I assisted a wonderful lady moving from her home into Brookdale. The idea of a retirement home brought certain thoughts into my mind; walking into Brookdale made me realize my opinions were wrong. [name removed] was beyond welcoming and supportive to me as I helped move her in...and also went out of the way to make sure my friend felt welcomed and met other people. In the week that I was in and out I met many staff and quite a few of the residents; universally they all seemed to be incredibly happy and very friendly.

They took very good care of my dad. We were very happy, but we visited all the time so we checked on everything. I feel like my dad's end of life experience was comfortable. They were super helpful and accommodating with Hospice care that we brought in.

I would give them all 5s. It's not a new facility but it was perfect for us. The staff that work there have been there awhile and are easy to work with. The location and the size of the facility were the main reasons we chose Brookdale Peoria, and it has been a great experience.

The staff in Assisted Living are caring and competent. The food is quite good. My folks are quite picky though. They always have alternatives if nothing sounds good.

I would recommend to others. If a friend asked about Sumter Senior Living I would say that they were very responsive and organized when we were touring memory care places. My family liked the way the memory care unit was setup especially how the kitchen/dining/entertainment area was surrounded by the residents' rooms. The move-in was easy. Every time I visited the majority of residents were in the central area and not in their rooms. Staff was always wiling to help if we had a specific request. My father's room was always clean as was he and his clothes. He did pass in March.

I toured the community seeking for my brother. I love how everyone interact with everybody that's why it I'm looking for my brother he really will enjoy I love the experience the new things that y'all have going on I love all of it.

My grandmother moved in to the Summit (formerly the Sheridan) in July 2022. She lived there until her passing in March 2024 at age 94. It was her third ALF since her stroke in 2016, and it was by far the best. I live about five minutes away and so I was there often. I was able to see first-hand the attention and care she received from all of the staff. From the CNAs to the nurses to the maintenance and cleaning personnel, I always felt they had her best interests at heart. They have several integrated doctors and PT/OT (though you can keep your own) and because of that they were able to catch a few issues my grandmother was having long before they became critical. There are some things you can tell from a tour - the activities, the physical amenities, maybe even the food. But what you cannot tell, and what matters most, are the people who work there. I'll be forever thankful of the care my grandmother received; it was very much the kind of care I'd hope to receive myself in her place.

So far, they have been accommodating, making sure of a smooth transition to Assisted Living.

The people who live and work here make living here easy, comfortable, and fun.

After visiting over a half dozen facilities in the Mesa Arizona area for a safe fun place for my mom, we found Brookdale Springs. Mom absolutely did not feel comfortable with any of the facilities she looked at, we thought relocating her was just not going to work, until we met with the staff at Brookdale Springs Mesa. Mom's attitude immediately changed and felt a warmth from the staff, residents and the facility. Mom and I are just extremely happy with the whole experience there. Mom and I want to give a very special thank you to [name removed] who has a genuine, friendly and caring relationship with all the residents, as I have observed. She brings a fun, positive and caring feeling to every senior in the facility. I hope that [name removed] and the whole staff are recognized. A true passion to help our elderly can be rare these days but we are very happy with the whole experience. Thank you

The community is really nice, my father enjoys being there. We've had a couple of hiccups with admin services but they have been receptive to resolving our problems.

I've lived happily at Brookdale Lake Shore Drive for five years, and recommend it highly. The locations and wonderful activities are two of the best assets.

The staff at Camellia at Deerwood are all very attentive, friendly, helpful. I definitely recommend this facility to others.

My father and I made the decision to move him back to IL after it became apparent that he could no longer live by himself so far away from family. After a very thorough search, we chose Brookdale because of the caring and professional staff, the friendly community, and the wonderful facilities and available services. From a facility standpoint, Brookdale Northbrook had much nicer, updated apartments with a well designed floorplan than others in the same price range. The dining service great and provides a wide variety of food. The activity areas are also spacious and can accommodate daily game nights, musical performances, and other. When evaluating places, we were both impressed by the professionalism and care of the staff. I was amazed at how the staff not only knew every resident's names, but even their family member's names too. No request was too big or too small, you just had to ask and they will try to accommodate as best they can.

Beautiful clean apartments and common areas. Good food with an extensive option menu. Friendly and helpful staff, variety of activities.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They communicate appropriately with family, no matter the time of day. We had a family holiday meal catered at the facility and the food was terrific! We will do it again. My brother has met many people he kn there and has also made some new friends. I would recommend The Residence, though the price went up considerably in less than a year.

The rooms are very nice and the food is good. They have a wonderful social calendar so encourage your loved one to go to the cafeteria and to the events. My mother was in the Assisted Living portion for 2 years. This is what is MOST important about any place. They treated my mother with kindness and care. I couldn't have asked for a better staff for the care of my mother. My mother went in needing minimal care but as her needs accelerated, they were there, every step of the way. I can't speak highly enough about Acacia Springs. They were like family to my mother and when my mother passed, a number of the med techs took it very hard which shows you what they put into their job. My mother called Acacia Springs her home. I loved visiting her there. I can't recommend it highly enough! I will miss visiting her there! They made me smile!

The staff is great with my father-in-law and is always in contact with us on his health and any concerns they may have.
