I have lived here for almost eight years. I like it here. In my time here, I have had several sponsors. Some I like better than others, but got along with all of them. I was asked to be an Ambassador and I accepted. I like to be of help when I can. I'm a poet, and I'm writing my life story.

My Dad was very resistant to moving in. He had a time transitioning from being on his own to living in a community setting. I also found it difficult to watch him struggle with this process. However, the folks that work there were able to help us both through the transition. From moving in all of my Dad’s things to listening to my concerns and helping me understand the process. There are several activities that the residents can participate in and local transportation if needed. One thing I would recommend though, is additional upgrades in the dining hall. There have been some changes to staff and menu but I still think there is room for improvement.

Location is great--centrally located with hospitals and shopping. Staff is fantastic --knows residents and families by name. They all go above and beyond for the seniors who live there. Activities are great--geared toward the seniors and what they want. I can't say enough good things about Blair House.

This is a stunning place. Open floor plan and more than friendly staff. A pleasant atmosphere with knowledgeable managers. No smell and exceptionally clean. Great food. Looking for my dad but I could see myself living there down the line.

I have just recently become acquainted With the wonderful people at The Manor. My sister is taking some time to adjust which is normal ! But I on the other hand feel right At home when I go to visit her. I feel confident that each and every question and concern that I bring to their attention, Will be addressed on a timely basis!!

[Name removed] is amazing! He educated me on the entire process of senior living and what to expect when I started looking for my grandmother. The Manor at Woodside was clean, friendly, and always had their residents as their top priority. When it is my time to finally leave my home I hope my children consider Manor at Woodside! Thank you to all the staff.

My relative has been at The Regent for a month. She has some brain damage and her memory is poor. She also suffers from some social challenges. The staff are outstanding. They accommodate my relative’s quirky needs. Staff are excellent in helping with transportation and her diabetic needs and finding activities that suit her. My only hesitation (4 1/2 stars instead of 5) is the other clients and their friendliness and acceptance. This is not reflective of the staff. Staff are patient and have bent over backwards to help my relative meet people and help her make friends with those who cannot are understanding of her challenges. These services go above and beyond the potential role of an Independent Living facility. I think once my relative becomes more familiar with the routines, they shouldn’t be so necessary but for now they are extremely welcome.

Although it was quite the adjustment for me I have definitely found home. This is a place that I never feel alone. All the staff are great and made me feel welcome from the very first day. I have made a lot of friends. The food is great and I enjoy not having to cook for myself. The activities director does a wonderful job with the wide variety of things for residents to do. She shows interest in each residents and what they like to do.

I like living at Redbud because of all the activities offered, friendships I have made and I get to enjoy my retirement in a safe environment where there is always someone around, I also don't have to cook or clean anymore.

I enjoy the people. Everybody is friendly.

I have lived here for a few years and am very happy here. No place is perfect but the facility is bright, clean and management is wonderful. There are some problems with the dining right now, but I know things will eventually work out. Our manager has been in the kitchen cooking, in the dining room serving and busing tables. Our assistant manager has also been serving and busing. There are also some residents who, I believe, should be in an assistant living facility, but there is nothing I can do about that. This is my home and the other residents are my family. I highly recommend this facility.

Living at Genesee Gardens is like a home away from home. Everyone is friendly and cares about you.

Meals aren't always the best but, I guess you can't please everyone all of the time. The brightness, cleanliness and people both residents and employees are very upbeat and friendly. It's a very nice environment.. Balconies are a definite plus.

From the first moment we went to see Arbour Lake Retirement home we have been made to feel very welcome. We moved our 85yr old mother in two months ago and can't imagine a better environment for her to be living in. It gives our whole family piece of mind to know that Mom is safe and well taken care of at Arbour Lake. It was a bit of an adjustment for Mom, which we expected, but it took no time for her to settle in and she loves it there. The weekly outings have come to be one of her favorite activities to participate in, and [name removed] always makes sure they all have a great time. Way to go Arbour Lake, you guys are awesome! Thank you very much!

My Mom has been there for three months now and after time for adjustment she loves it. We love it because we know she’s safe, has proper nutrition and do t have to worry about her having to clean her suite. The peace of mind for our family is worth it. Having a beauty salon in the building, activities my Mom can choose to participate in or not, friendly , caring staff make this a great choice for our family.

This is an awesome facility. Clean, very kind staff, excellent food. Definitely feels like "home" The existing tenants are all very kind, caring and make you feel like a family. I highly recommend Canyon Meadows

Niagara Village is so clean and attractive. Food is great and there are a lot of activities going on each day for the residents. Rooms are beautiful and well taken care of. My only concern is that there is no security or nobody to address concerns after the doors are locked at night. I guess I would feel better if there was a guard at the front door at night in case of a problem. Otherwise I think it is a wonderful facility!

I moved my sister in law into Golden Oaks. The facility is beautiful and the staff is very friendly! I think the food is good with several options for each meal. Remember, this is independent living so there really isn't "caring" being giving unless you add it on with a different company. We are very happy with our choice.

MY mom loves it there excellent food lots of activities making lots of friends her welcoming dinner was very nice She is very happy in her new home the staff is fantastic had her hair done at the salon and having the bus for transport is a bonus

My uncle is doing very well at Woodside! It is like a hybrid of independent and assisted. The staff is incredible! [Name removed], [name removed], [name removed], driver [name removed] and a bunch others have made this transition so much easier. My uncle utilizes the workout classes which has helped him improve with his physical weakness. He is a difficult person to please so this choice to reside at Woodside was a blessing from God!! Thank u
