It is being built now and will be updated. I don't think that they have Assisted Living at this location which is alright with me.

Overall the staff seemed nice. They did a nice job taking my mom and I on the tour and allowed us to have lunch with a recent resident. She was nice and seemed happy about being there. The residents didn't say hello or acknowledge us as much as other locations that we visited. Also since they are near capacity, we had to see an unfinished model and the actual apartment of a resident. Just seemed a little odd. Since all three meals are included in the price, it may be slightly out of Mom's budget.

They say they are still getting up and running but it is just not turning out the way they sold it, not quite following through with the things that were promised.

I am concerned about the changes since we are now part of Hawthorn. what I experience is poor food, less activities, especially musical groups - longer waits for meal service (even though they existed under the previous owners, but now even worse). if it wasn't so difficult to move, I would be out of here. difficult to move means starting over with friendships and the work of moving.

It seemed to me that there were less public gathering spaces here than at other places we toured. The choices in food were not as varied. The outdoor spaces not very attractive. And it was a poor location within the general area.

Our family had an in person tour and the individual giving the tour was just not very energetic and not very inviting, but we were able to eat a meal there and wow the food was very good.

I was not impressed with my virtual tour with Olympus Ranch.

You need to put a rating for food. If I did I would put 1 star. The food is terrible! When my mom was in the hospital, she mentioned where she lived and the doctor had heard many comments from people coming in from Salmon Creek on how awful the food is. It is very obvious that they are trying to cut corner with the food. If you think about it that’s a large portion of their day is sitting around the table conversing with one another and eating. What a disappointment. I love the people that live there, the people that clean the rooms, maintain the facility, etc. are wonderful.

I have resided at Olympus ranch for a few years. When I moved in, management was responsive to residents' needs. Recent changes have been made in local manager, executive chef and maintenance person. All changes have had negative impacts. Also, management now gives little information to residents. Monthly meetings between manager and residents are sporadic and no longer regularly held. New general manager practices nepotism in hiring.

I have lived in this facility for over four years. Until recently, it was well managed. For the last month, there has been no local manager on site. disorganization is rampant. Holiday Retirement seems not to care about the residents in this facility.

I have written several reviews for Magnolia Heights and as of this writing it continues to go down hill. We still continue to falter in the dining and kitchen area. In opinion it is not the kitchen personnel but the lady that handles the porches strings. If she does like, it goes. Christmas season was horrible. There wasn’t 1/2 as many decorations in the whole facility. The person blamed the past manger who supposably told them it wasn’t worth it and hard to clean up. Yep after the girl that started the decorating . We have tape that held the half [language removed] decoration on the mirrors at the very poorly run coffee station still suck all over it. Please if you come to visit please ask to be able to speak to several residents before you make up your mind. They better say you can’t This is not written because I have some kind of a grudge which do not have as I have been here for 4 years. Your tour will tell you 1/2 truths about the place

Please note: what may be discussed as a "deposit" is really a "community fee." My mother-in-law passed away earlier this year; 1/2 of the "deposit" was kept for the remainder of the month's rent, but the other 1/2 was not refunded because it's now termed a "community fee." My mother-in-law would've NEVER agreed to this.

I visited this community with my mother recently and if you are on a budget they have figured a way out to deliver services to their residents for a low cost. When I first spoke to the marketing rep she described the services as “cruise ship like”. Since my mother travels a lot on high end cruises she was disappointed to find a Carnival cruise. Very small apartments that reminded me of a motel room. A AC unit installed in the wall and a small fan to blow the air into the bedroom. Ceiling tiles throughout. Food delivered by cart in the dining room. I can go on but bottom line is this is a low end option for people on a budget. The people seem friendly but not a place for my mother.

I wrote a nice review of this facility back in December 2016. I had many nice things to say, but since then they have gone back to the months they first opened. It all stems from the Managers, not the asst. managers. We are going back to loosing good employees both quitting and fired and it is noticed by the residents that truly care for the people here. It is the feeling that most of them would love to see them leave. They have tried their very best to be friendly with the residents, but always not that good to the people that work with and help us on their daily chores. Again, the above thoughts are of many residents not just mine.

This is an independent living community with amenities. It is an older building. The rooms were smaller and not well lite. They require a large up front fee. The staff person we dealt with was nice. The community was clean but not as open and light as I would have liked.

The Facilities very clean , staff is friendly , tasteful environment ,but the meals aren't as tasteful. It has been an ongoing problem . You would think it wouldn't be too complicated for the community that is there over 55 . Fresh fish and chicken dishes minimal spices very simple menus .

My father recently moved to Heatherwood. We found it to be clean and the people were friendly. However the food is awful. They seem to cater to the "younger" tenants serving mexican and spicy foods that my father who is in his 80's can't tolerate. We have spoken to the management on several occasions and nothing has been done. If they could fix the food I would give them a better review but for the money my dad pays and that includes 3 meals a day that he doesn't want to eat it's too much.

Liberty Heights used to be wonderful. My mother has lived there for a year and loved it. The new Management is awful. They are rude and not friendly at all. If this retirement community doesn't get rid of the new Management I will be moving my mother. HORRIBLY Managers! The Assistant Managers seem great. All the other staff is friendly and very helpful. Great cleaning staff, great Activities, ect. Managers have to go they are ruining a great building.
