they keep track on whether you are there or not. If you do not show up, they will call and check on you. They have on site physical therapy. They also offer independent living, assisted living as well as memory care. The apartments are very nice. We got a room on the 3rd floor and that way when my wife needs assisted living we will not have to move again. The setting is also beautiful.

We chose The Residence at Presque Isle Bay because it is right on the bay with a beautiful view, the room was nice, and people were all very friendly when we went to visit. The food they serve is great, they are chef prepared meals. There are some downsides such as they don't have a van to take people to events, so if you do not have family members you are kind of stuck. They just changed management and the price is pretty high. Most rooms are studios and pretty small in size. Most of the staff have been absolutely wonderful, but there have been a few that are less supportive. Overall I would cautiously recommend the facility, make sure to pay attention to the cost.
