Lots of promises prior to moving in. Promises were not upheld. Staffing changes occurred shortly after moving in, which caused a discount. New staff were not as friendly or warm and of course had no stake in the promises made. I feel pressured with the new rules and therefore am stressed. I wish I had rented elsewhere. The intro meal was delicious. Too much pork and shellfish now. Menu has decreased in variety and likeability. Some of the people who wait tables need to smile more and give a presence of friendliness instead of stern and curt.

My loved one was set to receive rehab here, but we could not continue, simply because she would have had to supply her own furniture. Otherwise, it was a fairly nice facility.

This community is in desperate need of a complete makeover everything from the furnishings to the paint needs to be updated. The staff overall seemed to be friendly however the sales department could work on their communication skills between themselves. We found the price to be extremely high for the appearance of the community and the entrance fee is much higher than any other community we spoke to. The 2 bedroom units are oddly shaped to it made it difficult to envision how to furnish the unit. There was only 1 sitting for breakfast which was early like around 8:00 am and one sitting for dinner. So if you weren't around at those specific times you didn't get a meal. They allow smoking anywhere on this property I would have liked to see at least a designated area for smokers

This place was very I found this building I found this building very beautiful and the staff very friendly but this is not for me though.

We have lived here for a few months now, and were pretty impressed on our tour, but, after being here for a while we find that the food especially has degraded to being almost inedible if you have good taste buds. The serving staff, though working hard, is overworked and it sometimes takes more then 1 hour to get through an insipid meal. On occasions they run out of the main or secondary choices on the menu, supper is a 1/2 cup of soup and a sandwich and often a piece of dry cake. We are given a weekly menu but it is invariable changed. There is chicken or pork in very small servings and a lot of frozen meat items that are overcooked, frozen mixed vegetables and fresh that are so overcooked they are mush, sausages and bacon once a week that are baked so hard some cannot cut or eat them, eggs served up cold or uncooked (especially on weekends), and very seldom beef that is mostly unrecognizable, except when it is roast beef which is very seldomly served. Vegetables such as red cabbage and green beans are served so often it is becoming a joke. So the food is not good. The accomodations are quite nice, aircconditioned and small animals are allowed, so these are on the positive side. I do not feel we get what we are paying for and so we will be looking for better accomodations in the very near future, in the hope that all independent living senior homes are not the same.

Facility is a little older but the residents seemed to really enjoy it. All residents were friendly. Funny my husband and I like the facilities that are up to date but I would bet my dad would like this place the best. Very reasonable cost.

Not set up to handle changing health needs; splendid trees and plants; nice to be met by a dog; chicken hard-coated and difficult to eat;

I was only at this community for a short period of time but while I was there I have no complaints of how things went. The staff were friendly and made sure to accommodate my needs as best as they could. The meals where just fine and they had a lot of variety to choose from. I just ended up moving out because it was a little to big of a facility for my liking.

My loved one's stay is going fairly well! The facility is nice and the staff is very friendly and they are sure to provide appropriate care for my loved one. Our primary concern was the fact that the meals are not very good, and the way that they run the dining room during meal times is rather odd. Overall, this is a fine facility.

The wonderful marketing director we spoke to before we moved mom in was gone after the first month. The executive director was not at the community when we moved mom in, however things have been declining since he has gotten back. They offered good nutritional food until things changed and that chef is no longer at the community. the staff have been nice to mom while she has been there. I am concerned things will not improve as long as the executive director stays in charge.

The place seemed a little dark and the carpets need to be replaced. The gentleman who gave us the tour did not show us all of the premises even after asking him about the private dining area. I had to see the hot tub area on my own. The grounds looked OK there were some bare spots in the grass. The apartments seemed a little small and nurses and other services had to be outsourced and paid by customer. They did do housekeeping and laundry as long as it was there towels (at an extra cost to use).

My mother was at Hidden lakes for a while, and it was not the best fit for her. They were more expensive than other places. It was a bigger location and there was a major intersection next to it, but there was nothing they could do about that.

This community is clean and they do offer a lot of daily activities. The food is fine and I have no complaints about it. I did have to speak to housekeeping about doing a better job cleaning mom's apartment and they were responsive. This community is working out for mom.

I am familiar with this community and from I observed they are for a more independent person. It is not suitable for our needs. It does have entertainment with 3 meals a day if that is what is needed for others.

Things are going okay. They have a enough people on hand but in the beginning they lacked constancy with the people on staff. They would have a different person everyday and that is difficult for someone like my mother who has dementia. They also don't offer rental statements. The meals they provide are adequate for a senior but they don't accommodate to dietary restrictions such as no dairy, etc. We chose this community because I had the option to stay with my mother. It helps her when I get off work and i'm there during the night. They also offer hotel-like service.The housekeepers will come in your room and change your linens and switch out toiletries.

I had a pretty good tour of this community. From what I saw everything looked nice, and clean. There were some things that concerned me. One thing was that they don't hire their own employees. They go through a third party agency. The hallways are very long, and I felt like that could be ruff on a senior. I just did't get the feeling that this was the community for us.

I was not too crazy about this place after I had toured the community. I did not feel that it was kept up well enough. There was an odor in the place that smelled a little bit. It was dark environment and I fell they can improve on an overall better maintenance. The girl who gave me the tour was wonderful at showing me the place.

I was wanting to move to a smaller room and they said I would need to pay a community fee and a full month's rent before I could move. A couple of the staff members will get rude with me and the other residents. The rest of the staff seem good. I have let the corporate office know of this. The food is good depending on who is making it. They try to keep the community clean.

Uffleman needs a serious update. [Removed] looked as if she had no time to get ready for a tour. Perhaps what I'm looking for it's not available, or my expectations exceeded the reality.

When I first walked in the door, the place was nice and bright but once I started to walk into the hallways, it was very dark. The rooms that the tour guide took me into were not appealing at all. They were dark with minimal decorations. The place needed updating, all of the carpets looked very old. I also did not see any residents lingering around, I would have liked to see more activity.
