Mom is bedridden, so does not participate in activities. We have limited knowledge of food and dining because of what she will eat. Would probably score higher if she had a more robust appetite and ate in the dining room. We have been quite pleased with the care she is getting at Prestige. Cost to value is relative.

. Everyone has been friendly and helpful. She loves the meals. It's all been good. We picked this community because of the size of the community and size of apt. I would recommend to others.

Our family has been very happy.Our dad is the resident and this community was close to his home (familiarity) and doctors was set back from a busy street, nice surroundings and grounds, and the on-site physical therapy/gym. However, wellness director and social director have left so hoping for a replacement as good as previous gals.

My loved one is currently a resident at Town Village Vestavia Hills and everything has been great for her at this facility so far. The staff, all of them, are nothing short of awesome. The facility manager, [name removed], is absolutely fantastic. The cleanliness, meals, care services and activities are great! I would highly recommend Town Village Vestavia Hills for your loved one.

We picked this community because of the size and layout of rooms, cleanliness and friendliness of staff.Excellent experience and very helpful staff.

I would easily recommend this place to others! My parents have been very please with the cleaning staff who come in once a week. The facility overall always looks immaculate! The front desk staff knows us all by name (as we do theirs) and will go above and beyond. They really seem to care about the residents and speak to them very respectfully. They are wonderful. (One employee with [name removed] is a bit "short" and less helpful but that is a separate service). I have not eaten in the dining room but my parents aren't overly thrilled with the food. It's fine most of the time but they do complain a couple of times a week. There are many activities to chose from and the sign up process is easy! It's certainly expensive but I feel that they offer quite a lot for the money. They wish the food was better for the cost. Also, transportation for a single appointment may take a few hours because of the schedule which has caused them to not want or use it much.

My loved one is currently a resident at The Residence at Whitehall Independent Living and everything has been great for her at this facility so far! The cleanliness and friendliness are great. They really do treat you like family. The staff, meals, activities and value for cost are also great. I would recommend The Residence at Whitehall Independent Living to family and friends!

Overall the community, the atmosphere, the way they treat the residents, the way the workers treat each other. It was a homey environment, welcoming. Cleanliness... the food has been really good as well. Like everywhere... hiring help or getting people that want to work is a chore. Residents tell us... things change all the time but we have not been affected or have yet to experience any negative from changes. A lot of long term residents there though and that speaks volumes. Even the moving company told us that this must be a great place because they seldom move any one out but always moving them in.

All of the staff has been great [name removed] made it super easy to move in and when they decided Shari needed to be in the memory unit. They made that happen with no issues or effort on our part Even one of the maintenance guys help me with furniture one day by letting me use his cart Like it a lot

I would like to say that A Place For Mom was most helpful with my search, especially [name removed]Staff very friendly and answered all questions. It is very welcoming, and the residents were out and about and appeared happy. I guess you could say my family liked the vibe. My son, my brothers and I were introduced to those we would be in contact with, and I was happy that they had some exercises for those with Parkinson's Disease.

My parents only lived at Brookdale for only 3 years, but the care and love they received from the devoted staff made their, and their children's experience, feel like their long time home. When we left after their needs required more extensive medical care than Brookdale had to offer, we cried in the lobby with 6 members of the upper management and their long term care givers - it was so hard to leave. In responding to our families needs, they did everything possible to accomodate my parents whims and health issues. I recommend Brookdale Northbrook mostly for all the love in the halls there, and the smiles on the members of the community from the executive director down to the neighbors in the hallway you meet on your way down to dinner. It is a loving community to be part of, what more could one ask for their family members?

The people-the employees were so knowledgeable and personable. The residents that we met were very complimentary of the facility and seemed so happy. Plus it is a beautiful place.

You're happy at Brookdale.

It offered everything the resident needed-meals, utilities, weekly cleaning service, transportation, social interaction, capability for additional services if needed for a reasonable fee. I also liked that the property was on one building. He is also on first floor which is ideal.

We have found the environment and staff exceptional. The residents are welcoming and inclusive. We picked this community because of the employees, residents, the size of community, and access to my home.

Community residents are very welcoming. Picked this community because we liked that the apartments had full kitchens, lots of activities are offered, transportation is offered and housekeeping is also offered

My mother moved into Prestige at Mira Loma/Memory Care a little after a month ago. From the time she moved in & throughout this last month, all staff have always been welcoming, kind, understanding & nurturing toward both the resident and their family members. The program director, is pleasant to work with, warm, friendly & very knowledgeable when it comes to the needs of the residents. You can contact the staff members any time, day/night. They are always easy to reach & beyond helpful when you or your family member has a need or question. Beyond all of this, the Memory Care area is very secure and all staff follow specific procedures for letting family members (and residents when going out with family) in/out of the facility to ensure the safety of all residents. I think the biggest plus at Prestige at Mira Loma Memory Care is that the residents are encouraged to express themselves & they are each made to feel valued & respected during a very vulnerable time of their lives.

So far I just like the Collier Park community it has been a nice experience and based on the experience so far I would recommend this community to other families.

The facility has a very nice center and accommodations. The food is restaurant quality. They have a variety of activities to suit all tastes. I would recommend Town Village Sterling Heights and The Gem Memory Care to friends and family.
