I was only at the Regent for two weeks and left. I found the Regent very depressing. Very outdated needing repairs and new appliances. There was no repairman. The food was unsatisfactory/too much salt and my ankles got swollen the first week I was there. I was the on the fourth floor and the elevator was frequently out of order. The dining staff was overworked but remained pleasant. I was told to hire someone if I needed help. It was a very poor experience overall. The only bright person was the woman who admitted me. She was delightful in every in every way. I t was because of [removed name] the I decided to go there. Everything was at the lower end of the scale. People keep leaving to come over here. Those numbers would be very telling. And I would not recommend this facility.

The lake is really nice, but they can see that. The staff were also nice, but they didn't tell me that they had started to take something like twice as much out of my bank account than I expected. Maybe more than twice. And they were probably justified in doing so, but the guy who had sold me on the place was suddenly no longer there, so there was nobody to talk to about it. I suppose other people won't have these problems. There was plenty of food, but it was not at all appetizing. I have visited at other places, and the food is much, much better there. Also, you had to be there super early for every meal. There wasn't leeway. Except for the one trip and an activity that one nice resident offered, I didn't see any activities. Walking around the lake seemed to be it.

They have a high turnover of support staff, like housekeeping, kitchen staff. I would not recommend them at the moment. Also, it took 3 weeks for them to fix the only elevator, and my mom is on the third floor and uses a walker. I appreciate your inquiries

They don't follow through. Good luck having the director call you back. Overall it's not a bad place. Just frustrating sometimes

It's a few things: Some of the staff are very good. But I have noticed some areas that look not taken care of. Ceiling tiles outside of my cousins room are misplaced and stained looking. The washers were out of service for several weeks when he moved in. He says the food is not very good at all. His billing has been confusing and he tries to pay his bill, he paid a check and then gets an over due bill for 3 months worth. These are some of the challenges we are having.

Food is mediocre at best with very little fresh vegetables and fruits maintenance very slow and parking is terrible

They reimbursed her because she had to move out in the middle of the month. They already took the full month. Reimbursed her then the next day they took it back. I had to threaten legal action to get her money back. They still didn't reimburse all of her money. It makes you wonder if someone is not looking out for these older people how many residents do they do this to. It was terrible.

The reason for that is not so much most of the people but [name removed] was so horrible, the place I'm at now have about 21 people that came from Crescent Heights have also said the same thing don't get me wrong most of the people were friendly and helpful One of the perks was supposed to be housekeeping once a week. Anyone looking for a place should check out how their meals are scheduled and when they can wash their clothes they only have one maintenance man and he's very hard to get hold of

What they could improve on would be An accurate portrayal of resident expectations, mobility, health, etc. With those areas of improvements we would possibly recommend this community to other families.

For one the food is terrible. They can't keep people in the kitchen. ALWAYS running out of food. My sister is lactose intolerant but they mostly serve Ice cream. She asks them all the time if they can serve something other than that. The facility its self always looks clean. The rooms are not cleaned on a regular basis. They just recently renovated instead of paying the help more. They might be able to keep help if they paid more. They used to have a man that drove the bus and he was able to take residence to appointments and outings 6 days a week. He quit now they have a guy that only works 2 days a week. All of those residents aren't able to get appointments on those 2 days. Sometimes the maintenance man has to take people to appointments and grocery shopping.

I believe the ratings I gave pretty much says how I felt about the place. The manager was certainly not a nice person and didn't seem to have the care for the residents that she should have had.

The staff, if you can find them are not very friendly. Anything would be an improvement on the food... they would put this menu out for the next day and not have what was on the menu. I would not recommend Echo Ridge, it is not a good value for the money.

My ex decided that he could no longer live alone in his house so my daughter and I visited the woods at canco and thought it would be perfect for him and recommended it to him. He picked out an apartment and moved in [date removed] and has been clear that he is miserable there. We didn’t realize that he had been living as a hermit in New Hampshire except for working and going to casinos regularly with limited personal interaction. A survey for expectations of desirable on-site amenities may have helped my -ex., [name removed], find the right elder living facility or independent living place.

Have had issues with the shower. Took them 5 months to fix it. They got a new maintenance man and he fixed it. I am now waiting for them to put a shield to stop the water from running onto the floor. Waiting for a key to the back door but that has not happened. We were told that they were going to change all the locks on those doors and give us keys. I use the back door because it is close to where I park my car. Maintenance is slow. They only have one man for the facility. 4 months is really unacceptable.

So disgusted with a resident who enjoys spreading false statements abt. me as this happened again this afternoon & if I approach her, I'll be told [profanity removed]! We AREN'T in junior high!!! Also so tired of getting sick from the food!!! Not that simple for me to move, been here since [date removed] this yr. & so depressed!!! My mental health is declining!!!

Experience - food is a big issue Cleanliness - residents are a little sloppy Friendliness - staff is willing to listen to issues but follow thru is lax. Meals - poor quality, cold, under cooked, runs out of food options on menu Activities are minimal. There is nothing outside, no bus, no travels. Value - questionable

Willow grove was sold to me as an assisted living. No way in hell is it! They tried collecting money after my aunt was moved out . We fought about it and until I threatened a law suit for false advertising, they weren't backing down. Once I mentioned getting an attorney, they backed off AND changed their website from Assisted Living to Independent Living.

My husband and I lived at Canco for exactly 1 year. The current director started there just before we came and when we were there was working very hard to get things turned around. There was a major renovation of the common areas and the results were lovely. The problems we experienced were mainly due to 2 issues, the first being the person in charge of leasing told us many things that never materialized including there are no BBQs, picnics, birthday parties, gardening club, cooking club, craft sales, etc., and very little in the way of outings. The garage we paid the fee for the first month was never cleaned out. The black mold all over the siding on our patio and the entrance to our apartment was supposed to be powerwashed off the day after we signed the lease and never was. The second big issue is there is not enough staff so everyone has to do multiple tasks and it stretches everyone too thin which in turn affects residents.

My mom hated it there. It was way more money than it was worth! She has moved to another community for less than half the cost and now has her own kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and it's for seniors who are 55+. Several other residents have also moved to this other community.

Staff were all company people. They need to care more about the residents. I do not recommend Maple Suites!
