My daughter and I toured Anchor Point. and had lunch. We were both impressed by the facility , staff, activities etc. We liked that the chef came and spoke to us and answered questions at length. The ratings would be excellent but unfortunately I find it a bit pricy at this time

The guide that assisted me with getting a view of the whole community was nice. Golden Oaks had a great scenery that my mother liked. The only available rooms were not on the first floor or close to the dinning room and activities center. The tour guide showed me a menu of the meals they sounded very good and nutritious. I liked that there was plenty of room outside for the residents.

Since the moment i saw the community i noticed it looked kind of outdated. The place where the residents had indoor activities was upstairs. Everything looked very plain the residents seemed to be doing okay. The feeling that i got about it was not very good and i thought the meal plans weren't something my mother would like.

There were different levels to this place. I didn't think this would work for my mother. We were looking for a room that would be near everything that they offered. The layout of the community didn't fit our needs. I noticed the community was colorful and had a lot of open spaces for the residents to be able to go. The menu looked tasty and they had a wide variety of options.

The home was very welcoming to my mom. Even though she is still settling, it has been a wonderful transition for her. There is lots to do, the area is lovely and everyone is so very helpful.

My of tour of this community was a good one. The community looks nice, everything appeared to be well maintained. The staff was friendly and nice. They were informative and answered my questions. It was a nice tour, this is a good community. Everyone was courteous.

My loved is doing well here at this community. She has adjusted very well to it, and she is happy here. She is being cared for very well and we are pleased. As long as she is happy and receiving good care, I'am satisfied.

This is a nice facility. I didn't care for the fact that the entry/lobby seemed to be the activity room, however, that wouldn't be a reason not to choose as the rest of what the facility offers is nice.

Staff were very friendly. Our tour guide really made mom feel special. At the end she gave her a little bundle of home made cookies. I thought that was just a very nice, special little touch. After all, it is often the little things that make a difference. Looking down the halls did not remind me of a nursing home. The facility was gorgeous and the rooms we looked at were very nice. We particularly liked the idea of having a balcony, which this place has. One resident told us he really liked it there, but the food could be better. Our lunch, however, was very good.

My father is getting great care with this community. The staff is very helpful in everyway with the care he is receiving. The community is clean and very beautiful. The food they offer is good and a good variety to choose from. Alot of activities are offered to keep active. I would highly recommend this for great care with a great value.

My loved one at times gets her dinner really late. The staff serves by table it would be nice if they could switch around the order for the tables that way every now and then everyone could get the chance to get their meals on time. The food needs better taste and the meals need to be a little bigger on portions. My loved one at the moment participates in some of the activities that are offered. It's a friendly community with nice staff.

My mom now lives here at this community. Unfortunately we found that she needs more care and this is not a fit for her now. However, they are letting her stay there and they have accommodated my mom and her aid. The staff are really good people. My mom eats good meals and I am happy with the community. I would recommend them to family or friends.

The staff that offered the tour at Bluebird Estates were very kind and helpful. They community is very well kept throughout is very welcoming. They offer a variety of activities for the residents to enjoy. We were considering this community for our loved one.

I really liked this community and found that it is a sister property to another that I like. It also looks nice and bright. i did not get to try the food, it was a quick visit. I noticed the staff got along with one another. It was an excellent tour and the tour guide was a nice woman.

The staff are pretty helpful and are getting to know mom. Housekeeping does a good job of keeping the community well taken care of. They offer daily activities. Mom seems to like the food and they have a good variety to choose from.

This was a very nice place. The only draw back was the safety issue compared to other places. They were not as concerned about their residence as other places. There was no Dr on site and no nurse in the residence. I liked the fact that there were no additional prices except, telephone, tv, internet, and indoor parking. Out door parking was free. Free bus service 7 days a week. The grounds were beautiful. The halls and rooms were very bright, clean, no odors, and well maintained. They showed me every size and all of them were a good size and well laid out. They were the only people that offered to give me lunch. I sat for lunch with a very nice lady. She had all good things to say about the place. I talked to other residents and they were pleased with everything except one lady which commented on the food. Most of the time it is good but there were dishes she did not like. The others said it was good. I myself really enjoyed the food today. There was plenty to eat. The volunteer was a very nice and polite young fellow. At the end they gave me a parting gift. That was very nice of them.

Aug 16 2016 I just had furniture delivered and had my first lunch as a resident, so far so good. I met a few people and all seemed to be pleasant and cheerful. I think I will be happy here.

Burlington Gardens made choosing a safe, friendly active retirement home for my mother in law easy. It is a bright, airy and modern facility! Everyone (even the wait staff) are so friendly. The suites are clean and inviting and my mother in law is looking forward to her move.

I toured today and was pleased to know they have bachelor suites and have more reasonable pricing. Yes it is dated but it has been around for at least 16 years. They have a nursing company for a minimum of $600 per month up to $1200. I talked to the owner of this company and she is very knowlegable about caring for the whole person, physical to mental well being. The place only has one elevator and thankfully only two stories so there was quite a lineup after lunch.

My only complaint is that the food is not as good as when my mom first got there. They might of changed the cook. I know that a lot of resident are not as happy with the food. Other then that, it is a great place filled with life.
