My mom recently will have to make a move to a memory care facility. I toured Timberdale Trace and was impressed with the personnel and how welcoming they were. I got to see the entire place and all the things that will be available to mom.

My mother has been a resident at The Oaks at Flower Mound for over a year and it has been a great year due to the facility, care, meals, activities and very helpful staff... but the level of care she received following her recent fall and broken hip truly exceeded all expectations. The entire team has been a godsend during this challenging time, and we cannot recommend them highly enough. We want to specifically recognize two exceptional individuals: [names removed] Their dedication to my 88-year-old mother's recovery has been remarkable. [names removed] consistent encouragement and specialized support have been crucial in getting her back on her feet and well on her way to normal. The rehabilitation process can be daunting, but thanks to the tireless efforts of the in-house care/rehab staff, my mother feels motivated and cared for every step of the way. The entire facility provides a warm, supportive, and safe environment for its residents. Truly a 5 star community.

Took the tour with [name removed] and he gave me nothing but a positive experience. I definitely feel I would be very happy living here. I couldn’t see as much as I wanted to because there was a lot of snow on the ground. But what I did see it was very nice.

What we like the most about the community is that the staff are extremely attentive. However, the hospice experience within facility not positive, unfortunately.

Visiting my mother and knowing she so well cared for and happy keeps me at ease. This place is well maintained with a very courteous staff! They always go above and beyond. I’m thankful to know I don’t have to worry!

Sycamore Trace has a great team. The Executive Director has been with the company for over 15 years. [name removed] has been with the community for over 7 years. It is a very warm and welcoming community. I was very pleased with my visit.

So far my parents are settling in nicely. The staff have been great and the apartment is nice too. It would be nice to have zero steps into the apartment for any future builds. Also true ADA bathrooms. For future builds [name removed] is THE BEST! I cannot say enough good about her!

Reason: the most wonderful, caring, and compassionate staff there could be. The facility is always clean, does not smell, is constantly presenting activities, and encourages the residents to be active.

The staff is truly second to none. My mother is so well-loved and cared for at Vernon Woods. The chef and his team are absolutely top tier—because my mom sometimes has difficulty eating, they consistently go above and beyond to ensure she receives nutritious, appealing meals that meet her needs. The residents are friendly and welcoming, the activities are engaging, and the transportation for errands is a tremendous help. As a busy local physician, my mom was often home alone, and I constantly worried about her being isolated, not eating enough, or injuring herself while transferring from her wheelchair. Those worries are gone. Vernon Woods has given our family peace of mind, and my mother a true community. I highly recommend Vernon Woods.

We love it there. The staff is friendly. There is so much activity. They have things going on all day. Including exercise. Art. Games. Tv shows movies live music and much more . There is an amazing stylist for hair. It's all good and we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

Robin Way has been fantastic! My mom loves it there and they do a good job of taking care of her. She loves the food. It has been a blessing for me to not have to worry about her living alone.

I would rate all of the categories a 5. The staff is very caring and positive attitude towards their work. The food is great. The facility is always clean.

I think the food is average the library is a room full of books all over it would be great to have someone organize it with a person in there certain hours to help and a few comfortable chairs for them to sit and have a book club. Just to meet others Also. The pool is never used. Physical therapy could use the water for those that would be beneficial for MM or have events around pool evenings

The community is so welcoming and warm. My experience was wonderful and accommodating. I heard the meals are delicious. But I was not able to par-taste. Rooms and bathroom were clean and accessible.

I have no complaints! Anyone looking for support will find it here. My daughter picked this place. She knows. She's worked at places. She knows and made a good choice for me.
