If your loved one is mobile and independent this community is located close to lots of shops. The community transportation could be better. They take everyone to different locations so the rides can be very long. I would recommend this community to others.

We chose Prestige Assisted Living because it was physically closest to us and we have lots of mutual friends who are here. They are very compassionate about taking care of each of the residents and it has been a great experience so far. They have us fill out menus in the morning and what they do serve is well done, their salads are to die for. I would recommend to others looking.

For sure it's a great place for your family member to be. They have socialization with the activities, they have balanced meals, plus they have choices if they don't like what's on the menu that day. My loved one likes that. When they're in the dining room, the staff is very accommodating to anything the residents want or need. They're just very good, and we've been pleased with them. It took a little while for her to get used to it, but she does call it home there now. The staff are all wonderful, very loving, and very caring. It's been very nice for her. And we like the fact that she has an apartment as opposed to just a room. She doesn't participate in a lot of the activities, but she really likes when they do movies and musical events the most. They give the residents a medical button to push if they need anything. They've been helpful to my loved one if she doesn't feel good on a particular day. They'll check in on her, and if she doesn't come down to dinner they'll make sure she's okay. We've experienced all good things. They did raise the prices this year. I tried to negotiate a little bit, but they weren't able to budge due to Covid. But I've heard they've done that in the past, so maybe next year.

WE chose this facility. [name removed] was a pleasure to work with. The place is beautiful. There is nothing lacking at this facility including a pool. Love the Stove and microwave and dishwasher and full fridge!. Very clean, well laid out. Looks like a great place to live. Windows everywhere including the Apartment make for a very bright and lively feeling about the facility. Many activities and places to go within the facility. Exciting place.

The setting is very noisy due to it being by the highway. The staff and Brookdale are wonderful. I have no complaints about staff. Everyone is helpful and cheerful. The community allows delivery of food for an additional cost. I feel the administrator fosters a nice and caring atmosphere here. He seems very caring anytime you talk to him. The staff seems content to work here.

My husband and I moved in to Heritage Oaks in 2017 the first week that it opened. I can not say enough about this place. Not only is it a beautiful place but the staff and all the employees here are great.

I have lived here for over 4 years. We recently had a large turnover in management which was needed, and all the staff, both remaining long timers and new, are professional, caring, devoted to quality service, and reflect that in their daily interaction with the residents both in the Inn and in the adjacent cottages. The front office is cheerful, competent, and extremely forthcoming. The food is excellent, and varied, and available throughout the day. The campus is gorgeous, the cottages are full size homes. In particular, the campus is within walking distance of the town of Orono, the University of Maine campus a few minutes drive, and the bustling city of Bangor, with its international airport, 3 miles away via highway. There's also a full course golf club within walking distance. This place has it all! I anticipate living here till the end of my life, and are comforted with the knowledge that there are assisted living and memory care facilities should I find myself in need of them.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. It was perfect for my loved one and what they needed. Moving into the community has been the best thing to happen to her. The food has been delivered to the door of the resident due to the pandemic. The food is good according to my loved one. The dining room just opened back up to residents.

This community was very nice and they had a very good virtual tour. We just needed a community that was closer to home

I would highly recommend the community to others. The people that work there are a stand out to me. This is one of the affordable places, even being on Grand Dunes. They currently have rooms available for additional residents.

Moved Mums from CA to FL months ago. After a LONG flight, we finally pulled up in front of the Sheridan. The reception we received was warm and welcoming (in spite of COVID 19) although they made us put on protective gear first! The Memory Care Director, has been at the helm since then. Her professional and compassionate care has, literally, been a life saver: a while ago, she noticed Mums was walking a little off kilt. She had the doctor examine her right away and was found to have several blood clots. The doctor had her admitted to hospital stat. They were able to catch the clots in time and administer proper care. Mums was back at the Sheridan at Lakewood Ranch in just a few days! Unfortunately I am hundreds of miles away, but MCD has solved that dilemma too: The FaceTime guru (and my “personal angel”) sets up FaceTime meetings for Mums and me at least twice a week?? Huge kudos to this lovely Director, her entire staff. Also, it is a grand , stately facility that it’s awesome!

In Memphis, any place a step up is a huge increase in price, and any place a step down isn't any place you'd want your loved one to be. Town Village is perfectly priced for what they're doing. They're exceptionally user friendly. They're very responsive to both family and residents. They really strive to develop a community atmosphere, making sure the residents have plenty of options for things to do and plenty of freedom. It' a really wonderful place. The only remote downside is the food. With dietary restrictions, the kitchen is not as responsive as you would hope, but there's plenty of quantity and quality is pretty good.

The community is in a good part of town and the community feels safe. The communication is good between the staff and the residents. They keep us well informed and up to date. I would recommend this community to others

I have been working at this community for approx 3 years. LOVE LOVE LOVE my co-workers and even more our residents. Very rewarding.

This is a great place, and I would encourage you to go visit and see if it meets your loved ones needs. They've been really great to my loved one. The staff is very friendly, and they've just been amazing. They do everything they can to make my loved one feel welcome, and they take excellent care of her. They call me and let me know if my loved one needs something, which is especially important since I live out of state. They'll help her call me if she wants to talk to me. They've done an outstanding job.

I would recommend you to take a tour of the community. The communication at the time was the most difficult with the caregivers and management. All food was delivered to the resident's rooms in Styrofoam containers.

I love it here. I love the food (because I don't have to cook). We have lots of fun things to do, including bowling and bingo. The community is very friendly. The community is great with communication between the staff and the residents, and they keep us informed. You get a welcome basket when you move in also.

We chose The Arbors because I liked that they made a home visit and interacted with my father and seemed to be very genuine, caring individuals. The room sizes are very spacious. They have been great with communication, they send emails and phone calls when needed. I would actually stay here myself, it is a very nice facility. The meals here are chef prepared. They also have an independent living and assisted living on top of memory care. I would highly recommend.

I drive past this community almost every day . I will be honest from the outside I wasn't sure that it would be a good fit for my mom. I spoke to a very nice girl on the phone and decided to make an appointment for a tour. All I can say is that I'm glad I actually went inside . It was so lovely , warn and welcoming. Everyone was friendly and it just made me feel like I wouldn't mind sitting down and having a coffee with the people who live there. I could picture my mom here. I will be bringing her in for a look soon but take my advise and dont judge a book by its cover . What was inside was worth the visit
