The staff when my mom first moved in were fantastic. When the site was sold to a large company everything changed. Most all of the staff left leaving a staffing shortage. The new administration wanted to start charging for things that were not in her lease and the thoughtfulness to the residents dropped. Mom moved out and into a much better place. Would not recommend this place.

The place is clean. The staff seems really friendly. My mom doesn't need care per say I can't comment on that, but they do come in and clean her place one a week. My mom isn't too impressed with the manager of the building but seems to like the staff. The food has gotten better with the new cook. However, my mom doesn't like that she can't pick up her meal and bring back to her room, if she picks it up, they have started to charge $[removed] for HER to pick up her meals. When she does show up to the dining room for her meals. They take forever for her to get her meal. My mom doesn't really participate in the activities because everyone has their friends and don't seem to want to include anyone new. I personally believe she pays way too much for her studio and for what they provide

Ste Anne’s is a nice place overall - rooms are nice, staff are friendly, and it’s a good location. But right before my mother moved in a large % of the staff left for various reasons (retirement, moving away, returning to school are some of the reasons we were told). The result was a lack of cooking, cleaning, and entertainment staff, which meant services provided were lacking. The food was not good for the first month; I think it has slowly gotten better as new staff have been hired. But the biggest issue my mother has run into is with the time it takes for the meals … each meal takes about 1.5 - 2 hours to complete, which is way too long … a lot of times she doesn’t get asked for her order until 20 mins or more after service starts. It’s an issue that is being complained about by most of the residents she’s talked to. We did meet with management to voice our concerns and they are working on improvements.

So disgusted with NOT being able to enjoy some of the Holiday candy, treats due to a medical condition that is KNOWN to those in MNG. + the Enrichment Director knows also. There's tons of other candy out there that could be purchased & I'm just being ignored b/c they totally don't care & the fact is there are other residents who can't have chocolate however they aren't vocal like me!!! I understand this is Totally Independent Livin, not Assisted, nor a Nursing Home, so they don't have to adhere to my dietary restrictions however it would be nice to enjoy some of these perks! I spend over $[removed]a mo. on groceries as is due to the kind of food we have here as many other residents do also!! Certainly not what I was led to believe when I came for a tour last Apr. Just so sad!!!!

The people are super friendly. The ambassadors do a great job helping new tenants get acclimated. I think the food is very institutional tasting. When my mother moved in there were things that didn't work like the exhausted fan and the show. Reported it and been 3 days and still not fixed. One more thing. Since the room was vacant before my mother moved in. And they had a month before she did move in I would have thought everything would work but that's not true. Light bulbs burnt out, bath exhaust fan doesn't work and the shower has plumbing issues.

I would recommend the service (a place for mom). I would not recommend the facility that my grandmother is in. They have not upheld their end of the contract and have consistent facility and staff issues that have to be remedied by going up through the chain of command outside of the building or by residents moving out. We picked them because of the affordability, activities and accommodations, and location to medical services

The facility is in need of upgrades. They recently did cosmetic upgrades, such as painting and replacing carpeting, but the apartments have outdated appliances. They are unable to maintain kitchen staff, so the meal service can be very slow. Maintenance is slow to respond, and sometimes when they do, it is just to apply a band aid that will need to be fixed later on. Rent is increased every year, but the services remain subpar. My mother was relatively happy there until about 6 months before I moved her in with me.

I like the price. They need to improve the food. We might move him if they don't

Grizzly peak seems to keep their prices just below other companies. But they have a hard time keeping employees, bus drivers, kitchen staff. Their meals are not healthy or fresh, so that's disappointing. Overall they could do some major improvements on the quality

She likes the apartment a lot and the new cleaners are fantastic. The food has been an issue. Not very tasty. Bad quality. Also the director of the activities has not been there and there is always problems with transportation. Food. Better variety higher quality. Some local. That is what my mom complains about. The other is the activities. She does say the cleanliness is amazing and the staff who supports maintenance is outstanding.

It was close to my house. I didn't give them high marks, just average on just about everything. But generally, we like it.

Overall has been ok it was great when I first moved in. Policies have changed. It has been cleaned some, they are working on them. Staff is very friendly. Food was terrible never hot meals we have been through five chefs till now we finally have a chef and he's doing great. Activities suck we have had 4 activities directors this last is trying to do Bett corporate dictates our activities we do which no one likes for example fundamentals of swimming. If we had a pool thus would be good, but don't. We can't decorate our doors except one wreath outside our apartments or on tables feels like a hotel or institution more than a home. Its run by a corporation. We have a lot of residents mostly in their late 80s and nineties. And the activities they have fun interactive its only what atria says.

There are 1/2 people here that are memory care and Alzheimer's patients without ANY SUPERVISION!!!!! It's scary! But because of price they are going to keep coming and those of us that have a brain are going to want to leave to a truly independent living environment. They keep running out of food and cutting portion. They're cutting out stuff that costs money and leaving pts to entertain themselves really not good for Alzheimer patients and cost is only reason why we have to stay.

It is a nice community and I would recommend. We picked this community because of the proximity to his past home

Our mom has been at Crescent Heights for nearly 2 months. She loves her apartment. She now recognizes that this is a safer place than a split level, with step over tub in a rural area with no family. The staff is very nice. We wish she would be more active. Uncertain if there are a lack of activities or she is not engaging. Her biggest complaint is the food...especially the dinner. Often run out/make changes. Frequently comments inedible.

For the rent it’s been a good experience. The food is good. The dining room is very noisy at times. The accoustics are bad and they are not doing anything about it. The live music every Saturday is often not professional and usually is music of 30’s, 40’s, 50’s and to me very boring. I like all kinds of music up to the present.

You need to be a good advocate for your loved one, the manager can be a bit difficult at times and makes excuses for the lack of follow up on concerns and requests

What I like the most about Holiday Montara Meadows is the shuttle experience, how they have 3 meals especially breakfast and the maintenance crew. Any category that is not rated a 5 can be improved.

I enjoyed the staff, friends and other renters, the games played, the remodeled apartment, walks outside around the beautiful complex, the manager helped the renters

Overtime things have declined in all aspects. Staffing positions, activities, kitchen staff and quality of meals. Used to be a beautiful fun place. Overpriced for what we got.
