Excellent! After a three day trial our 94 year old active family member decided she wanted to move from her home immediately into independent living at Northridge. She feels respected, likes the cleanliness, has found card buddies and is enjoying the socialization and chef made meals! We trust Northridge enough to be able to enjoy our own retirement and feel she is in good hands.

The staff is out of this world & they all CARE about your Love Ones needs. They have FANTASTIC MEALS. Folks I could go on & on about the Colonial Harbor Retirement Community Yorktown VA. I have not moved into this community yet, but so far my everything is working out. I'am waiting for my home to sell, but I'am looking forward to my move to this community. The community looks great. The staff is kind and courteous. There are activities offered for the residents through out the week. I'am hoping everything continues to go well. This is a lovely community.

My mother just passed away at 91 after living here 16 months. She had a very good experience at Sterling. It is a beautiful new living community. She did not want to be in a medical community with constant judgment about whether she was in decline and needed more supervision and an increase in fees. Sterling Heights does not have medical personnel. As time passed and she did decline she needed a helper to remind her to take her pills. A Home Helper company has an office in the complex. For an additional fee they came to her apartment to remind her to take her pills which I set up in pill boxes. The manager was especially helpful in monitoring whether she needed more help. The activities were very stimulating and respectful of the intellect of the residents. I thought it was like being on a cruise. You choose what you want to do . If you don't want to participate, you can stay in your apartment. The food was good. Mealtimes were times to engage with fellow residents. The noon meal was especially important as a way to hear news from the management and a way for the management to have daily contact with the residents to evaluate their well-being. If I were to choose again, I would choose Sterling Heights.

The community and residents have been great here! My dad has plenty to do and they keep the facility clean and well maintained. I believe my dad enjoys the food, he has not complained yet. I find this community recommendable.

So far everything is working out pretty well. They are caring for my uncle very well. I really enjoy the activities they offer, there are many for him to choose from. The staff is great, they have been very helpful and kind. The food is great, he loves the food. Overall we are pleased with everything they have done for us.

The staff are friendly and communicate with me well. I think the community is on top of being clean. My mom has activities offered to her at this facility. Her meals are good most of the time. Everything has been okay and I'd surely recommend this place.

The community is peaceful, calm and has a good aura. The food is delicious and they have a lot going on. I have made some good friends already. The staff are very pleasant and polite. I would recommend this community to family and friends.

We are doing fine here, it a nice community. We have a lovely casita. It is a very well-kept community. The staff is wonderful, they are very understanding and accommodating. There are activities offered for us to try when we are ready. We are very pleased with the food. Everything is working out very well and I would recommend it.

We are pleased with this community and everything they have done for us. I know my mother is safe and she is in good hands. This is a pleasant community. They do a good with making sure everything is well-kept and clean. She stays very busy with all the activities they offer. They have a good staff, they are pretty responsive. She is pleased with the food, they serve nice meals. She is receiving great care and I would recommend it.

This is a lovely community, I would give them the highest ratings on everything. They do an excellent job of keeping the community well maintained. The area where the community is located is very nice as well. They have an outstanding staff, they are very attentive and responsive to my concerns. They offer great activities daily. They serve great food, the meals are lovely. I can't wait to start my journey here.

My aunt and uncle are doing great at this community. They really like it here. The community and their living space is pretty well-kept, no problem in that area. The staff is good, they are caring for them very well. They enjoy meals, and I've tried the food and it tastes good. My uncle enjoys the ice cream maker. Overall, everything is going well and I would recommend this community.

My grandmother is really enjoying this community. She is meeting a lot of new people and getting involved in the community. This is a very well-kept community, they also keep my grandma's room very nice and clean. The staff is good, they have been great to work with. There are activities offered daily. The food is good, we go and eat with her every Sunday and the meals are nice. I'am confident about the care she is receiving and I would recommend it.

What a wonderful place to call home. My 84 year old mom was not motivated living with a family member. No matter how much we tried to encourage her to be active and eat right she isolated herself and was not taking care of herself. She is a social butterfly and quickly adjusted by introducing herself to others and joining the activities to make friends. I think , depending on herself, she had to do things for herself as no one was around to do it for her. Mom has become stronger and is very happy with all the activities in the home. It's all included! I highly recommend the Magnolia Heights home and the staff are absolutely wonderful and attentive to everyone's needs.

I cannot say enough about how great this community has been for my mom. The entire staff is friendly and go above and beyond. When she first moved in the staff let us borrow furniture from one of the model apartments to make sure she liked it there before we moved in her own. The place is beautiful and they have a walkway outside for the residents. Our family has enjoyed more than one good meal here. I would recommend this community.

My mother absolutely loves this community and I'am very pleased. This is truly a great community with wonderful people. The community is very clean and well maintained. The staff is great, they are wonderful and very helpful. She is trying some new activities and meeting new people. She is able too maintain her independence and have access to help if she needs it. They have good rates and are caring for her very well. I would recommend it.
