My uncle is doing very well at Woodside! It is like a hybrid of independent and assisted. The staff is incredible! [Name removed], [name removed], [name removed], driver [name removed] and a bunch others have made this transition so much easier. My uncle utilizes the workout classes which has helped him improve with his physical weakness. He is a difficult person to please so this choice to reside at Woodside was a blessing from God!! The Court at Pringle Creek is a beautiful, well maintained & friendly staffed community. It's located in a great area also. There is also lots of parking available for visitors. The staff are great (some nicer and more accommodating than others) but all very friendly. The food and activities are excellent and well varied. I worry about the prices though. Although we were only there for respite care, I did speak with some of the residents who complained at the high & annually increasing prices. I realize that it's a beautiful, full service place, but there are many condos cheaper than the monthly rate (albeit without food or housekeeping, but still).

We searched for a place for our Dad where he could maintain his independence while not having to worry about meals, paying utilities, housekeeping, etc. Also important to us was the assurance that he would have people around who cared for his well being. We have found Forest Pines to be such a place. The staff are friendly, caring, interactive with the residents, and professional. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and the food is wonderful. Our Dad has been there a month now and he is doing great!

My Mom LOVES this place! She is making so many friends and loves all the activities. One important thing for our family is that my Mom is happy and she is. We almost have to make an appointment to see her. The food is awesome as well, I have eaten there several times with my Mom and it is always good

My Mother who is 85 moved into Victoria Park at the end of Oct she loves her studio suite the meals are fantastic she has celiac disease and the Chefs are very willing to work with her diet. They put on a welcoming meal for Mom and family last Sunday set a beautiful table and made her feel very special the Staff address every one by there first name and treat the residents like family as her daughter I see that she feels happy and well cared for awesome

We have been living here now for nearly six months and we love it. We live in a cottage which meets our needs extremely well. We wanted at least two bedrooms so our family can visit us. It is laid out perfectly with their own bathroom. We have another room which I turned into my study with desks, computer, printer, bookshelves and storage. The staff is wonderful. They are friendly with all, helpful in every way, care about you and tolerant of our new puppy who wags his tail on all. We are enjoying getting to know so many residents and have been able to develop friends from so many backgrounds. I can summarize it this way: My wife and I are thankful to have a place that meets our needs into which we enjoy awakening daily.

My feisty Irish mother moved into Greenwood Terrace in June 2018. Everyone was super nice and PATIENT! She rarely complains about the food, so we are very pleased that she's getting better nutrition than when living alone. And I'm pleased to say that she made a few friends that she enjoys having lunch with. I think the staff did a great job adjusting their style to meet her needs. She likes her independence (nice way to put it). I would recommend Greenwood Terrace for independent living.

Forsyth Court has been a great experience for Mother and a BIG help for the family with their onsite CNA's. They have recently remolded and the place looks GREAT! The amount of activities and outings are just right and they accommodate for those with mobility issues too! They have really taken a load off of my mind when it comes to caring for Mother

My mom loves living at the Prince George Chateau. The staff is awsome .

We moved mom to Alexis Gardens in April, 2018. She is a 90 year old with a prosthesis. She has an end 2 bedroom unit, which she likes very much. She was too far to wheel herself to the dining room for lunch and dinner, thus we did need to purchase an electric wheel chair. She is happy with the services they provide- daily meals, cleaning of rooms and activities. Mom only participates with the music events nor is she is not crafty. She certainly enjoys their library and the visiting library from Toledo. She is also pleased with the convenience of the beauty salon. She has hired one of the care givers services located in the building for daily assistance. She does complain about the food a little, she enjoys baked potatoes which are not on the menu often. However, the staff says she just needs to ask for one during lunch. She mostly goes down for lunch and often has dinner delivered. She has not used the driving service to doctors, as family is near enough to drive her. I am not sure if at 90 with the wheel chair she would be able to handle going to a doctor's alone. As her daughter, I am disappointed she does not feel strong enough to try to go on one of the outings, as she would enjoy a trip to the Art Museum, etc. Mom did a unit with a porch, which she does enjoy going out to sit on during nice weather. She has bird feeders up, which her great grandchildren and the home health aids help fill. Seeing the birds daily is a lovely treat. Her unit faces the back courtyard and is very quiet. She enjoys having family come to join her for meals and or to spend the night or a few days. This was an excellent move for mom.

My mother really liked her experience at Ironwood. The most difficult time she was initially when she was trying to find a place to sit in the dining room. One resident befriended her and had her sit with her so it became easier. Manager was excellent and worked very hard to meet my mother's needs

We really like having mom at Andover Place. The food is great and the dining room atmosphere is very friendly. Mom has made friends that sit together at meals and chat. The sad thing in this type of facility is that friends come and go as there health declines. About the time mom gets a new friend another friend leaves. Turnover of friends is trying for her. The facility is getting older and lately there have been fire alarm issues. The maintenance group is working to correct the system. Overall we and mom are happy with the experience.

My 92-year-old mother knows what she likes! She likes Victoria Park! We had tried 3 seniors homes before Victoria Park. I spent more time being a mediator between mom and the care homes than anything else. I was beginning think it would be less time-consuming to bring her home to live with us. But as that was not an option we decided to try one more place. I had a good feeling about the move and the feeling proved right. My mother is happy! She is relaxed and has made some very nice friends. This in itself is amazing as she tends to be content to be alone and mostly enjoys her own company. She even has complimentary things to say about the entertainment that is brought in for the residents. Her studio is bright, the sunshine pours in several windows. She loves the food and atmosphere in the dining room. (Previously, she had lived on Ensure as she disliked the way the meals were prepared.) For her. I think the eating experience at Victoria Park was the drawing card. Now, when we get together, it’s to do fun things like going out to the museum or a family event or a play instead of bringing food to her and seeing her unhappy. Since Dad has moved in, he is eating better, engaging more with other people & his strenghth has improved.

I have been here a few months. The decision to move to this facility was the proximity to services in the community, and other places I wished to visit. The facility has a community of retired persons from all over the US, making a diverse section of people. The differences make an interesting mix. Activities on the bus abound and range from trips to nearby points of interest to doctors visits and shopping. Inside activities include social hour, bingo, jewelry making, exercises, card games, and other activities run by the community. The decorations are tasteful and beautiful. Overall I am pleased to know I made the right decision to come to this facility.

Staff and management is the best ! Food is good, suites are very comfortable and good size. Grounds are well maintained, area is good. Pets are allowed so that is a plus. So glad my dad has an opportunity to live there.

I like living here. The staff is wonderful. Couldn't ask for anyone better. They are all great The price is a little high, I hope I can afford to stay here because we do like it here a lot. The food is good. I feel safe here..
