My mother has been at BAL for a year and has never been happier. I have not met one staff member who isn’t caring and attentive. It’s a small facility, so every staff member knows every resident well and makes sure they are taken care of 24/7. My mother is severely hearing impaired, almost blind, and uses a walker. The staff go out of their way to make sure that she feels safe and reassured. Staff are wonderful about communicating with family members, so I always know what’s going on. I never worry about my mother, even when I am out of town. The place is clean and bright, modern but cozy. Meals are good, and there are several activities throughout the week to enhance socialization, creativity, physical fitness, learning, etc. The location in the hill country is beautiful and peaceful. It is one story with front and back porches. As a geriatric psychologist who has worked in several long-term care facilities, I truly consider this place a gem. My sisters and I are so grateful for BAL!

The staff is wonderful, everyone is very kind to my mother, her needs are met, I don't have to worry because she is in good care and she is happy.....which matters most.

My Ma and I were greeted at the door with masks for the patient that needed to be seen and also given a lot of needed medication refills. Every resident was happy and well taken care of staff was pleasant and offered assistance when needed.

I am so impressed with Bulverde Assisted Living!! I know my mother is well taken care of with the wonderful staff and she is so happy having her own apartment. It's great not to have to worry!

From the moment we toured this facility, we knew this is where Mom needed to be. Open and cheerful surroundings, friendly staff, super clean, and prompt help makes this the place to be for our mother. The administrator and social worker are on top of things. It's a great place!

My dad has loved living at the Bulverde Assisted Living. The staff and management have been top notch! Today we and Dad had an over-the-top experience. {name removed} cleaned my dad's room. There is no comparison in the quality of cleaning he provided. Prior it was certainly adequate. But to know the upmost sanitary, cleanliness has been achieved.

The people are really nice and helpful. I enjoy them and they seem to work together.

This is the first assisted living community where I've been so I have nothing to compare it to. I've been here four months. I'm impressed by the way management takes care of things. In my opinion they are on top of everything that goes on. They and the staff have an excellent relationship with the residents. They all appear to enjoy their work and each other. This is a very clean place. The housekeeping is excellent. The kitchen staff tries to please us.

I think this is really a wonderful place and I appreciate the employees. I'm here because a dear friend moved here from San Angelo where we both lived and she insisted I move here so she could continue to take care of my business I am so glad I did.

I was placed here for my own safety and welfare. When I began to forget to take my meds I then lived with my cousin, my caregiver. She decided to place me here after a few months of research. I'm here and she is 10 minutes away. She takes me to appointments and trips and found that it's easy access in and out. The staff are hardworking and assist above and beyond, food is average in taste, selection, and quality. Facility is always impeccably clean, each resident is serviced according to their needs.

Excellent place, nice and clean, very friendly staff, feel ver good. Everyone is so nice. I will highly recommend this assisted living.

My dad lives here and I have found that they are kind and courteous and patient with him. I am so thankful and grateful for this community. The management has been so knowledgeable helping me make decisions for him in ways I would have never known. I could not do this without them.

[name removed] and [name removed] keep things running exceptionally smooth. The employees treat the residents with utmost care and respect. The extras that they do to enhance the resident's lives and make things for are above and beyond. I couldn't have found a better place for my mother to live.

Staffs are great, very helpful.

It's real good here. People are nice. Im happy I have a beautiful view of the outside.
