I have been living at the Manor At Woodside for three years this October and I can that I have found a home away from home. I am so pleased with all the staff, eventhough there are a few things that can be improved.

As soon as I entered the building, I was kindly received by administration staff with smiles and handshakes.The Sales Leader was very warm and welcoming. She led me on an easygoing tour, explaining everything they offered in detail. I never once felt rushed and could ask all the questions I needed. The retirement home is very clean, bright, and airy. The hallways and common rooms are quite large, so there is a feeling of space. The rooms can be decorated, painted, and set up with a resident’s personal furniture to provide some feeling of the home they are leaving. The rooms are also quiet when the doors and windows are shut, which makes me think they used quality construction methods (this place is along a busy road and noise from traffic couldn’t be heard unless the room was open). This place is located near the best amenities in Palmdale too. The tour made me so much more excited about my dad potentially loving in than the website did initially. I’m hopeful my dad will like it and we can call it home for him if he’s willing to move here. One other note: many of the staff have worked here for many years. I see this as a good sign that happy employees = good working conditions and good living conditions for the residents.

Thought I would take a moment and say "how very pleased we are", to have my mother as a resident of Chateau at Harveston. From the excellent staff, who made the arriving process so smooth and enjoyable, to the clean and well prepared room my mother is in and the unique and well prepared food. I highly recommend this for many senior living experience. Staff is all extremely professional. "put your seniors here"

Great Place to Live with a lot of great friends to be made. The staff here is amazing at what they do.

My Mother just moved in not to long ago and I am very pleased with Essex House. All the staff have been so great to my mother. She has adjusted better than I thought she would. The Activity Director there has gotten her involved in activities. She has made a lot of new friends and I feel so at ease now that I know she is safe and there is always someone around.

I have lived here for quite a few years. And I must say that although it was an adjustment at first that I absolutely love being here. I enjoy all aspects, the food, friends, and staff, activities. If you are looking for a great place to live you should come visit.

The activities director, [name removed], is superb! Always friendly yet with a laidback attitude, she goes the extra mile. The activities are interesting and involve many residents. A bonus to the Redbud community. I have to say the entire staff at Redbud, top to bottom, are great which makes makes this particular living facility amazing! Thank you, [Name removed]

I enjoy living at Redbud because of the variety of different activities and foods along with the great people I have met.

My experience at Redbud has opened me to a variety of different activities I had never done before while also allowing me to participate in some of my favorites. We had poker, BINGO, exercise class, outings and so much more.

My experience at Redbud has been great, I lived out of town and was happy to hear about this type of living opportunity.

People are 100% acceptable to me appreciates all the friendships I have made and maintain. Love the service i receive here, I am a healthier person since moving here. I love all the staff. I have never felt so accepted. I feel very cared for by everyone.

I love my apartment with a great view with a balcony. Everything is very convenient here along with the location. The food here is good just maybe need more seasoning. The staff here are wonderful and really helped me through hard times. They are always helpful no matter who you go to they are always willing to help. There are a lot of activities here. The activity director really makes things happen for everyone to enjoy and is great to be around. I hope that all the staff here stays because they are all very compassionate people.

The Essex House has been a wonderful transition for me and I love being surrounded by so many caring people (residents and staff). I love the food and not having to cook anymore. The coffee bar is always well stocked to get coffee or a snack between meals. The activities are fun and she is always thinking of new and great things to add to our monthly activity calendar. Our activity director is friendly and caring and is always willing to listen. She comes up with great outings for us. We have a lot of fun here, I never get bored. Everyone here is very positive and like family to me. I would highly recommend a tour.

Three delicious and complete meals a day with choices plus healthy and unhealthy snacks!!!! The "rate lock" is a terrific deal!!!! Homey and friendly environment !!

My mom is adjusting, having lived independently and in her own home for so many years. I think Forsyth Court is the perfect place for making these adjustments since they offer a wide variety of activities, friendships, and more. I'll be heading to North Carolina at the end of September, four months of moving in, so I'll get a better idea. I can't say enough about "A place of mom" and all the help they provided. I live in Michigan and really had no idea what North Carolina had to offer. Their assistance was greatly appreciated.

I have lived at Willow Grove for over 2 years. The staff is very friendly and will help in any way. Lunch bunch twice a month is my favorite outing. I enjoy Wii Bowling and Coloring with Friends. New friends are always welcome.

From the moment we arrived to check out Forsyth Court until today after my friend has been there almost 3 months we have been treated with kindness and respect. My friend who has memory issues is treated with dignity, respect and empathy. You can tell the staff like their jobs, care about the residents and are concerned for their welfare. The food is great, the apartment is nice and the community is clean. Forsyth Court was truly an answer to my prayers.

A peaceful location close to shopping and amenities. Friendly staff and residents. Clean facility that appeared to be well maintained. Was not my Mom’s preferred location and activities were slightly more limited than some of the other facilities we visited.
