Things at this facility have been good. They're a bit understaffed (like every other place in the country right now), but the staff that they do have here are excellent. They're very in tune with their residents. The Activities Director is awesome! She's so positive and friendly with the residents, she's amazing. Housekeeping is done often and they keep my loved one's room very clean. Communication with the family is excellent, I call often and they're always great about speaking to me and getting me the information that I need. One HUGE plus here: they allow you to bring your animals in during visits. I bring my dog with me at least twice a week and my loved one really truly enjoys that. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

It is a beautiful place that is in a great location. The people are all are so friendly and helpful. The room sizes are very nice and spacious. I would definitely recommend Sumter Senior Living to others.

They have people there that help them anytime they need it it's really quite well run. And I guess the improvement could be, maybe the quality of food but I guess we get what we pay for because I don't think she hast to pay too much. I'm very satisfied with them. I would recommend them.

The staff is really great for the most part. The food is okay, and the other residents I've talked to say it's really good. For me, it's repetitive but decent. I don't like that they charge you for takeout / picking up a meal yourself to take to your apartment. Although I suppose that's their way of encouraging people to eat in the dining room. They have plenty of activities on the schedule if you choose to participate. The apartment is pretty good. It's expensive. Compared to other places I looked at, I'd say it's on the middle to the high end of the cost spectrum. But for the most part, it's a pretty good place to go to if you need it.

This is a new and clean community and our top choice. However, it was more than we wanted to spend.

We thought it was a really nice community and we would recommend this community to other families. The only reason we did not give them a 5 star overall is that we had trouble scheduling transportation to and from doctor visits and medication management.

Everything is great except for the food. The food is constantly cold or burnt. Residents had a meeting about it, but nothing has changed so far . It's been a few weeks.

Staff has been great to work with and friendly. Cleaning staff didn't allow my aide to borrow any cleaning supplies to clean up an accident. Still waiting to be set up with physical therapy.

This community is friendly and helpful. They made the process of moving easier. [name removed] in the dining room is amazing.

The sales staff is very warm and friendly. They came to my house even though I am far away, to help me get things signed. Also helped me set up movers and TB test. She even brought me flowers.

Everyone is pretty nice. Like everywhere they promise things, and they didn't happen or won't be fixed. The lunch service is a mess. There are not enough competent staff members to help out. Some have quit. The menu is kind of repetitious, but it's probably hard to come up with food most everyone will eat. Some of it is very salty which was surprising. They do have several choices for outings so that is nice. It's kept topically clean, but their room was not clean when they moved in. It's ok. It's fine. It's not fantastic . It's affordable.

The biggest issue is I think my dad probably required more care than the level they put him at. They put him at a level two, and he had a lot of trouble getting his medication. We pulled him out of there for that reason. A lot of things were out of commission due to the hurricane, so it's hard to judge everything else like the dining experience and activities.

We picked this community over other places, because it was newer and not dated, didn't have a wait list. Others had a year wait. It has been great. Lots of activities, very well organized

My loved one thinks the food is okay, it's satisfactory. With comparing other places, the value for the money is good. They have been very friendly, and willing to help solve any problems. The communication, with the billing could be improved. Other than that, everything else has been fine, and it has been a good experience.

I like that this facility is newer and in good shape. I also like that my mom participates in the activities and has made friends. I have and will continue to recommend this facility to friends and family.

The meals are server with beer or wine. It was further from family than I wanted. They have a modest outdoor pool and there aren't much else to the grounds.

There should be more transparency with costs, available option, and staff credentials. Who is the staff and what's their position? The staff is quick to respond to requests and accommodating last minute requests.

this community is well run, welcoming and lovely. Residents are friendly - employees caring and well trained. Our needs are happily met. We have so few complaints they are not worth mentioning. The entire facility is geared to the happiness of the residents. We are so happy to be here
