Only negative really would be the meals. I feel many of the options are not taking into consideration the conditions many seniors could have. Example too salty with no low salt options. Oh and of course [price removed] per month price hike per year. Is a bit extreme. Completely understand rising costs but [removed]k per year 10 to 12% it then makes it difficult to afford to stay. It's a shame.

The facility was clean and updated. The staff was friendly and helpful. We found out what services were offered. We had a good tour, questions answered and were able to see which units were available.

The faculty and staff are super friendly and actually take the time to talk to residents. They’re easy to approach and make the place feel welcoming. It’s nice seeing them interact with everyone and really care about the community.

Recently they hired more staff.. more CNAs... much better now. It is very clean, with beautiful facilities.

However, cost can be high when adding care levels. For average people probably out of price range. Don't care fir current administrators here. Their focus seems to be on money more than quantity of care issues. Facility itself is nice with new upgrades. Food is some improvement needed.

Visits frequently,the staff especially the ones who attending the front desk,are very kind and friendly.Front Area clean also Dining room.Visted today,after snow and ice storm I don't think the parking lot,driveway,walkway,we're cleared enough for the safety of the residents and visitors.I realize it was an difficult clearing process due to the Ice.But more should have been done.

Staff is excellent in respect to taking care of my mom. Their good chef left a month or 2 ago so the food with the new chef isn't all that great. As far as the Director of the place and the head of the staff. I think they should have been more concerned with an incident my mom had as far as checking to see how she was doing afterward. But nurses and staff are all very attentive and helpful.

I think this is a good fit for my mom.

Thank you [names removed] for scheduling and providing a tour of Vista Pointe. We can not place our mother in this facility at this time until all remodeling and repairs have been completed. We do not want her to breathe in construction dust. Paint fumes. Etc.

My brother and sister recently toured the Highlands so I am reporting on what they told me. They were welcomed and were struck by how friendly the staff and residents are. They found the facilities attractive.

I believe that every family needs to be an advocate for their loved one. Dementia patients need to have someone to help them through their journey. My biggest concern is the cost.

Easy process, all were very helpful in the transition. Great place for seniors that are independent and do not require assistance.

The facility is clean, the staff are friendly, my mother in assisted living there says "they treat you like family." She has been there for approximately 6 weeks now.

The move in process was pretty disorganized (took 2 weeks to turn on cable TV, things like that) but the facility and care/dining teams are great! I would recommend to others.

While the sales associate spent a lot of time with me and was thorough is showing the various areas and explained the many amenities I felt like I was being pressured into making a quick decision on a unit with a special price with a couple of added discounts. Since my existing lease doesn’t run out until [date removed] I wasn’t ready and feel I wanted to see other places. There were instances of chipped paint o many doors, a stained shower stall in one of the units shown me. The floor plans were relatively small. Since I have a small dog outdoor access from the apartment is important to me. That was not available.

I like the various activities they have in addition to providing food and place to stay.

The Shores at Clear Lake has been a good place for Mom. The staff and caregivers are great. The in house therapy has been very good for Mom. They have lots of activities and a good atmosphere in the facility.

I love the people who work at the front. They are very positive and friendly. They help my mom a lot. I love the quickness with which maintenance fixes issues. I am grateful that mom is driven where she needs to go. I don't like that my mom is made to feel rushed in the restaurant if she doesn't get there right at the beginning. I don't care for the attitude of many of the wait staff when my family eats with my mom.

That was the first time I had ever visited one of those places and stayed for a little while. I enjoyed my stay and there was plenty to do. I would consider it again when I'm ready

As far as activities I only know that they have a game room with the television and they do activities during the day with the staff, and I can't speak to the dining because I have never eaten there. From what I'm being told, she doesn't really leave her room so they bring the food to her and she has been eating it. I have not heard any negative feedback about the staff. It takes a very special person to deal with all of those personalities. I'm sure it's very difficult on certain days. I would definitely recommend Mira Loma to others. This is based on our families experience and the friendly staff and the comfort in knowing that she is being taken care of. And is in a safe place.
