They have care services through a 3rd party. This is a good option for independent living. I would recommend this community to others for their loved ones. The staff is friendly and caring. This has been a good location for the family. The food is good and high quality for my loved one. The variety could be improved over time. There are special events and meals for holidays as well. The transportation is okay that is provided.

My loved ones started in the independent living section in a two bedroom unit that was bright and cheerful. The management team made the move-in process seamless and even gave the reluctant pair the option to move out if they did not like it. The staff was always there to assist while letting them maintain their independence. Sadly their memories faded and they made the transition to Memory care in close consultation with me. The move was seamless and the care team made sure the pair remained together in a two bedroom apartment. Similar to the independent living section, the staff makes the difference! While residents are in various stages of memory loss, they make a point to to meet the needs of each resident, offering various activities and mind stimulation appropriate to their memory state. They also make a point to get to know each resident and their families personally, creating a family environment. Overall, I feel very comfortable with my loved ones living here.

The Highlands is not a brand new facility, they could use some updated in a few spots which they are working on. Currently they have started updating the fitness area and pool area. The facilities are very nice and as to be expected. It seems like they are doing everything and have the tools to get things done. Our loved one does say something the meals are a hit or miss.

Everyone is very friendly. This is an older community. They sometimes have a hard time with sinks draining. The food is plentiful, delectable, and good here. They also have anytime dining when available. I came here because of the amenities. There is dancing, a library, a theater, a gym, fruit bar, and more for the residents to participate in. The coffee stand is good.

More activities are starting back up again after covid. Check it out and see if it's a good fit for your family member. It's a good fit for my loved one in memory care. The room is very small.

This community was too independent and not enough care in house for my loved one.

I think they do a very good job of cleaning, they do clean our apartment once a week and do an excellent job. The staff here are amazing, especially the waitresses, they are exceptional and call everyone by name. We are not too involved in activities, my wife is involved in a spiritual group and she really likes that. They try really hard on the food, but it is repetitious each week. This was definitely one of the best facilities that we toured. I would recommend them to others looking, we are happy here.

to anyone considering, I would advise you to make sure you have a lot of money, as Northgate Park is not cheap to live at or move into. assisted living communities can be expensive, and Northgate cost no more than any other place. the staff are pretty concerned about the people who live here. there was some confusion about a few things initially, but I just considered those to be growing pains. overall, my experience here has been good so far.

The people are very inclusive. Everybody really tries very hard to help each other out. So it's a good place to be if you're all alone. I like my apartment and have plenty of space here And I like that there was no buy-in to be part of the community. I think it's expensive, but they do a really good job and I am happy here.

I really like this community and the assisted living community they need to do some more work on. My loved one was really bad and they didn't deliver food and I didn't really feel like it was an assisted living floor in my opinion. I just felt like she needed more help than what they were giving my loved one. The staff were really wonderful they just need to work on the assisted living part because it is not really assisted at all. The residents that I interacted with here seem to really like it here.

This community is good as anything in town and works out for my loved one. Some of the staff are really good and some of them are not. My parents wanted to stay in the room and I felt like they did not do a good job of encouraging the residents to come out. From what I seen there were games, and movies and more but nothing outside of the community and very stimulating for the residents to do. I just think that they could have more activities.

Upscale and multi-story community. It was too far from church and this was the downfall.

We had a good tour experience with Brookdale Lake Shore Drive, but we were looking for a place that offered a little more independence than they did

We thought this community did a great job taking care of our loved one. They were always very conscientious when it came to the level of care our loved one needed, she was always clean and well dressed. She was vegetarian and we always appreciated at meal times there was always a vegetarian options. We do wish there was more activities during the evening.

I think they have changed general management in the facility since we moved in. One of the things my mom really wanted was the spa baths and the guy that showed us around said it would be no problem, but that has yet to happen. That has been the only disappointment. I think they could benefit from a new resident orientation program. Overall it is a very friendly, nice, and clean facility.

It's a beautiful facility. The amenities are fairly good. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They're very kind and caring. I just don't feel they're staffed well enough to deal with memory care, especially regarding activities.

We chose Brookdale Springs Mesa because of the beautifully landscaped grounds, it looked very resort like and we liked that. There was really no orientation in the beginning, when we moved him we were on our own. I think they could benefit from an orientation program for new residents. He does like that they do really get the residents to chime in on their likes and dislikes which makes them feel empowered. What he does not like is there is no set time for housekeeping, so there are always people popping in and out and that creates a lack of privacy. Overall I would recommend them to other families looking.

We chose Point Pleasant because we needed assisted living included and [name removed] is here to help if you need it. If you are in this vicinity, it is in a nice location. I do know that the food has gone downhill since we moved her in. Overall I would recommend to others looking.

This seems to be a pretty decent place for my friend. I would recommend my family go here if they had to. The staff seem to really care and it is a smaller community.
