I have been a guest from Hometown for almost a year and it has been good. I've made good friends and the residents are wonderful. It's a great place to be.

My mom has lived at this location for over 2 years. She has had many obstacles health wise, as many do when we are blessed to love long enough. The care and compassion for mom has been wonderful, even with these obstacles. She is happy - my family is happy and thankful we chose Azura Oconomowoc.

Overall very good. Having cared for several relatives and parents over the past 15 years in various nursing homes or assisted living facilities, I would say what is best about Azura is its small size. This environment allows for more personalized care and attention. Would like to see more phasis on stimulation throughout the day for all residents not just those who can participate in a game, puzzle, etc. More options for outdoor activities. How about caregivers who can take residents on a bus or van to a park, local concert, out to eat, etc? (for example). Memory care residents should not be isolated in the facility. Some do not have family to take them out for simulation.

The Director of Community relations at Azura Memory Care far exceed my expectations for assistance with learning about health care options available to our family. She diligently worked with us to ensure our mother would be able to reside at Azura during a time of family crisis. We will be forever grateful for her caring, understanding, compassion and cooperation!!

I live in FL and have only visited a few times. I was pleased with the facility, the staff and apparent care provided to my mother.

Our son lives in Harmony. He is almost 40 and has lived here close to ten years. His apartment is lovely with a nice view on the third floor. His room has a new carpet and linoleum floor in the [removed] He likes living there because he enjoys the food and the staff treats him with respect. He prefers to be left alone to listen to his music, however, there are times when he is more social and he seems to get along with the rest of the residents. He enjoys the opportunity to associate with the diversity of people who live there. There are young people from a nearby Church who help with gardening and spending times with the residents. I think the main reason he likes it there is it feels like a comfortable and safe home for him. He appreciates that it is his own place.

Quality care by a caring/housing staff. Treated with respect and compassion.

Good care. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food and clean facility. I wish there was some way to keep long time employees as change of caretakers is a little hard on residents.

I went on a tour here and it had a nice and cheery dining area. But all I could smell was disinfectant. The rooms seemed fine. It seemed to be clean. I think the ratio of caregivers to residents weren't right. They also had a buzzer at the door that was constantly going off. It had a nice view of the lake it just wasn't the right fit for dad it wasn't really geared to memory care although they were trying they had a traveling memory care person come in.

Azura is a quality memory facility. My mom’s care over the last 4+ years has been good. While some of the staff seems to have high turnover rates, the staff who get to know mom are very good at communicating the joys and concerns of my mom’s daily life. I would and have suggested to others to check out Azura!

My mother has been a resident in Stoughton for just about 2 years now. Her care there has been very good. Staff are kind, compassionate and sensitive to individual needs. Mom seems happy and content. Thank You, Azura!!

The facility is new and very clean. The personnel were very pleasant and were quick to answer any questions we had. There will be more questions when we make a return tour with Mother to get her reaction. I was impressed with the overall facility.

I toured Brookdale while looking at living options for my husband. It was a very nice place, and the administrator that helped us and gave the tour was absolutely wonderful, but they were not able to take him at the time we were touring, so we chose another place.

I’m retired and have a friend here. The help is very nice and take good care of their.

[Removed] has only been here for a few days. He has been made to feel welcome by the staff. I realize it takes a while for everyone to learn of his special “quirks “and assume as they get to know him better, they’ll know just what to do.

We toured Azura Memory Care of Kenosha South. The staff was friendly and explained what care our loved one would receive. We chose another community with bigger room accommodations.

We toured a few different communities and they were all very nice and offered what we were looking for but this one had the location going for it the location is much closer to us than any of the others. The staff is very friendly and caring. Dad seems to be happy here he is slowly starting to socialize more and hopefully it will increase as time goes by. He hasn't complained about the food so I am assuming he is liking it. We are very pleased with this community and the care he is getting.

I had a really fantastic respite stay at Stoney River Assisted Living and Memory Care. I really enjoyed the food that they served. I had the best omelets I've ever had in my life. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. I had eye surgery and the staff made me feel at home and comfortable while I was recuperating. I was not able to participate in the activities that they offered. But I would definitely stay there again and would recommend Stoney River to friends and family.

My mom recently (last two months) moved into Stoney River Assisted Living. It has been an adjustment for her to go from independent living to community living. The staff has been friendly and are trying to get her more involved in the many and varied activities. She is slowly doing that. They have many activities 7 days a week which includes religious services so important to some residents. I understand there has been some new hires in the food services area and though my mom does not say anything negative about the food she does say that the dining room is very noisy and so is sometimes hard to get your order for your food right. Overall I feel the facility is working with her, and us, to help her adjustment.
