The activities have been great. So far we are very happy with them. The room sizes are very nice, and the staff members have just been very attentive to our loved one. They allow our family to come and go, and they have just done a great job working with us.

The Highlands has been wonderful. They helped with the move and are working very hard to get our loved one settled and comfortable. They are doing a great job keeping us informed even with the Covid restrictions.

There's nothing bad about Town Village at all. They're very friendly, the employees as well as the people that live here. They come clean the rooms every two weeks, and I think they do an adequate job. Overall the food is good, and there's plenty of it. But I think they could improve their menu a little bit. They have some things they don't do perfect, like the fried chicken is too brown. But overall I have no complaints. For activities, I've enjoyed the exercise classes, and they took us on riverboat ride, which turned out very nice. The resident pays for those types of excursions, but that's expected.

I spoke to [name removed] at the Highlands and she was beyond sweet! We were going to do a virtual tour and go from there.They called me the next day and said they feel they don't have the level of care needed for my Mom and apologized over and over. I wish we could of met them before this decision was made.I think maybe I represented Mom to be worse than she is. They had told me in a previous conversation that they had 6 levels of care, I believe. I thought this was going to be a good fit. >> My Feedback: I think anyone looking to place a loved one,this would be a great place for them to go. I just think maybe it may be more of an assisted living facility or just above that level. I'm not sure because we never got to zoom so I could see exactly the kind of care they offer.

I toured Brookdale Springs Mesa and something I really liked about this facility was that if you are in independent living and need more care, you are able to transition to assisted living but you do not have to move out of your current apartment you are in.

We chose Portside at Grande Dunes because my brother lives in the area and he was very impressed with the facility and once I saw it I could understand why. Everybody was very friendly, accommodating, and caring. The apartment sizes here are excellent. We ate here a couple of times and the food is very good. We did have a couple of hiccups with the phone in the beginning, sometimes communication gets lost of forgotten so they could improve on that. I would recommend them.

The meals and activities could use some improvements, due to the pandemic they had to discount a lot of their main activities. However they did a very good job coordinating the vaccines so all the residents could get their shots so we are hoping the activities quickly start back up. We also think the value is excellent. Our loved one really likes that they have a van service that takes them to and from places, they also have an exercise room and a pool area. Everything is well maintained.

The community is nice. The staff is kind and caring. The only I feel the price is higher than I would want to pay. The community does a good job with keep our family updated and informed. I would recommend this community to others

It's very difficult to get a callback whether you're talking with billing or the nurses in the actual unit. Overall my loved seems pretty well adjusted, and seems to like it there. For that, I rate them highly. When I look at my loved one, his clothes look a little dirty and he looks a little unkempt. They did ask me to send him another razor (he came in with a $100 razor that was misplaced). We've brought in numerous grooming materials and the staff doesn't seem to know where they are (although honestly, with dementia, that could be my loved one putting them somewhere, it's hard to tell). It's so hard with Covid going on. But hopefully things will get better. As far as communicating what's going on with my loved one or with billing, that's been difficult.

From what we were able to see of the meals, the food looked to be really good. Our loved one did not always participate in the activities but we do know they offered a wide variety of things to do. We would recommend the Elmcroft community to others.

The care services are separate from the community. The community is an independent living with additional cost for the assistance. The community is good with communication and they are quick to return calls. I would recommend depending on your loved ones' needs.

We have had a few issues along the time, however everything was resolved in a timely manner and they worked so well with us to get those issues resolved. The staff members have done a pretty good job given this past years circumstances and we have a really good rapport with the executive director, she has been great.

Great environment. My husband and I actually got to do an on-site visit. The staff were very friendly. The residents that we interacted with were very nice and very complimentary of the facility and staff. The residents seemed very comfortable.

The staff members we do encounter are great and very responsive. Our loved has mentioned they are doing bingo which is the only activity at the moment. The frustrating part is that the residents will only get a prize which is a piece of candy if they finish the entire board of bingo. The location of the community is very convenient and for St. Patrick's Day they are letting the relatives drive by and honk and waive to their family members.

All of the staff members we have encountered have been very friendly, helpful, and our loved one is really happy there. Our loved one enjoys the activities, however the food could use a little bit of improvements.

Overall a great choice with a great value and proposition and services

My husband has been at Heritage Oaks now for over 2 years. I had moved him from another facility that was both unsafe and ill-staffed. Since I had this unpleasant experience I know what good care would be like.. He has been kept safe, active, well-groomed with dignity, loved by staff, and secure in a healthy and clean environment. I was truly impressed with the attention he gets, the activities he is kept engaged in, and the staff leadership I have seen first-hand at this faility. Although his mind is deteriating and his body is slowly fading his care has always been given with his dignity, health, and safety in mind. I would 100% recommend Heritage Oaks as a beautiful and professional care facility to place your elderly loved one.
