I am currently a resident at Highpoint at Cape Coral and the experience has been great all except for one thing, the rent. It was raised $333 per month and it is too much for some folks. Ten residents have left, just in the last month. Those interested in this facility should know that a large increase is coming yearly.

I really like this place and I would love to live here. I have heard from several people that [name removed] does also. I hope she's keeping it clean. The cost is amazingly low for all of the amenities this facility offers. Trumbull and Mahoning County's facilities offer much less for so much more. There is no close comparison .

The staff is very caring. Several staff members, including caregivers and nurses have approached me, asking how I think my dad is doing and is there anything I think they could do to help him feel more at home. They have also been careful to monitor my dad and update me on any changes to his condition and what plans they have to address issues.

I toured a few facilities for my sociable dad and when I toured The Crossings at Riverchase, I knew that I did not have to look any further. Everything about it is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they go above and beyond. The apartments are very nice and comfortable and the activities are amazing. My dad goes to the exercise room every morning and then he reads newspapers in the lovely and well furnished library. He enjoys visiting in the beautiful lobby in front of the cozy electric fireplace. He looks forward to happy hour on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons where they have entertainment and delicious snacks. Friday is bingo and there are also cards, playing pool, weekly outings, etc. The food is homemade and a culinary experience to behold. The dining room is very nice and they also have different nights where they celebrate a theme such as ball park food, Italian night, etc. There are too many positives to list and no negatives that I have found.

The staff at Sycamore Trace really cares about their elderly clients. They are easy to work with and go out of their way to make this work under what are often stressful situations. The food is good, the staff has been together for many years, and the facility is homey and clean. They are super accommodating and will take great measures to help with the adjustment.

Everyone is engaging and gives a family type atmosphere. Close to home and the family, happy and engaging atmosphere.

It was a wonderful place. From all nurses to staff everything was just great. I chose the facility because it was close to home and very clean and felt comfortable when we checked it out. Was not disappointed.

There is both a newer floor mgr., and an activities director. The floor mgr. Is available by text and always responds promptly. Ill text him that the resident has an appt and they make sure he is ready.

My experience with the community has been very positive. They call me directly when any issues arise, and they keep me informed of care needs. The residents are kept appropriately active and are well cared for by the staff. I chose Senior Lighthouse because the dementia care wing looked clean, the care staff were all well engaged with the residents, and management was helpful in answering questions about care levels, rooms, and the entry process. The price was excellent for the high quality of care.

I would recommend it to others. I told my mom that if I can live in a place like Cascade Heights when I am old I will be very happy. We picked this community because it was very good. Residents were all very positive about it.

Every person on the staff that we interact with is beyond amazing. They made us feel welcomed and provided the reassurance Mom needed in making this life change. They continue to exceed all expectations. The move in was smooth, but we did work with Trading Places and [Name removed] handled everything. Mom is enjoying the people, food, activities and the overall experience. We could not be more pleased. We absolutely recommend The Crossings at Riverchase.

Pleasantly and gratefully surprised! The dining room seemed amazing. They are genuinely for their staff and the residents. The apartments and the grounds are very nice! The amenities and activities offered are carried and the transition - so easy. I'm very excited for Mom.

Cascade Heights is a great place! 25 years from now if it is still good, we may have to go here! The staff is super friendly and awesome Just walking around the place. You can see all of the people that live there seem very happy. The apartments are fabulous, full kitchen. His mom actually has the two bedroom. She turned one of the rooms into a dining room, which looks great a screened in porch patio on a third floor new appliances, stainless steel plenty of closet space everywhere. The place feels more like a resort than assisted-living. The full apartments are fabulous. Plenty of space storage and a full kitchen so many activities happy hours, music live music we can't say good things. And his mom loves the food which was a complaint at her her previous place in Ocala plus she didn't have even a kitchenette let alone full kitchen and she's paying $[removed] less here for more than double the space and so many more amenities

The move in process is professional. The staff is kind and caring. I would recommend Maris Pointe for memory care.

Our objective was to find a place for my 95 year old mother with the type of dementia that still allowed her to think rationally, but was incapable of retaining any new information, even during a brief conversation. She knows us all, but can't remember where she lives, how she got there or why she is staying in this place (her home of 26 years). Her only daughter is her primary caretaker and she is getting overwhelmed at times with the constant phone calls and care needs. We selected Long Leaf because it was a beautiful location, very well managed, close to her primary care giver and very accommodating to our many requests. We withdrew because we had difficulty letting go enough to let Long Leaf adapt her (and us) to their routine in caring for the several other elderly Memory care patients at their facility. It's a fine line to walk for families between letting go enough without entirely abandoning their loved one to institutional care. People in Memory care need an advocate to help the institution provide the care our loved ones need. We found Long Leaf very willing to work with us within the limits of their caregiving. We simply couldn't let go enough. Reasons we chose Longleaf initially are listed below: - the place is very clean, spacious and we'll appointed. - the corridors are wide and have hand rails throughout. - the staff is kind and very considerate. One night my mother was very agitated about being in an unfamiliar place and one attendant took her to the common area, talked and sang to her till she calmed down enough to get to bed and sleep. - every concern we expressed was promptly acknowledged, and when possible addressed.

My Mom has passed now, but the experience that we had while she was there was above and beyond what I had expected. I would highly recommend Highpoint to anyone looking for a place for Assistant Living for their parents, it is truly the best!

The people were very friendly and the activities are awesome. It's also quite beautiful, nestled in the Chagrin Valley, right near the Falls.

My loved one has been very happy with Timberdale Trace and I think that they've been great as well. I would recommend this facility to others.

My Dad is a resident at Palmetto Landing. The move-in process went very smooth and they had extra 'touch' points with Dad to ensure that he was ok. They understood this was a big change in his life. Btw, he refers to it as 'home' now. There was a lot of paperwork for me to sign initially, but it is important to ensure that all POA and other things were clear. He likes all of the meals, generous portions, enough that intentionally stopped breakfast because he was gaining too much weight. The weekend meals are very very basic, sandwiches, but that is not a problem for him. The staff truly engage with my Dad. They, in small incremental ways, get to know him. They encourage him to use his 'call button' when he has a need. Housekeeping, occasionally we will see something that needs cleaning outside of scheduled days and they don't hesitate to take care of it right then. Communication with the family is very good. Although we did have one weekend that newer staff were present and did not follow certain protocols, but primary leaders were quick to say that they would make sure that training on the procedure would be repeated. They have a GP that makes rounds twice a month. I love that. I recommend taking advantage of that and switching to use him. Also, his PA is marvelous! Additionally, we use the medication management service. That gives me great relief, it is daily and is administered correctly. I would recommend Palmetto Landing to others!

Great place. My Dad enjoyed the activities. His unit was a good size. Great value for the money. Highly rated on the Place for Mom site and close to home.
