She tells me all the time she is very happy with her place. Residents are great she has met a lot of people. Access to library & salon is great. The only issue was it took her a year & 1/2 to get in & she wanted a balcony but didn't get it she just took the next available place. She does have 1.5 baths, & a den. Very roomy.

The staff works together to create appropriate activities for the residents. Heritage Oaks is open to having the higher functioning members of memory Care join the assisted living side for music, dancing wine, Wednesdays, etc.. I'm not always impressed with the level of consistent bathing for my mom. However, when I report my concerns, they do their best to address the issues I bring up.

The facility and staff are great. Apartment sizes and amenities offered to residents are good as well. I would recommend Augustine Landing.

Staff is very friendly, there's activities but there could be more in my opinion. The food is pretty good, and they do have special meals for holidays. Apartment size is average sized. Staff does make sure the tenants are getting meals and generally safe, but they do not have a licensed nurse on staff. An independent nurse is available but was incapable of helping my father.

My father says he is very happy at Portside at Grande Dunes. The people are extremely caring and responsive. Enjoys happy hour and exercise classes.

The staff is good - there are a lot of activities for residents who have an interest in them. Community is a good mix of independent and assisted living.

There have been a lot of changes with staff coming and going. There medication dispensary could use work. Otherwise they are great and my mother is happy there. I would recommend

Excellent staff, very easy to work with, great options, pleasant environment, great value. My aunt and now my father live here - only complaint is food does not meet expectations; challenges even when providing feedback. We supplement with grocery, but my father can no longer cook, and feel it should be included in cost.

What can I say about my Town Village experience? I have found that the on site management team tries to make life here as pleasant as possible. They listen to complaints and suggestions and make changes where possible. They are limited by outside management rules and or financial considerations. On the plus side they offer transportation every day except Saturday. On Sundays they have transportation to three different churches even though there might be just one person attending a particular church. There is entertainment but most isn't to my liking, or I've heard them over and over. There are many activities offered. Life here has changed since I came in [date removed] as we have more and more residents who really don't meet the definition of what I would call "independent living". That isn't just residents aging in place, but new residents are coming in already in a definite state of severe decline. I enjoy the pool exercise class and came to Town Village primarily because of the pool.

Staff was great touring the property and getting everything set for moving in. The staff has been friendly and professional. One thing that would have been helpful is a booklet letting the resident know meal times and procedure for filling out menus, activities and how to sign up for them, how housekeeping works, etc so resident can refer back to it as needed.

Sometimes you have to be involved to get certain tasks done, i.e., apartment cleaning. The room my parent is in has required spurts of maintenance tickets.

Staff and management are great, very caring. Beautiful facility. Gave a '4' due to food not being consistent as far as tastefulness and quality.

Staff is friendly, it's in a beautiful and ideal location, beautifully decorated, SC house calls and visits, activities for everyone, transportation to appointments, etc. It allows my Mom to be independent while still feeling safe. Everything has been wonderful minus the food really needs improvement

Be patient and don't expect perfection. Nothing is perfect. However, the staff care and are working hard to make your mom/dad/loved one comfortable and happy. The staffs personalities may not match with your loved one but don't be judgmental, weigh all things as fair as possible.

The facility and staff are very concerned and focused on resident needs. They work very hard to provide a happy and active environment. The food is good and they were the only facility we found with really nice cottages ( with yards for pets ) as well as apartments for easy access to facilities.

I think it's a great facility I would live there if I could I just couldn't convince my mom to stay because she's not social and wants to be waited on hand and foot by her kid. I would tell others that they can feel comfortable in knowing that their loved ones are truly cared for living there

Staff are very helpful and friendly. Plenty of activities and outings for the residents. The grounds in the front of the building are well maintained but not in the back of the building. Sidewalks need power washing, path lighting needs new bulbs, very little landscaping. The biggest complaint is about the food. Some items served cold (like a cheeseburger!!), portions are very small. Residents are very vocal about the food. I keep my family member's apartment well stocked for that reason. I feel that he is very safe there, so no concerns about safety.

The staff is friendly. However huge turn over.

This community is clean brightly lit and friendly. Yes, we would recommend Northgate Park to other families based on the experience so far
