Hickory Senior Living

This facility is clean and seems to be a well-organized structure. My Father likes the food but they don’t offer a lot of variety. The staff is always kind and when I call, they’re always nice and answer my questions. The only concern I have is he should have run out of medication by now and we haven’t been billed for it yet. I tried to call and see if he ran out or what is going on, but I have been waiting on a call for a while now. The other thing that’s going on is you can smell urine coming from his room. I would recommend this facility to other families

The food is good and they seem to offer well balanced meals. They offer snacks throughout the day.The staff have been very nice and are working with mom to help keep her active. They are caring and patient. The community is very clean and the grounds are well maintained. I would recommend this community.

I had a nice tour of this community. Everyone was very kind to my family, and I. The community was clean, and everything looked well maintained. The staff cordial, and polite. Everything went well, but my mother decided to move to another facility.

So far everything is working out great with my mothers move to this community. We are satisfied with all they have done for our family. They have been very helpful. She is doing a lot better, and everything is working out very well. This is a community I would recommend to my friends, and family.

The employees I met could not have been more helpful. The small environment really gives County Cottages a feeling like you are in a home. The only reason I am giving it four stars is that the rooms are all studio and are quite small. This was not the right fit for my mother in law, but it is definitely worth a look if the studio apartment is okay with you. The employees really seemed to care about the residents and work to make the people there feel loved and like they are at home.

From what I saw of the commons, this seemed like a nice place to stay. Everything was clean and staff and residents were friendly. Though it did not quite fit my needs, as I preferred not to live in apartments, The Commons seemed like a nice place to live.

The staff have done a good job caring for mom. They are attentive and we have good communication. The food is good and they keep the community clean. They offer daily activities and I would recommend this community.

My mother is adjusting well at The Blake.The staff is all caring and smiling. It's a very welcoming and positive atmosphere!

This looked like a nice community and the people I met were friendly. The apartments they have would have been to small for my parents. This community is more for assisted living and we were looking for independent living.

We had to get a few things straighten out with the community at first and now everything is better. She enjoys the meals and activities. We like that it is in her hometown so her friends can visit her often. It helps with her getting more settled in. The staff have been helpful friendly during her transition and keep in contact with me. She is doing a lot better.

I was able to take a tour of this community. I really did like it and the people. They were very nice and helpful with me and my loved one. There is a lot of natural light in the building. The residents were out and very pleasant. The only reason why my loved one didn't pick here was because they had no toaster oven in the apartment.

I toured this community for my mother and her needs. My tour went well, this is a nice community. The community was well maintained. From what I saw everything was nice and clean. The staff was kind and friendly. It was a nice experience.

The interaction between the staff and the residents is good. My grandmother and i feel that the cleanliness is okay. One of the services that she likes is the church service that the community offers. The only thing that my grandmother wishes that they could make better is the food. There needs to be more variety and taste of the meals. Besides this it's great place and we would recommend it.

Country Cottage offered a very beautiful community. It was very well kept and clean throughout. They staff were very competent and were all able to answer my questions and concerns. They shared the menu and activities schedule and they had a variety offered for the residents
