really nice staff, for mike just a tiny bit behind Pringle Creek as it had the garden walk setting, apart from that we would think that either of these two residences would have worked well for mike. We could not put them on the list because of geographic location only which was an internal family issue.

[Name removed] was great answered all my questions. All of the residents seemed to really enjoy being there. Employees were calling the residents by name and noticing different things. like one had gotten her hair cut really left an impression.

Very nice facility. Open, lots of sunlight, clean, quiet. I liked the size of the suites - both 1 bedroom and 2. I also liked the availability of a range of support depending on needs. Definitely the type of facility we'll lean towards as we narrow the search.

Very thorough tour with all of our questions answered. Very fine meal provided, prepared and served well. Opportunity to walk about and talk to other residents.

Mom has been at the Niagara Village for several months now, and we have been really impressed with their entire operation. All the staff are friendly, helpful and gracious, they all seem to really take caring for the residents very seriously. The food is wonderful, the chef and his staff do a great job of making each meal attractive, flavorful and healthy. One of the best things about the Niagara is that family members are invited and encouraged to join the residents for meals whenever they can, and there is no charge to do so. That means I can pop in and have lunch with Mom whenever my schedule permits, and it's been really nice. The entire facility is beautiful, decorated attractively, clean and welcoming. The grounds are gorgeous and well-maintained, and there are plenty of places to walk and/or sit outside and enjoy the outdoors when weather permits. Entertainment is ongoing, with things to do pretty much every day. Outings are planned too and the residents can take advantage of the many opportunities to go places and do things around town. The bus is also at their disposal and it's very nice. Mom lived in another high-end senior living community where she paid a lot more for less, and she's very happy with everything that the Niagara Village has to offer - and especially the lower price! I really enjoyed my visit. Very clean, friendly and welcoming. Residents very friendly and welcomed us to their home. Food was good and staff all went out of their way to make us feel welcome. I felt like it was a definite place to visit when my mom comes to Rochester.

Beautiful units, wonderful food. Could be a financial problem especially if one of us needs nursing home care

Though the property is an older facility, it's functionality but no frills weighs quite heavily as a good if not great landing place for mom. While you don't find a theater style movie room here, it has a real sense of community not just with residents but the city as well - today a police officer had lunch with them, next week it is the mayor. Activities schedule was robust with something for everyone, included in the price is three meals a day. Apartments range in size and configuration but very reasonably priced. Nursing and other specialities is provided by third parties not on-site staff, as additional cost although potentially covered by insurance if not privatized. Chapel, library, on-site salon (extra cost) and other community functions are available, also rides to medical practitioners and grocery shopping if desired to have your own food in the apartment.

Great atmosphere, staff, amenities... They have gone the extra mile to ensure resident and family have every area of anticipated and unanticipated need amply satisfied!

My husband and I went for a visit of Fleming Point. We were greeted at the front door by [name removed], the GM and offered coffee and some fresh cookies. Our tour guide [name removed] was very knowledgeable and made you feel very comfortable. You could tell that he loved what he did. The residents were happy and staff was very friendly. It seemed liked a warm environment and very clean. I was a little disappointed that there weren't stoves in the apartment but with three meals a day I guess you wouldn't need one. They can bring there own things and make it truly their home. The next thing is to get my mom to come for dinner and get her to see why it's a good idea. It is a little on the pricey side but I can see it is like a 5 star motel. I felt like I was on a cruise. Kudos to their staff and higher up people.

I had a great tour with [name removed]. I met many nice residents including many of the same ones that lived here when my mom was a resident. I'm looking for my Mother-In-Law and she is not happy about having to move. This is a clean, friendly and very homelike environment. I'm hopeful we can get her to come for a visit. It feels like your on vacation and a bonus that [name removed] & [name removed] are still here. It was very comfortable being there again. WONDERFUL!!!

they have everything here. Sadly I am unable to get an opening for my mom at this place at this time. Although she is very much in love with this place as well.

My Mom and Dad have lived in Golden Oaks for 4 years, my Dad passed away n March 9th, he really loved it here, they lived in a 2 bdrm, 2 bath Apt, with their 2 cats, when my Dad passed away I moved my Mom into a 1 bdrm, 1 bath apt, and she loves it, The staff and the crew are absolutely wonderful, [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed], [name removed] are so helpful and will help with whatever you need if it is within their capabilities, or direct you to a source for what you need. The facility is 3 floors, there are stairs for those that like the exercise and can climb them, they also have an elevator for those n walkers or scooters, everyday there is some kind of activity for the residents to partake in, my Dad liked Bean Bag baseball and Bingo, The facility is an Independant, all inclusive residence for seniors, if you are in the market to relocate and have many many friends your own age and want to join in the activities, then I suggest that you go take a tour of the facility and get a quote, you wont be sorry.

The facility was very nice and everyone we met was welcoming and cordial. Since this is independent living only, I will need to find other options.

Beautiful facility. Warm environment with professional and caring staff. The studio apartment was perfect for my mom. The list of daily activities for the residents was exactly what we were looking for in a community for my very social mom. The pricing was very reasonable considering all the is included and the peace of mind we will get once mom is moved in there.

Court of Rushdale made my mom's transition easy for her. The environment is homey, friendly, fun and gives me a piece of mind she is taken care of. The meals are excellent with a great variety of healthy meals. There is lots of activities and the residences are helpful and friendly. We made the right choice when picking Court of Rushdale.
