Mangmt friendly, residents seemed happy, food was very good Did not have a pool, facility old

Good tour. Clean, good amenities, nice grounds, residents seem happy. room is small but doable. Really like it. Bus service to Church, Dr's, bank, shopping is free.

I was impresed with cleanliness and good food. Rooms provided ease of use and were sufficient.

Saw it on a sunny day and the place just sparkled. However, it is a large facility, three floors, 112 units (107 residents currently). Dining room is large and feel somewhat institutional. Hallways wide and well lit, do not have long dark institutional feel. Rooms are great .. spacious and well maintained, some have little patios (but you lose 6 sq feet of LR space). Sheldon Oaks is not licensed for AL, therefore if you need daily help you would need to hire one of the agencies in town to come in and help. They are currently negotiating w/ one agency to actually have someone live on site who could provide help bathing, dressing, w/ meds. Once someone has a "medical event" that causes them to need nursing care, they must leave to another facility .. usually the doctor is the one who makes that determination. Small grassy area with cute gazebo. Can walk in nearby (flat) neighborhood. Activity room was pretty shabby, but the third floor library has lots of windows, bring and sunny. Books rotated with other communities. Can walk from grounds directly to Safeway and Rite aid (and Market of choice) without going on busy street. Rent includes 3 meals a day, snacks, special event food, all utilities except phone and internet to your room, linen service, weekly housekeeping. Does NOT include personal laundry, but there are laundry rooms in each wing. Studios have small or full size refrigerators, sink, you can bring microwave, toaster, coffee maker no hot plates. All staff background checked. Mail and newspapers delivered to your door. 24 staff, no RNs because is not AL licensed. It is 55+ housing. Month to month rent, 30 days notice. Special if you move in in October, $99 security deposit instead of usual one month's rent, although since it is a refundable deposit, it's the just the time value of money. They will pay for a mover t obreing your stuff to the facilitiy the first time you move in. Transportation van to doctor, dentist, hopping. Outings to hult center, detering oarchards, once a month to florence, some go to casino, others have lunch and walk in old town. Tiny and dark "gym" which has trendmill, bike & a couple other things, plus a TV. TV big screen viewing area, very popular during Ducks games. OPTIONS for meals, not just single choice. Wait staff at tables.

I like this one 3 meals daily, on site manager, emergency cord ect...

Tour guide was great! I enjoyed the tour and the facility. This was our #1. He showed me several apts, provided me with a lot of information on VA benefits and the Independent Living lifestyle. They were willing to go the extra mile to create wheelchair access throughout any apt (shower, remove cabinets underneath sinks, extra bars, etc.).

Beautiful facility. Friendly staff. Nice daily opportunities. But perhaps not enough support for mom at this age.

really large rooms lovely hire a helper. no assisted living. suggests dr perscription for mobile chair. 8am bkfst, 1230 large meal, 530 supper.

Fabulous. Very clean. Lovely decor. Good nutrious food. Residents friendly, active and appear happy. Wonderful setting with plenty of opportunity for walking and being outdoors, secluded enough for a safe, serene feeling. Balconies off most rooms. Staff very friendly and efficient. Warm family-like atmosphere.

Had a good tour. I had two follow-up contacts from staff. Aunt not ready to move yet.

2nd nicest rooms. OK campus. Will not rule out.

Bridge Park is on the short list for my Mom and Stepdad. We really like the facility and what it has to offer. Our only reservation is that there are no financial options if they have to go on Medicaid in the future and would then need to move.

The people were super friendly. They had rooms with carpet, and allowed pets. it just seemed a little dreary.

I think you get what you pay for. The cost is low, but there is room for improvement. There is an adjustment period for older adults moving into a community like this. I think the staff tries to help people, but I don't think they have a professional enough staff to know what to do to orient new people. The apartment is very nice though.

Felt tour went well just wasn't a fit for a few reasons for our loved one.

The Warburton Place is very well maintained we have no problems with the cleanliness of the community at all. The dining service itself is really good but the meals could be a little better. It isn't so much the quality but the actually flavor and preparation part could be improved. They just need to be a little bit tastier and appetizing. There are little improvements here and there they could make but all in all we would recommend this community to other families. We do like how even with it being independent living you can hire their outside service if your loved one needs additional assistance

This was a good tour and they gave me enough information to be able to tell me what all they could do for my loved one. This community just did not seem like the right environment for my loved one.

My virtual tour at Rock Creek was very pleasant. The things that kept me from going there were primarily lack of a full kitchen and lack of a washer/dryer in the units.
