Very out of date. Management well seems lost...seems like there is no system there. and everyone seems irritated or just grumpy. What is going on?? Not going to put my grandpa there. Disappointing, itis very nice outside though, nice views.

This facility seems like a warehouse. The man who was giving me the tour made me feel like I was interrupting him. The facility is gray, the colors are cold, and the people seemed cold. They said they offered activities but I didn’t see any residents involved in anything at all. The facility seemed empty. In fact, I didn’t see any residents or any other employees. This place just felt very strange. I would not recommend this community.

I recently had an elderly friend of mine move into the Westmont holiday in Santa Clara. I hoped this would be the perfect environment for her as she does not cook and has trouble walking. What she has discovered in the 2 1/2 months she has lived there is, the food is terrible . Most of it taste like it’s canned. She has her food delivered to her room three times a day and half the time they forget her order, and it is delivered cold every time. The general manager is in charge of the kitchen and even though I’ve spoken to him several times on behalf of my friend no changes have been made to better the food or the service. I would not recommend this place to anyone with this lousy service . Make sure you do your research before moving here.

was not happy with Forsyth Court. [Removed] did not seem to know his job very well. The tour did not meet our expectations. But the facility would not be a fit for us with the long halls that curve around. Easy to get lost.

This facility is for independent living and so there are no care services. Meals are provided and the food is generally good but sometimes in limited amount. Housekeeping is provided and the facility is generally clean. The sales pitch doesn't match the reality. Make sure any commitments the facility makes are put in writing. There are rules they don't tell you about during your visits. As more than one resident has said to me, "We eat, sleep, and watch TV. That's it." So even though an activity may be listed in their program it doesn't actually happen because no one shows up. The staff is friendly one-on-one but announcements are often made in a demeaning way. Generally not worth the cost.

We toured this community for the care for my mom. The staff were nice and answer the questions that we had. The community was not what we wanted due to it did some help with being clean. The environment was not what I wanted for my mom. Families might want to tour this community on their own.

Sorry to say that the Kingsdale Chateau has really gone downhill over the past year. My parents have lived there for over three years but are now thinking of moving out. Housekeeping standards are poor - their bathroom is not thoroughly cleaned on a regular basis, very little vacuuming done in their apartment. The cooking staff seems to be changing all the time. I went for a sunday dinner, which was supposed to be a roast beef dinner. I was shocked to receive a plate of mashed potatoes, two pieces of carrots and chipped beef with gravy - not a slice of beef and definitely not "roast beef." The meat was chopped up and covered in a tasteless gravy. It looked like the food I feed my cat. This organization needs to pay more attention to the dining room and housekeeping standards instead of changing the furniture and pictures. Think twice before signing your contract to live here.

My mother has lived there for four years and the place is in a downhill slide. If the food doesn't improve, someone may [Removed] of malnutrition. The staff should have revolving doors on their offices. The turnover is constant.

I liked this community when I first moved in. There were some changes a few months after I moved in. There were managers on site when I first moved in. Shortly after two of them were let go and then they moved the others. They now have call buttons you wear if you need assistance. They started to run out of food and the quality of food declined. It took an hour or more to get your food. I did not like these changes as I did not feel they were for the better.

Please don't put anyone you Love here. We were looking for a Senior Living facility for my mother in law. We placed her at WG BECAUSE they had 24 hour staff. They KNEW that they were weeks away from eliminating half there staff and going to an alert system based in Utah but did not disclose that information until a full month after we moved her in. Now she's locked in 12 hours a day with No Staff at all. She had a local alert that was better in her own home. She was Safer in her home than she is now. What staff is still there Lie to you and are manipulative. Our concerns were met with rudeness and derision.

original rental rate increases dramatically, rate after 3 years has increased over $450 while inflation has remained flat. Very difficult to prepare for when on fixed income. Nice facility but very pricy

This facility was not a good fit for my Mom. During our visit, we truly did not see many residents. The residents we did see were wheelchair bound, and not very communicative, nor were they socializing with each other. This did not to be a very active community.

The place is nice but the sales agent, [Removed] is pushy and manipulative. The community fee discount could've been shared with the family earlier but the agent chose to offer the $4000 discount with a 2 day deadline for signing. From start to finish it felt like the sale was really all that mattered.

We are not happy with the community. It is clean, but the inside needs alot of improvements and the food needs improvemnts as well. The water has a bad odor and taste. Not a friendly environment . I would not recommend this to others. No activities are offered for socialization. Alot of improvements need to be made.

My tour of this community did not go well. This is not a very appealing community. From what I saw the residents were left alone in their apartments. I did not want that type of environment for my mother in law. I would not feel comfortable moving my mother in law moving here.

Too much like a nursing home...not at all interested

Great rooms, nice staff, clean, but TERRIBLE food. Really atrocious. Starch starch and more starch with not nearly enough vegetables. A dietician would be very unhappy to see the menu here. Meals are often burned or improperly cooked, and small steps that would greatly improve quality are ignored (for example, they do not ripen fruit before serving it, a real problem for seniors who can't eat hard things like unripe melon). This place would get five stars if they had a proper kitchen, but it really is appalling how low the food quality is given the cost of living here. I will update this if, God willing, the quality of the food improves.

Would not want to live here. Did not find building or grounds attractive. Staff did not appear interested in providing a tour. Only attractive feature was that apartments were well lighted and appeared airy.

I will have to say the management onsite it tops, however the food, food choices, food service, menu and processed high salt foods are terrible. They can not keep a chef and the interim ones are not use to cooking for older adults and they add too much salt. Unfortunately, if this was a manager issue they would solve it, but it is a corporate issues with the COO overseeing food coming from a fast food industry liek KFC so they are feeding seniors with health issues high salt, high sugar and processed foods. Never is the inventory there so the menu says one thing and they get something else. This must be fixed. Otherwise very happy with living area, cleanliness but this is a real issue. I called corporate could not get pass resident help which never returns calls.
