Iwas so amazed that I found a plan that my Uncle could be close to family here in Victoria. This all happened within a month, which I was glad that it did not take long to get through the process at all. The staff that we met were so great and very helpful.

A wonderful place! My uncle has been enjoying it immensely! He told me he wish he had moved in 10 years ago.

This is an Independent Living facility. It is awesome! The residents are HAPPY! My mom's 24/7 private caregivers are not only welcome, but embraced as family. My mom is 93 and on the Alzheimer's/Dementia journey. She enjoys her roomy two bedroom apartment with porch, yummy meals in the dining room, church, and activities. The adminstrators are AMAZING....know the residents by name, serve meals, sit and talk with residents and more. We are blessed to have been introduced to Essex House by our Place for Mom consultant.

What a WONDERFUL PLACE! I am so excited to be living at The Regent. The food is amazing with lots to choices. The Executive Chef was an instructor for the famous Cordon Bleu Cooking School in Portland. How lucky we are to have him cooking for us. Plus he speaks French! I really enjoy meeting all the people in the community. They are from all over the world. Great diversity! The activities are my favorite! Craft hour is always a blast. [Name removed] does an amazing job at keeping everyone busy. We also enjoy casino trips and outings to the coast plus other fun places. I have searched for a couple years before finding The Regent. So glad I did. You will never find a more caring staff. Most have been here for years. I recommend The Regent to any one who wants a wonderful place to live!!

My mother is very happy with the meals. The residents are friendly and she loves participating in all the activities offered. The resident is very bright and clean.

The care provided by the Manor at Woodside for my 92-year-old mother surpassed all my expectations. The staff, the activities, the food, the intimate and friendly atmosphere all contributed to helping my mother feel comfortable and at home. Everything was so well run at this independent living facility and I would heartily recommend the Manor to anyone who is looking to have their elderly loved one living in a safe and comfortable environment. I will always be grateful to the staff at the Manor for the care and attention they gave to my mother.

I very much liked this facility. The resident rooms were nice. They had a small kitchenette in each of them, which I can see my dad utilizing. I liked that they had "add on" options for extra care as my dad's health and needs would progress in time. This facility is one I can see my dad living in.

The living space is quite comfortable. We have a large, bright living apartment. The staff is very personable and responsive. The Foodservice is way above average. The big bonus is a nice big patio with great privacy.

This place was wonderful to my Mom. With [name removed] [name removed] and [name removed] she felt right at home and the woman who dealt with all the extracurricular activities was superb. Everyone there went out of their way to be kind and helpful

Tour went well. Facilities were clean and staff and residents were friendly. Food, transportation and activities were great. No health/personal care included, though. This is just a retirement community for completely independent seniors.

We had a nice tour and the food was great. This independent living had nice apartments sizes and great amenities. The residences and staff were nice and friendly. [Name removed] was very helpful and answered all our questions and provided us with great information. The residents seem to interact very well with each other and we saw a lot of them participating in the main activity for that day, which was an antique car show. This a large size independent living facility in a nice location...close to South Hill Mall, many restaurants, YMCA, and stores.

So far, there are no negatives. Staff has been excellent.

We moved my Mom in right after they renovated the entire facility. It has a relaxing and cozy atmosphere, and everyone is very friendly. The rent is cheaper than any other facility we toured, and we were fortunate enough to get a fixed rate. The meals are at fixed times, and provide a mixture of delicious food. They encourage everyone to take their meals together, which helps everyone get to know each other. There is a parking garage underneath the facility for ease of use and security.

We have been speaking with [name removed] and did a tour with her as well. She is very informative and her response time is excellent. My mother-in-law loved [name removed], the lunch, and the facility.

Seems to offer everything Mom would need. Seems that they keep track of the residents. The tour was giving by [name removed] I liked her presentation and got an overall good feeling about her and the place. The cons: Not as bright and cheery as some of the other places I've seen. I didn't like the balconies in the apartments on the upper floors. Really don't want mom on anything but the 1st floor. There might be an apartment opening in July on 1st floor, courtyard. I won't get on the wait list until I've seen a few more places. Or until the end of this week, whichever comes first. Turns out Mom needed more care than they offered so we ended up not choosing this place.

Wow I wish we found this place sooner. Food is great, the people are great, the building is great...WOW!

I came to Fleming Point to drop off some coupons for our restaurant. I was immediately welcomed and not rushed out the door. Much to the contrary they invited me to stay for lunch. I was on the clock so I couldn’t stay however it was so welcoming I will definitely recommend them to people I run across. Thank you!

Visited Fleming Point and was taken back by the warm welcome. It was not just the staff but the residents as well. The food was great and you had ample choices. Very clean. I left not feeling pressured but more like they were really there to help me. Definitely going to be a choice when my parents come back to NY.
