I've been at other places. They really care here. They like the people you can tell. I mean it. When you live somewhere you can tell that sort of thing. These are really good people.

Timberdale is an amazing place, all of the employees are very caring and compassionate.

We have just helped our mother ( my mother-in-law) make the transition from independent living in another facility to assisted at Vista Veranda. A medical crisis (which has since been resolved) just prior to the move made the last month very stressful- the staff at Vista Veranda have put their arms around. Betty and our family and welcomed us gently into this community. We are so grateful and so far are impressed by the staff and caring atmosphere.

I love it here with all my friends. They take good care of us all and the food is great.

Mom lives here. I'm very impressed by her care. She gained 20 pounds back in just a short time. She is taken great of by the staff. Mom loves the staff and they are great to her.

Vista Veranda gave our loved one much care (professional). Our loved one felt she was in good hands. She would often say to me she got the care. They take good care of me. "Everyone was so friendly" What surprised us in how everyone knew her name.

The location of Vernon Woods to our family is great. It is all around just a wonderful facility and I would highly recommend them to others looking.

So far all has been great! My dad has been here for about 45 days. I have been impressed with all aspects of his care. All folks have been very helpful to my dad and me. Thanks!

I would recommend this community for your loved one. When I went there two of my loved ones also had family there and the first thing that they told me is that we were going to love it. Just to have that feeling and to be at ease made my day. The staff are excellent with the residents and go above and beyond.

Our family had an in person tour and we really liked this community, it is located in the same county where our loved one grew up, but unfortunately at the time they did not have any available rooms.

We have been very impressed and pleased with this community from the beginning of our tour. Based on the feedback we get from our loved one she is really happy there and happy with the meals and dining. She even has a group of ladies she likes to sit and eat with. There are some things she is not able to eat and they do a great job knowing her needs, wants and watching out for things she cant have. Also what we hear is that the activities are great, she even surprised us with things she is getting involved in. Based on our experience we would recommend them to others.

This community was a fine place. The tour was great but did not allow my loved one to smoke without a long distance walk to get to the smoking area. It was more expensive than what we were looking for.

Everything is brand new at this community. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. They always go over and beyond for my loved one. They have activities everyday for the residents to choose from to keep them busy.

I felt good about the community. We would have gone there but the other community we went with offered more activities and it was a little higher in price than the other choice.

My mother-in-law is not liking the food quality right now and the other residents feel the same way also. Other than this the facility is great. My loved one did state that some of the outside trips that they take she would like to go to different stores and different places. She would also like to schedule dog grooming or have a dog groomer come in to the facility. My loved one had an emergency and me and my husband were listed as emergency contacts and we were never notified that there was an issue or an emergency. My loved ones alert system also was not working when this emergency happen. When we returned we let them know that the batteries were not working. We reached out to the manager about our concerns with this and we never got a call back on this. The facilities are great and the neighbors are great also.

We moved my mom into Cascade Heights [date removed] and she has never been happier. She tells me all the time she feels safe and everyone is so nice. She was allowed to take her cat which was a must have. They have a lot of activities and she participates in a few but even when she is in her room, she is happy, comfortable and safe. The staff checks in on her and we still have companion care that comes in daily for a few hours which she loves as well. Bottom line, moving my mom to Cascade Heights gave both me and my mom peace of mind.

The community is very neat and clean and the staff is all very nice and helpful. Communication between the staff and the family were very good and informative. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

We had a very good first impression with Highpoint, they were so responsive, always checking in with my parents to see how their decision process was going but never made them feel pressured. The in house activities given the circumstances are actually great which is very surprising. The residents can be as busy as they want, always something going on. The meals aren't awful, but we have heard couple of times from our parents that it is a hit or miss. One of the biggest things we like about Highpoint. is that our parents are safer here then being on their own house and risking getting hurt or falling. Also the social opportunities is huge for them.

The community is nice, and clean. They are willing to work with the residents. The staff are accessible to speak to and answer any questions or concerns I may have about my loved one. Crafts, singing, exercises, and more are available for the residents to choose from for activities.

We chose Crescent Wood because of the value for the money and they are a non-profit. I think the friendliness of the staff and the way they make residents and family feel is amazing. As long as mom is comfortable, I am comfortable. They offer a lot of activities for residents to participate in. She raves about the food, they are chef prepared meals. The experience has been terrific so far and I would recommend to others looking.
