Glen Park

Overall it has been a really good experience. We are really happy with the facility and the care we have received. They have been very responsive to all our needs and concerns. We have had a much better experience with Glen Park West than with previous places we have experienced. Overall we are really very pleased.

I have no negative comments about the Facility. Overall the Experience was Satisfactory.

My experience with Singing Oaks Retirement Home, now Glen Park, has been great. The staff is good, and they provide great care. It is an older facility, and they do have air conditioning units versus central heat and air . The food is pretty good. They offer many activities. They have activities two times a day 9am-11am and 2pm-4pm. Plus they take the residents on outings and have entertainment come in once a week. I've talked to other people whose loved ones have been there for 3 or 4 years, and they are all completely satisfied.

Things have gone very well with Glen Park East so far. It's a nice looking place, very clean and well kept. They've got a great staff here as well. The care staff are friendly, caring, and professional, and the administration have all been very responsive and easy to work with.

The whole experience has been wonderful. My loved one is happy in her new home. We are very happy with Glen Park West.

We had some very good things to say about the staff and the facility. She was in the least secure area, and wandered off several times. She is in the more secured side, now. There has only been one escape since she has been on this side. They are pretty professional, and the staff is very nice, and they keep it very clean. They are updating the less secure side, to have better security. The people in the higher security side, is kind of depressing. They are always doing activities, they have healthy snacks. They have doctors on staff, that are very open to different treatments. They have some good people. They have helped my stress level a lot. There is one caretaker that every time I see him he is on his cell phone, I would like to see him engage with the residents a little more.

We are very happy with it. They are very clean and friendly. They are very responsive to care needs. They call me right away if anything happens, the communication is great. They have a good variety of things to do. The food is really good, she likes it. I think they even work with the wavier program. It's great.

They are just for alzheimers and dementia, and they really know what they are doing. They are good with the medication management. That has made a big difference. They are doing a great job. They know how to handle the things that come up.

She sounds very nice and friendly!

My ratings are based on my experiences prior to the pandemic. I would tell others that this is a community, and they try to really work with the families of the residents. The staff are super friendly, and genuinely have a caring feeling for my loved one.

I recently toured Glen Park and my impressions were positive: the center was bright, cheerful, and quite large with plenty of open space. The staff were professional, cheerful and competent. The residents I saw seemed to be enjoying their community and each other. I spent a few minutes chatting with a longterm resident in her private room which was spacious and decorated to feel like home. I encouraged this resident to speak honestly about her experience with the facility and she had only positives to report. I will return to Glen Park for a more comprehensive assessment of care services.

I have to echo the other previous reviews, we looked at several residences, and Glen Park had the most to offer, was clean and was also the most reasonably priced. My wife and I were pleased with the services at Glen Park. My mother needed a place to live while she was recovering from a rapid onset of dementia and was being treated. Thankfully she has recovered very nicely with Glen Parks help and was able to return home. It is well run, cheerful and inviting. [Name removed] is the retirement counselor we worked with and she really was able to address all our needs and questions. Thanks, Glen Park, for all you do! I highly recommend!!

My wife lived in this facility for more than 8 years. I visited her almost every day. Unfortunately, she passed away under hospice care. Staff put make up on her face everyday and comb her hair in the way she always used to comb. I used to be so happy seeing my wife like that even though she lived in the facility. They made sure that my wife was cleaned. She was incontinent, and they always cleaned her up well. Overall, they are wonderful.

I go to this facility to see my loved one almost every week. Staff are very attentive towards staff. Management is doing very well. Some residents keep on wandering around in the dining room, but staff assist them quickly. Most of their staff have smile on their face during working hours.

Staff are very helpful. They are quick to help me when i need help. They spend enough time helping me. This is only the facility where i saw staff taking enough time based on residents' needs. I love the food. They provide very tasty and nutritious food. I love their front patio. I love hallways they have. It's very wide. The facility is cleaned. They give snacks between each meal time and before bedtime. They are very attentive towards all residents. Some residents give them hard time, but they still help all residents in timely manner.

I like the facility. I like all staff that work here. I like the food a lot. I like activities. we get to go to other Glen Park Communities for bingo bash. We get to go to field trips. They provide transportation to doctor's appointments. They always help me quickly with anything i need. They are quick in calling doctors for any changes in my condition. I love the foot doctor that come to the facility to do our toe nails. He is very patience and compassionate.

I love the facility. I love staff that work here. Staff have compassion for residents. Some residents are too demanding, but staff manage to fulfill their demands. The facility is very clean.

I've been living here for about 7 years now so far the best years besides the fact this is a clean place and staff so nice, met my fiance here which I spend so much time with in the back patio because how peaceful and its beautiful garden.

My loved one has been at the Glen Park for many years now and it is a good place, I would recommend it. It is good for people who are looking for something that's on a schedule. They have assigned seats in the dining room and they seem to really care about their residents. It has been a good fit for her.
