My wife has been a resident for 5 years and staff comes and goes, which I expect. Current staff is wonderful. Average is about 21 ( I think) but they are conscientious, caring, diligent and great to see when I visit. Always busy and take super care of my Wife.

Those in leadership and staff at this community understand Dementia and how to support and make a difference in their residents life's despite the illness. The director and on-site registered nurse work mainly with primary care providers to ensure their approaching and meeting requirements.

My husband has been a resident almost a year. He is a difficulty patient and have seen a great staff come onboard. Truly gifted everyone and activities greatly improved. Meals are excellent, highly recommended. Meals are excellent. Highly Recommend.

Every time I visit, the staff is very friendly. They know by name and whom I am there to see. My aunt seems to be like it there and she looks like she is getting good care. I think they need to do more activities with the residents.

Most of the staff is very friendly and conscientious. They have proved to deal with some difficult situations with some residents. I find Azura to be comfortable in answering questions that I have, They make a good effort for activities.

Just like everyone else in the world they are experience some turnover within their staffing - however all of the staff that are there are excellent and are absolutely trying their best. The meals are excellent, even when our family comes to visit the chef offers a meal for us. The lady who comes and does the activities comes about three times a week and is great with the residents and very encouraging with our loved one. We would recommend this community to other families.

Significant positive changes have been observed with a new director, new quality of life coordinator, and consistent staff. Meals, clean clothes, and a cleaner environment have improved. My mom and the other residents thoroughly enjoy the activities and positivity that [name removed] brings.

Would like the careworkers to introduce themselves to family members - often my mom has food on her shirt and pants - overall care and activities are much better. Keep up the good work!

The staffing levels are sometimes an issue and can effect the care that they can provide. The staff they do have is great, but level of staff skills varies. I would suggest more events that include families.

Sylvan Crossings had availability quickly when I was needing to move my loved one. The staff here is very good. They seem to handle his care well if not better than where he was at previously. I would recommend them to others.

The thing I like about Sylvan Crossings and a few others is they don't make you put any endowment in. I also like that it's very small, my husband is more introverted. It's in a suburb, far away from any main streets. He has a nice room with a beautiful green view. The staff is friendly and the food is homemade everyday. It's so far, so good! I was glad to find out about A place for Mom; I was recommend by my daughter's friend who is a social worker.

The facility reminds me of a resort/hotel, friendly and caring staff, lots of activities available

Edencrest is understaffed and they need more help. The girls that worked there and worked with me were fabulous, but the people in their memory care facility were hired from an outside firm. They had to bring staff in because they are so understaffed, because of that his care wasn't as good as it should have been. When I argued with them about this they were very accommodating, willing to listen, and did make some changes. Anyone that puts a family member in a care facility should have a camera in their room. No one takes care of your family member like you will take care of them. If I didn't have a camera in the room, that would've been a sin to me. For me to be able to watch the camera and call in to say he's on the floor or he needs this and that, is invaluable. They're supposed to check on him every 30 minutes, but that wasn't happening because they were so understaffed. The girls in the unit that were there, kind of just sat on their phones. If I was an elderly person and one of the residents who live in their little apartments, I'd rate that a 10/10, as they are looked after. The people in the dementia hall need more attention because they don't have a voice. Assisted living residents can speak up and say what they want or need. There were family members who didn't visit their loved ones in memory care, so they didn't get as much attention. I, personally, visited my loved one often and was bathing him 3 times a week. Although I was paying the [price removed], I was basically the one caring for him (aside from nighttime). I've been to three different facilities with different loved ones, and it's all the same thing. They're all understaffed and if the family doesn't participate in their loved one's care, they're going to get what they get.

The staff is caring and they do the best they can. I think a lot of staff members are overworked, so I think the facility is understaffed sometimes. Communication between the community and our family is good, and it's normally done by phone or text. I would recommend Azura Memory Care to others.

They were pretty decent. My loved one wasn't there for long. But while we were there, the people who worked there were very good and very nice. And the facility itself was very nice.

This has been a good fit for my loved one. I feel they really care about the residents. The communication with the staff is very good and it is free flowing. There are three meals a day. Breakfast is a choice, and the other meals it is a prepared meal. If the resident doesn't like the meal, they can request another item such as a sandwich. Also, there are snacks the community provides.

Our family had an in person tour and the staff were very friendly and we were confident they could of cared for our loved one but the community itself was smaller and they had shared bathrooms which we did not really care for

I would say that my mother has been in three facilities and this one is by far the Best!

It's a good place If family member is getting dementia. The head nurse is phenomenal, and the director is not. The doctor that comes in to visit is phenomenal. They are both the reason that I stayed.

This is our first experience but so far we appreciate their willingness to work with us and make the improvements that are needed. The staff are very friendly and they have a good team working on activities so they are trying their best to provide the residents with opportunities to get involved.
