We were very impressed with Genessee Gardens! At first, we were hesitant about even looking into this community because the cost was a bit too high. However, [Removed] encouraged us to come in and offered to help us find a solution even if this place was not the answer. The company was able to work within our budget and my mother in law moved into a beautiful, modern, clean senior apartment. She still can't believe everything that is included in her rent! When we toured the place, the first thing we both said to each other was, "I'd live here myself!" Everyone who has come to visit says the same thing: "I want to live here!" Even the grandkids in their 20s are envious of grandma's "all inclusive resort." The management is professional, helpful, and compassionate. There is very low employee turnover with most staff having 5+ years there. Residents seem friendly and happy. Since outside assistance can be contracted on an as-needed basis, some of the residents, who in other cases would need to be in an assisted living, are able to stay put here. My 85 year old mother in law is in pretty good shape physically, but is showing signs of dementia. The only negative comment from my mother in law is, "I'm too young to live here!" I think Genessee Gardens will do her a world of good.

I am enjoying my stay very much! I have met some lovely people and I am very comfortable with my stay. The facility is also very clean, and the meals are good. I also found the facility to be very budget friendly, and the amenities come in handy, such as the laundry amenities. I feel like this was the right move for me.

We liked the tour for care. We were able to get our questions answered. The community was clean and we liked that they had a good variety of activities that would have been offered. The menu seemed appealing. We would suggest that other families tour this community for good care with a nice value.

Overall I think Victoria Park is a very nice place. The facility is beautiful, the food is good, and the people that work here are awesome. However, this community is completely independent, and going in we assumed they offered some degree of assistance, so be aware of that if it might be an issue for your loved one. One other problem we had is that when moving in we had to sign a three month contract, but our loved one ended up needing to go to the hospital after about a month so we had to pay for two months that he was not even there.

I like living in this nice community. The staff is nice and very attentive. The community offers great meals and there is an excellent variety to choose from. The activities are nice and making friends has been nice here. I would highly recommend this community for a great place to live.

Nice place. Some of the advertising was a little deceiving, listing only one price for the studio apt. but different apts. are different prices. I liked the one appt I saw, but it was $1000 more per month.

The care of this community is wonderful and caring. The staff are always letting me know on her. They have a nice community and I like knowing that she is happy with the good variety of healthy meals. The offer my mom to participate in the activities with the other residents and she is willing to participate. I would recommend this community to other families want good care and a nice value.

Wish we could have only rented for the time we needed. Had to commit to 3 months but only needed 6 wks. Was pretty expensive to pay for 6 weeks when we weren't staying here. Food and service was great. Staff was friendly n caring. Was perfect for our needs when my husband had a stem cell transplant 200 miles from home.

We toured this community for care and we liked the staff. This community did not have what we looking for due to .other care was the need. We liked the menu that would have been offered with healthy choices. They have a lot of activities that the residents would enjoy. We would recommend that other families tour this community for the options of good care and value.

I really like what we saw and signed up. We move in on the 23rd of this month [june] hope its everything i feel like it looks to be. Everyone we talked to were super nice. Thanks to you all for your help ...[Removed]

Although my Grandma never got the chance to live at The Court at Brooklin Whitby (she remains in the care of Rehab), I was able to spend 3 months with the Court of Brooklin getting her suite ready for her. I met some of the kindest and caring people (staff & residents). I am very sad that my Grandma won't be a part of their home. They are fantastic!

Very friendly and helpful staff! Made our mom very welcome!

Outstanding facility. Much general open space and facilities. Great programs. Good values on cost/expense end of the equation.

I m happy with the care that my mother is getting from this nice caring community. the staff keeps me informed on any changes hat she may have. the community is clean and enjoyed. I like knowing that she is happy with the menu and the gritty of health meals. My mom is always busy with the activities. I would be happy to recommend this community to other families.

The apartment that my parents recently moved into at this community has been a perfect fit for them. They really like all of the great amenities it has to offer and they have a wonderful view outside there window. I like that they have a common activity center where all of the residents can enjoy a nice social environment. I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone interested.

I am happy with knowing that the care is a big change for my nephew. The staff is always caring and attentive to his needs .The community is clean well maintained. He is happy with the good variety of meals, but they need to be more flexible with the residents as far as meal times. I like knowing that he is participating in activites with the other residents. We would recommend the care and value of this community to other families.

My mother is doing very well since her move, she is thriving there. She loves the housekeeping girl that cleans her room, she mentions that she is amazing. When I initially moved my mother in, they said they make sure she is active but so far, I don't think they have really followed through with that. My mother has a good friend that she made there. They both are not fans of the food. I have not eaten there but it does not look that appealing. Other than that, it has been a very good experience so far.

We toured this community and we did not see what we needed for my grandmother's care. The staff was nice, bt they did not have a caring touch. The menu was appealing and the community was clean. I wanted something more for my grandmother. The rooms did not have what she wanted. Families might want to consider a tour of this community for the care that is good for them

I have no complaints so far about The Regent! The facility is clean and well maintained for my mother. The staff are sure to take care of her. There are many healthy meal options available to my mother, and plenty of activities for her to participate in.

We are very trilled with this community. My mother in law is really enjoying her time here. This is a great, safe community. The staff is great. They were great with their follow up, and keeping in contact with us. The community looks great, everything is very well maintained. Everything is working out very well, and I would highly recommend this community.
