Our Dad was not keen to move to Assisted Living but everyone at The Shores made him so welcome and gave us such great peace of mind. He has settled in really well and made many friends. He eats well, goes to activities and we know he is well cared for, plus they keep us informed what is happening and we can visit anytime. This was such a good move for our family

They were very helpful at this community. They were able to get me in and taken care of in three days. Everyone was friendly and made sure that my loved one was ready to go when we really needed it. He was there for a short time and we had to pay a community fee which I was not happy with.

They've been amazing. The place is always spotless, and their cleaning people clean the resident rooms as well, which is nice. It's a wonderful place, and they take good care of the residents. When my loved one was in the hospital, they took care of his cat. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond. There are tons of activities offered at the community as well.

This was a very nice community. They didn't have any vacancies, and this was a little too expensive for us.

The staff are really good with the residents. They have upheld their promises of care to us. My loved one enjoys and the dining room is nice. The bingo, happy hour and other games are some of the activities offered.

I appreciate all the hard work the team has been doing. I can see the positive changes and all the activity every time I visit my mom!

We chose Portside at Grande Dunes because it just felt the best and had the best vibe. The flow of the facility specifically for memory care is very well thought out and was not just added on later. They do offer both shared and private rooms. I would recommend them to others looking.

As a performer, I get to see retirement communities from a different perspective. I love a place that has residents energized and ready to get involved in activities and be active! That is what keeps them young!! I am so impressed with the many resources The Shores has, in their beautiful community, to help stimulate the mind and help their folks stay connected, enjoying their facility and new neighbors/family! My in-laws are 85 and 90. I would feel extremely blessed to know they were being cared for by the staff at this residence. There is a spirit of anticipation in the air...wondering what is coming next!! I love that!!

This was a beautiful community; however, it felt cold during the tour.

Thank you for all the love you showed my mom on her special day. From the beautiful cake, the wonderful decorations and the amazing singing , you sure did make her feel special. To FaceTime to sing to her and then receiving the video and pictures of the Shores family singing to her was priceless. I truly appreciate everything you all did on her birthday and every day for her!

I'm really impressed. Mom continues to rave about the meals. She says not only are they delicious, but seem a lot healthier, fresher, and she appreciates the “fancy touches” given to the presentation. Thanks for all your hard work to hire good people!

We are in daily contact with mom's home health nurse and she tells us the new Director is doing a great job - and we concur! Thanks for your kindness and patience and all you do for our mom

The community is wonderful. The staff are keeping me updated on my loved one. This makes me feel very comfortable about where she is. This is a great memory care community. They have an in house beautician. They have a variety of activities for the residents.

I thought the Sheridan at Lakewood Ranch was a nice place. I didn’t have any problem with the tour. That was the case with the several tours I went on, so I had a hard decision to make. I would have been satisfied with any of the ones I saw. I just found better pricing elsewhere.

The Prestige Community has welcomed my parents as individuals and as a couple to meet their needs and wants. Their individual needs are met by a medical team evaluation and followed through with a care plan for each parent. Their needs as a couple are met by assuring a safe living environment and a variety of social activities for couples. My experience with the staff has been pleasant, friendly and professional. They show an interest in and truly care for each individual.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a really good experience, but the community was much larger and we were concerned our loved ones would get lost or confused it a larger facility.

Please visit and see the difference of not so good experiences compared to great living. I went to a lot of communities and none were like this. When you walk in the staff always welcome you and you would never know you were in assisted living. My loved one has gained weight because she is eating again. Admin keeps in touch, they give us updates all the time. They treat us like family, you can text them and they will respond with whatever you need. Every staff member is openly ready to communicate. They have a lot of activities to participate in and they try to include everyone. They have field trips and my loved one is doing good here and I feel real safe. The day we moved I had to buy new clothes for her and they moved her and bathed her and got her ready and took her in.

My parents’ health and independence declined dramatically in a short time. They moved together to Prestige and the whole process from intake, settling in, to the continued high standards of care has been exceptional. My parents brag about the food, both presentation and taste, and adore the attentive staff who care for them with patience and kindness. Our family truly feels blessed to have found such a caring and supportive community where my parents feel at home.
