Really loved this facility. [Removed] and her husband are friendly, kind and accommodating. I will go back w/ my parents when the weather is nicer and they feel ok to come to Calgary.

We absolutely fell in love with this place. The community is newer and very nice. The people are fantastic and they are very nice and accommodating. The only reason why mom did not pick here is because she really wanted a full kitchen.

I came here with a lot of medical problems and scared. The staff is wonderful! The management is patient and supportive. The women from First light took such good care of me, that I am able to live on my own now. I will always be greatful for the care and kindness I've been shown in this beautiful place. Your family member will be happy here.

This is an amazing community, and my father is doing very well since his move here. He has adjusted very well to this community, and I'am pleased with all they have done for us. The community looks great, they do a great job with the cleanliness of the place. The staff is wonderful. I'am very impressed with them. They have many activities offered for the residents. It has been a lovely experience, and I would recommend this community.

For the little time we were there they were fantastic and it was going well the whole time . My advisor figured out that they have a specialty with independent care assistance within the community. She called over and they called me and told me it was possible. It worked out perfectly for us.

The food is great at Maple Suites and they will even bring the meals to your room if you are not able to get to the dining room. The staff are really nice and helpful. They offer a lot of daily activities. The grounds and the community are beautiful. Dad has made friends since moving into this community. The apartment is just right for his needs.

Very nice community but it is an independent living facility and they felt my mother's dementia might not allow her to fit in with socially with the residents. Similar to what she's experiencing where she is now.

The staff are really engaged with the residents and are great at passing information to one another. In that manner they ensure everyone gets the best care. The Victorian is very clean, offers great meals and has a great layout. The staff is very good at keeping the residents busy. Staff and residents alike are very welcoming. I have toured other residences and it is my opinion that The Victorian at McKenzie offers good value for the money. The Victorian has ample parking for guests.

It took my mother about a month to get well adjusted to the place, but now she loves it! The place is kept very clean, and she has housekeeping for her apartment as well. They provide 3 meals a day plus snacks. The meals are great, their lunch looks like dinner! They have alarge variety of activities to keep them moving. I would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat.

Maple Suites is a beautiful place for my dad. He was wowed with all that is offered at this community. I agree that I was wowed too. The transition has been going great with everything.

I am very pleased to see this community is really caring. We have found the staff to be outstanding to everyone. The meals are excellent and a good variety. She is very active in a lot of the wonderful activities that she is enjoying. This community comes with a high recommendation for other families who are needing a great home for a loved one with a good value.

I liked the tour I had with the community. I liked the people I dealt with but they were located on the east side of town. I am not familiar with the area. It also was a bit more in price but I would recommend this community to others. The woman there called me a lot and I liked her a lot.

The Village Gate of Farmington has been a good fit for my loved one. The meals there are provided to the residents and we have had a change to eat with her many times, the food is nutritious and in good portions. The place overall is kept clean and the staff is very friendly. Her apartment is very nice and a good size for her.

I really do like the care that my father has been getting here. The community is very clean. They offer good meals and a good variety. My father is offered activities to participate with other. Its nice to have him socialized with others. I would recommend this community to other families. looking for great care.

Been here for two weeks and so far everything has been very nice.

Finding dad a good retirement home, one best suited for him and comparable to the life style he was accustom to living in his condo was a challenging task but extremely important for my sister's and I. We wanted the best possible home for dad. My sister's and I visited and researched several in our local area. Some very lovely homes however not affordable for him being that he was self employed much of his life so living without a employment pension. We were quite frustrated when I came upon the web site for "A home for mom" this proved to be invaluable to us because without [Removed] help we would have never found The Court of Brooklin and quite possibly would have had to stay in his condo lonely and isolated. Now my father is adjusting well and even his health is improving in his new home. The other residents have welcomed him with open arms and the staff have been very helpful in his transition. The home is clean & well kept, the décor is very nice and quite comfortable and as my father describes...the food is great! My dads studio suite is larger than some that we had seen and with a well designed floor plan. Most of all he even has a small balcony, with a view, which was a priority for him. His most treasured place in the spring/summer was sitting on his balcony at his condo enjoying the views. Now he can continue with his favorite pass time. With our thanks for all your help, dads devoted daughters :)

The staff are superb and because of them dad's transition into the community was successful. They go out of their way to support dad with his care needs. He likes the food and the community is well taken care of. They offer daily activities. The staff want to make sure the whole family are satisfied and I would highly recommend this community.

My mom moved to Essex House last Saturday. Manager [Removed] went over and above expectations. When TV cable connection did not work, she attempted to try several cable boxsets with no luck. Finally she came up with an antennae and allowed my mom to get some local stations and she was able to watch the Penn State game which she had been looking forward to. The Essex House is very clean and the folks are very friendly. Even though my mom was reluctant to leave her home of 57 years, she seems to be settling in just fine and her spirits are up. She loves the food and has even gone to see a Christmas singer (who also did a few Sinatra songs). We could not have hoped for a better result!!!

My dad knew when he came to Sheldon Oaks it was the one and likes that he is not alone. The staff have been nice to him. He likes the meals which include a salad or cottage cheese, choice of main dish, and a dessert. There has been no missing or lost items with housekeeping, no issues. Shante the manager was really nice and caring but she is not longer there. He likes it here.
