Cedar Grove is a really nice place. The director, [name removed], is very nice and extremely helpful and compassionate. The price was very good. The staff is very nice and caring. They took good care of my mother!

Great place to have your family for assistance. Friendly staff, good meals. We were glad we chose Grand Prairie. They have several activities, they do assist with appointments, take trips to Walmart and other activities in the community.

It's nothing like a nursing home of which my mom has a fear of. Very clean and the staff are very courteous and accommodating.

[name removed] is taken good care of they do her laundry clean her apartment meals are provided she has a microwave fridge smoking area she smokes has her cat with her lots of activities and a small store

Everyone here is very friendly and kind. There are lots of things to participate. I joined a euchre group and have a great time. Meals are prepared 3 times a day. If I need help I only have to ask

Excellent leadership. Clean and modern design. The food is delicious. Many residents that have been there awhile like it and are happy. The level and quality of activities is resident-centered and second to none. There's a lot of people doing a lot of things for my mom that she really needed. For example, laundry, help making the bed, shower assistance, medication.

Everything is a five according to Mom, however the food is a two. She often has a snack or meal in her room. She realizes the cooks only get so much to work with, but the meals disappoint her. Breakfast is probably the best!

The activities director always has something planned and is great at getting the residents involved. She's got my Aunt to do a pancake toss, play volleyball, even participate in a spelling bee. Cedar Grove is far less costly than most facilities that can care for a dementia patient. I was concerned that my Aunt's feet were swollen and they immediately took pictures of her feet and called their in house doctor and got her an appointment the next day.

5 for all! I was pleased about the fact that you could be as involved in the activities or not be involved. There were plenty of things to do to keep us from being bored.

They treated the residents with dignity and respect. Everyone was very kind. The nursing staff and CNAs would go above and beyond for the residents. And the other residents were friendly.

Came for lunch and then took a tour. Very nice. Saw the studio apartment and others, plus the furnished one you can rent for a short term stay. All were very spacious. Previously, my neighbor stayed for a short time and was very pleased.

The facility is an overall excellent experience, from the cleanliness to the staff. The residents are comfortable and have an opportunity to live in peaceful surroundings. The food and activities are really nice, this is a high class facility.

They are flexible and very accommodating. The room size is good. The physical therapy services are excellent. The staff is very friendly and responsive. The food is the weakness.

I needed respite care for my brother after his caregiver was injured in an accident. The Village had room available and he was welcomed into a clean private assisted living room. He was provided therapy to the extallowed by his medical insurance.When it came time for his stay to end, The Village was able to accommodate my request for additional time to give his caregiver additional healing time. If I have need for a future respite stay for any member of my family, I would contact The Village first.

Very impressed with the facility! Lovely public area and rooms, excellent staff, fun activities. It’s difficult looking for a place for a loved one and even harder to make a decision. Grand Victorian made it easy!

During our initial visit & subsequent visits since, I consistently see residents greeting the staff in a warm & friendly manner, and using their names. That meant a lot to me. We signed my mom up for an adorable studio apartment which, unfortunately my mom never occupied. Her mental health took a bad turn in a short period of time & we chose to admit her into the GV Memory Care unit. Very happy with the care & patience they show while taking care of all their “special needs” residents. My mom is being well taken care of & absolutely no regrets in choosing the Grand Victorian.

Supportive Living is a great program for those who need financial assistance to live in an Assisted Living Community but may not have funds to pay privately for the duration or at all. The services of the community can help a person maintain a great quality of life.
