White Oaks seemed old and needed a lot of updating. We did not even bring my dad here to tour because we knew he would not like how it looked.

For the most part, it's been okay. I had an issue with them because the staff members don't always give you the same answers, especially related to move-in procedures and costs. So that left me feeling like they tell you anything to get you to move in, but those things might not be the case once you do move. in. They did work with me to resolve the issue. It's a pretty nice place and a really good atmosphere, not completely depressing like other places I've seen. And I appreciate that.

We had to wait a while for our tour to start. The facility and the staff members were all very nice, but the apartments here were too small for our liking. It was just not going to be the right fit for us.

It is a good community except for the food. The food is still being delivered to the resident's rooms. The quantities are small. It take a while for the community to respond to maintenance items. The staff seems to be friendly. The caregivers are great and ale to assist our loved one.

I would say check out numerous places, looking at the cost, administration, and probably also how many residents have left over the past year or two. Maybe try to talk to the residents before signing up. My loved one is currently wanting to look at other places And several other people are moving out right now, or have moved out over the past year. The working staff that provides the cleaning and service in terms of food, etc., are very friendly. The administration is horrible. The director is just nasty. They have lost a lot of the staff, who complain about the administration, and they are very short-staffed right now. The food has been pretty good here. The portion sizes are good, and my loved ones are pleased with it for the most part. What I've tried, apart from their hamburgers, has been good. There haven't been many activities. For a while, that seemed Covid-related, but there's more to it than that. They don't update things. Their activities director left, and they hired somebody new. The new person did send out a form for the residents to fill out to see what their interests are, so it may be improving.

The community over promised and under delivered. This might be because of COVID. It's mostly good and the independent side is very good. The residents have a lot of independence. I feel a lot of things they sold us on isn't there.

We are not very happy with this community right now. We have had some billing issues as they charged us when our loved ones were already moved out . While they were living here it was fine, but they were not big fans of the food. The location of the facility is great it is in the heart of the city and close to everything, but with the competition out here now, I think they need to redecorate, it is very outdated.

In the beginning Bluebird Estates would have been a five out of five, but COVID has had its impact on it. Before COVID the activities were a five out of five, it was one of the reasons who chose this community. Besides the in house activities, they would bring in entertainers and take the residents to off sight activities and events. According to our loved one the food quality has gone downhill quite a bit, but recently they had a meeting with the management and chef to discuss what they didn't, and are slowly making improvements.

This is an all-inclusive retirement community, I would recommend this community. They do a good job. Hidden Lakes had exercise classes, bingo, card games, movie night, bag toss, and more activities for residents to choose from. They even had outside entertainers come in on special holidays. This was all prior to COVID.

The carpet on my floor, has stains on the floor that have been there for well over a year. The floor on the third floor is like a pertri dish. The food is poor. I stopped the house cleaning and started doing my own. I feel the staff they hired to do this occupation were not good They have a lot of activities available for the community. The front desk area needs to know they are in customer service.

Clean and friendly. Many of the meals are cold ( tuna, sandwiches, etc) and not very appetizing. Other than that, my father is very satisfied living there.

I think it's wonderful - you have to be tolerant to the idea of living with other people. Love my apartment. I think I've gotten the best apartment. Love the surrounding area. The woods and nature. Our initial tour was lovely, the ambiance captured me and I knew this was the place I wanted to be. Food is excellent.

Village Gate helped kept us very safe and comfortable. Were very strict about following rules. The only complaint is food was very poor and very seldom throughout the day!

I do not want to come across as being harsh with this facility because they are an independent living facility, so I do not think they are expected to do these things. We did not have many options when looking at facilities. The food is not what I think it should be, my mother said it was not good. They did not provide any amenities, so if you are staying here you need to bring your own things like towels, pillows, etc. Accommodations were not what I expected. The staff didn't offer to help anyway. They are not what independent living should be. My mother does like the bingo here. They do have care that you can get for your parents, you just have to ask for it. It is very affordable and a really good option, but it does not provide any companionship.

The staff at Redbud Hills, below General Manager, has been excellent thru the pandemic challenges. They have maintained good humor and kept the residents engaged and informed. The General Manager on the other hand decided to take the pandemic period off, which was probably best in retrospect. The staff who did show up went above and beyond to keep the community running efficiently.

Mom's studio apartment is very expensive, during this time when No one is cleaning her room, everyone should really get a discount on rent.

The staff at Andover were very kind throughout Mom’s years living there. In her final month they went out of their way to make sure she had everything she needed and treated me much kindness and support.

Thank you to all the employees who work there at Cedar Ridge in taking care of my Mom. I'm always greeted friendly and everyone shows concern for my Mom as well.

Mum has been there for a number of years and the staff all know her and help watch out for her. I know she is safe and appreciated there.

The staff has done an exceptional job at keeping us safe. The food however has slipped very much. The last "chef" [name removed] was not either hiring competent people or was shooting for a bonus by keeping the food bought the lowest grade. Breakfast under [name removed] was the best meal of the day. Most people have had to supplement food from outside sources and family. For example a chef salad might have lettuce, a few cubes of cheese, a sprinkle of egg. No meat,veggies, roll, dressing. Egg salad sandwich twice a week. I have egg allergies. [names removed] have been exceptionally competent and loving in this stressed time. They are truly treasures and valued employees who are deserving of a bonus.
