My dad is currently living at Hartland Hills and while we are looking for a place with more hands on care this community is a good place if you are looking for independent living. They offer transportation a few times a week and the staff are very friendly. The food is good and the building is well maintained. You are able to have a home care service come in to assist your loved one if needed.

I really like it at this community and I have adjusted very well to it. They are very kind and helpful. They keep everything very clean and nice. The staff is very helpful, they really care about me. I'am trying some new activities. The meals are nice, I enjoy the dining area. Overall everything is going well. I would recommend it.

The staff at Essex House is wonderful. My parents love living there. Since moving in they have attended a concert as well as they play bingo twice a week. I have not yet had the pleasure of trying the food but I am told by them that it is great. The community is kept very clean inside and out. My parents and I would recommend this community hands down.

Hidden Lakes is now my brother's new home and he seems to be pretty happy there. We ran into a few bumps in the road in the beginning. We were showed a few different studio apartments and when choosing one we were then told it was not offered for the same price we were quoted. He is settled in now and getting into the swing of things. The staff have made it easier because they are all very nice and friendly. I'm sure things will be just fine!

My husband really enjoys this community, we have adjusted very well. They keep the community nice and clean. The staff is wonderful, they have been very helpful and kind. There is always something to do, they offer many activities. The food is nice, we really enjoy the meals. This community allows you to be independent, but still have access to help if you need it. They have been very helpful. I would recommend this community.

The Director Joy and the staff bend over backwards to help your parent adjust to the environment. My dad came from the hospital after having a heart attack. He needed lots of care so came with all sorts of health attendants that needed to be organized. Richard the live in manager was great with coming to the hospital so dad could sign the papers and talking to us about how to help him fit in. He is adjusting to having his biggest meal of the day at noon and having to respect others differences in not wearing his hat to the dining room but those are small prices to pay. We are looking forward to a day soon when he can have his dog Pogo join him. The View set dad up in a temporary room until his studio apartment comes available in a few weeks on the ground floor. So if you are looking for a place that will work with you and your parents then the View is it in Lethbridge. The residences seem a bit traditional and it will take time for my dad to find his place there. He is venturing out now in his second week and enjoyed the free bus ride to Costco to purchase some personal items.

When we toured the facility, we had the impression that all studios, one bed room, ect. were one price. When it came lease signing time we learned that there are various sizes and fees for within each category of apartment. Thats no big deal it just would have nice to know that the apartment which we viewed cost a different amount than we'd been told.

The staff was friendly, helpful and informative. The overall facility and rooms seemed clean. The food was more than acceptable in taste and portion size. The serving staff at lunch was extremely pleasant. I would certainly not hesitate to consider Walnut Woods as a place for my father. At this it is not our first choice due to location and we have found a similarly priced place with more amenities with a more convient for our family.

As much as the quality of the food is touted at the White Oaks website, having dined with my mother who lives there, I can say the food is just "okay", I wouldn't describe it as anything else. The portions are small, and it looks appetizing, and I'm sure it's nutritious, but the flavor and texture leaves a lot to be desired. The times I've eaten there I didn't even finish the meal. Somebody who works there with authority, should really look into the quality of the food. The staff is friendly and were very accommodating. Especially during the process of moving in. Because it's an "independent living" and not "assisted living" community, any care your loved one might needs has to come from a third party. Luckily, in Manchester there are several companies to choose from. There are plenty of activities and transportation is available. All in all I think it's going to be a good move for my mom.

Overall I'm very pleased with how things have turned out at Qual Run Estates, it is a very nice place! The facility is clean and well kept, and everyone seems very friendly. I would recommend them!

Overall I am happy with the Springs and would recommend it.

Very nice place and green belt space

So far they have been great. It's clean and the staff is friendly. There are a few maintenance issues that seem to be taking a while to get approved and completed, but other than that we are pretty happy with them.

My Mom and I visited here in January. Mom didn't have any intention of moving to a "retirement" center. She was so impressed after our great tour with Scott. We had a great lunch with one of their ambassadors. Saw everything we could imagine and she moved in a month later. She has been there almost 6 weeks and has adapted better than any of us could expect. She is happy, making friends, and more active than she has been for years. Exactly what my sister and I were hoping for. We both live far away and were very concerned about her health, safety, and welfare. Now we know she has someone warching out for her. It has taken a load off our shoulders. We feel this place is very clean and was reasonably priced. We went to 5 other places during my visit in January. All were nice, but Vista de la Montana fit all of our Mom's needs. We are thankful for the help from 'A PLACE FOR MOM"

This is a lovely community and I am really enjoying my time here. It is beautiful and looks amazing. They come in once a week to clean for me. My only issue has been the food, but they are working to fix that. Everyone here is great, they are very friendly and kind. They have activities like bingo and sing a long and game nights. I am happy with this community and would recommend it to anyone.

I have only been here ten days and have spent most of my time unpacking. Have not had the time or opportunity to investigate to any degree all of the benefits of Peninsula, Gig Harbor. Plan on being here a good while so I am not in any real hurry. What I have observed I have rated above.

We toured and it was nice. This was where she was going to move, but she ended up changing her mind, and didn't move at all. This was our choice though after looking around and touring them.

I have already recommended Greenwood Terrace to a neighbor. I participate in some of the activities, they do offer quite a few. The food is wonderful.

The Court at Rushdale is lovely and clean. The staff are so friendly. It's a great place for Mom and Dad. There's a lot there for them to do, activities, bingo, cards. It's a nice environment. Mom really likes the food. The biggest meal is at lunch. I'm happy we made the decision to move her here, she is still able to have some independence, but she's also looked after.

We first met with Ken of Arbor Lake retirement with a little anxiety as this was our first tour of seniors living communities. He quickly put my wife and I at ease. From that initial meeting to mom's move in and beyond, we found the whole experience very pleasant. The staff were very welcoming, the facility lovely. Mom adapted quickly and has made several friends with whom she eats with, and enjoys activities with both in and out of the facility. The menu so far superior to any other place we toured. I would definitely recommend Arbor Lake to people looking for a retirement community.
