Glen Park

The location is in an excellent neighborhood,the staff is very attentive and professional.Good food and many activities, aprtment style rooms. Many outdoor and in door a tivities in house medical and dental services as well as transportation to outcare appointments.

The overall experience has been good. The facility is clean and well maintained. Everyone is very friendly. My friend is only 66 and has progressive Multiple Sclerosis. She's happy and the staff will interact with her since she in ok mentally. They are very good with the care and keep in touch with my friends needs. She does say the food is a bit boring. There are not too many activities, but they will play games with her that she enjoys. All other the places were more expensive. It's only a bit cheaper for the level of care my wheelchair bound friend needs. The director [name removed] is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Positives: The facility looks and smells wonderfully clean. The residents look tidy and healthy. Staff is always friendly and helpful in supplying information and assistance. Could be better: The meal portions are very small. The residents can ask for seconds, but it wouldn't take much to make a note of who eats more or who prefers bread with their meal (for example). The activities are all group based; shy or timid residents choose not to participate. Individual activities (even if it's walking outside) would be great. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the care my dad is receiving

I chose Glen Park at Glendale because of the Promptness of response. The staff have all been very helpful and caring.

Our first impression of Glen Park at Glendale is how bright and clean it is. It smells clean! The staff have been very kind. Getting the whole care team (family, staff, administration) on the same page regarding my loved one's activity and freedom has taken some effort. But overall, communication between the administration and me has been great. The meals are well balanced and healthy, but portions seem to be very small. It was easily resolved by asking for extra portions for my loved one. Overall, I'm very pleased with the facility and I trust that they are doing a great job taking care of my loved one. I definitely recommend Glen Park at Glendale to anyone.

What we really like about the Glen Park at Glendale community is the good location for our families, it is also clean and the staff members are very responsive. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend Glen Park to other families looking for a place for their elderly loved ones.

Due to our loved ones health she was not really able to leave to tour the facility and interview with the director, so she came out to our house to assess our loved one and to us that really showed genuine care for her needs, so we really appreciate them accommodating our family and that was a big selling point. Once our loved one received their vaccination and we got our move in date, they made the entire transition so smooth and easy.

I did a virtual tour with Elizabeth. It is beyond clear that she loves her job and loves the facilities. I was most impressed that she knew the residents by name, and they all seemed to be excited to be on camera. (Most of them were eating lunch at the time.) Elizabeth answered all my questions and did a great job of making this process as easy as possible.

This is am amazing community, The staff are friendly, always wiling to help, always smiling, and always courtesy, I can't say enough good things about them. The caregiver are all amazing. The go the extra mile to make my husband comfortable , happy and they really try everything they can to accommodate him. I would highly recommend this community. They make my husband feel at home and they alleviate his stress.

Since my mom moved into Glen Park, she has been in the best mood. She is very happy in her new home and loves her new friends. She raves about the all the fun activities. The staff is outstanding! Very friendly and caring. We are grateful we found a loving home for her. If you are looking for a loving, friendly and caring assisted living home, I highly recommended Glen Park.

I love this place my mom and my dad are here and have been here for the past 7 years they are the nicest people and the most loving staff. If you want to make sure you love ones are cared for and are happy and having FUN!!!send them to Glen park. They should change the name to glen-heart because of all the love. Thank you glen park for treating my family like family. I love you all.

Has more ambulatory, alert and active residents. In mixed setting with Dementia patients . Open airy, clean facility multilevel. Multiple activity areas. Spacious rooms.

I like being able to share my past experiences with the staff and residents. The staff members do a lot for all of us and I really respect them for all the work they do. I feel so grateful to live here.

I like the people, I like living here and want to stay here for a long time because this is my home. I like everyone here because it is peaceful and I like the food they serve.

I like it here because the residents are my friends and they help me when i want to do something like reorganize my room. I love the staff because they are easy to talk to and they help me solve problems instead of solving them for me. I really like the outings and playing bingo at the bingo bash, all the activities are fun and relaxing.

I like the congeniality of the facility. I really love the administrator [name removed] because she cares about everyone. The staff are all very good to me and I really like how attentive they are to me because I am ill. I love all the residents because they feel like my family and they make me feel at home here.

Everything is excellent at this facility.
