What a great place! I toured the facility and was very impressed. Very clean, people were friendly, and the residences seemed happy!

Highgate was extremely helpful in guiding us through the process. It is a difficult thing to do. However we feel our mother is safe and happy where she is. She joins in with the activities. Each time I see her and it is often, she is good. She is clean, dressed, safe and busy. So far Highgate has given us exactly what mom needs. They are very responsive to her needs and ours.

My mother has been living at Langdon Place of Nashua since January 2014. She is much healthier and happier than when she was living alone and I credit the staff at Langdon Place for attending to her physical and emotional health. The staff is continuously looking for ways to improve the quality of life through activities, health care, and daily care. I visited many assisted living places in the area and I knew immediately that Langdon Place was the place for my mother, I felt the loving, sincere, and caring family atmosphere as soon as I started the tour and like I said earlier, they continuously improve in all aspects of their care. You cannot go wrong choosing Langdon Place of Nashua to care for your loved!

My Mother has bee a resident for several years and progressed from indepent living to assisted living with declining health. Every step of the way Lanagdon Staff was prepared to meet her needs. They have been warm and inviting with both Mom and my family. They have a great activity calendar and work to engage all residents.

My has been there for 8 1/2 months. She has dementia and the initial adjustment was rough. But the staff was great at helping her to adjust, getting her to meals and activities. She has since moved to the memory floor and is doing well. The staff is caring and everyone knows her name. I think it is important to be involved and aware of what is going on with your loved one. The physical therapy department was very helpful in getting her to use a walker. There are also seasonal activities that families are invited to attend. They are fun and the clients love them.

We are thankful for the friendly atmosphere, comfort level of resident interactions, and personal care given by the aides. We find the cleanliness amazing and the variety of activities made available each day to the residents creates a real family feeling among those living there. Chestnut Ridge was the excellent choice.

Langdon place received an A- from my mother. Super clean, provided for everything she needs. Close to where she lives now. Unfortunately a studio is not available at this time and an efficiency is above her price range.

The place was beautiful I spoke with some of the people living there before I went in. They all seemed to love it.tour went very well, a great weight has been lifted should I have to bring mom I would feel good about it. I'll shall look into our finances and start paper work for veterans benefits and we'll see what happens over the next few weeks as mom is still in rehab

Very nice feel. MC is on an upper floor which makes a difference to me. Has a calendar of events just for MC rather than working MC events into IL/AL calendar. Room has separate sitting area (which makes a difference as opposed to just walking into a bedroom.

Back in early 2017, on the advice of our doctor and support of our children, daughter and son in law, my wife and I started to look for an independent/assisted living home. We looked at several but Langdon Place of Dover got and kept our attention. Why? THE STAFF!! An apartment is an apartment, a room is a room, etc., but the staff at Langdon Place of Dover makes this place!! If you can’t smile and have a positive attitude at all times, then you won’t work here. Why? The folks that live here!! It’s all here, medical problems, along with age. The need for a slow pace of living while at the same time someone is watching out for your welfare. Try pacifying over 100 folks at Langdon Place of Dover 24-7. It’s being done. And each and everyone here at Langdon Place of Dover has a smile on their face.

My guide was not the "usual" guide, but still provided me with a comprehensive tour of the residence and provided answers to all of my questions. Her rapport with residents is such that we were invited in to personal rooms, not just the model rooms, to see how people really use the space. The resident's trust and friendliness with the staff speaks volumes about the quality of the community at Heritage Woods.

This is a wonderful community. You can feel the difference when you walk in . The residents could not be nicer. They are so welcoming. My aunt really felt welcomed. The activities are ongoing and the residents seem very busy and happy. A wonderful benefit , there is a pool! Families can also use the pool. the day we came there was a pool party going on. My aunt is on the wait list!

My mother has been at Langdon Place for 1 month and everyone has been so helpful to her and myself. They have done so much more than I thought they could. They have taken away many of the worries I had for my mom and improved her daily life.

Nearing the age of 100, my mother has thrived these past 3 1/2 years at Langdon Place. The care she has received has prolonged what our family thought would be a short stay! I attribute this to the professional, caring and friendly staff of administration, nursing, activities, food services, maintenance and housekeeping. What was a lonely and unsafe situation at home, has been replaced with a more interactive environment at Langdon where she is well cared for and loved! I toured other facilities before I placed my mother, and Langdon sold me by the friendliness and sincerity of the staff.

We selected Langdon Place for both of my in-laws at different times. My father-in-law was there several years ago and received excellent care until he passed away. More recently, my mother-in-law has needed assistance and she chose Langdon for herself. She has received the same high quality of care that my father-in-law received in 2014. The staff and administration are kind, compassionate and hard working. Many of the same staff who cared for my FIL are still working at Langdon 3 years later. That tells me that they treat their employees well. I cannot recommned it too highly.

We loved the tour. We like how small the memory care facility is - very personal. They also have assisted living and skilled nursing so we won't need to move anyone.
