The staff are kind and friendly. They have great activities for residents and the food is good.

The quality of care eval is mostly because of being short on staff sometimes and there are always - in any setting - a few who are careTAKERs rather than careGIVERS. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families

Many activities if people wish to participate, staff very caring and friendly, food is very good and varied. Food and residents council once a month were people can air their complaints. Facility is very clean and overall a lovely place.

Grand Victorian of Sycamore is awesome, definitely a 5. Great staff from the aids up to management! Easy to work with, easy to talk to, super attentive! My parents needs changed a lot since they moved there and every change was met with respect and courtesy! I can't possibly say enough good things.

Heritage Woods of Huntley is truly the only assisted living facility I would recommend. My 96 mom was only there for about 6 months before her passing but I honestly feel she enjoyed every moment there because of the amazing, caring and compassionate staff. She truly loved her interactions with everyone from the administrative staff, therapist, activity and dietary staff. She called the nursing and personal care staff her angels! Absolutely everyone there worked as a team and made it their personal mission to provide whatever was needed. The added gift was the amazing friends she made in her short time there. It was a true gift to her children to watch her enjoy these new relationships that brought her such joy! Thank you for your commitment to providing such loving care to my mom.

I feel like that this stage he is very happy and feels safe. I feel if you have a concern they do what it takes to correct it .

5 for everything. My husband was very happy there when he was there for 2 weeks for Respite. [name removed] was wonderful husband there. She answered all my concerns, reassured me, and gave me lots of hugs! She followed up with us even after my husband returned. I REALLY APPRECIATE A Place for Mom helping with finding the right facility. We couldn't have done it without you!

Administrative staff are very responsive to my questions. The staff do a good job of keeping me informed about my mom's status. My mom likes the outside courtyard. There are activities every day that staff encourages my mom to participate in.

The director knows how to hire staff. While it might take longer to be fully staffed the person they bring in fits in very well While each staff is unique with skills and talents they share same core work ethic.

We had a truly wonderful experience with Heritage Woods of Huntley. From the moment we first toured the facility, it was clear that this community is built around kindness, respect, and genuine care for its residents. The staff consistently went above and beyond — they were not only professional and attentive but also incredibly warm and welcoming. Every interaction felt personal, and it was obvious that they knew and cared about each resident as an individual. The facilities are clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for senior living. Common areas are bright, cheerful, and inviting, encouraging social interaction and activities. Apartments are spacious, accessible, and feel very much like home, with enough privacy while still offering support as needed. One thing that stood out to us was how much emphasis Heritage Woods places on fostering a true sense of community. Between the daily activities, outings, and family events, residents have every opportunity to stay engaged and connected, which brought a lot of peace of mind to our family. For anyone searching for a senior living community that prioritizes both the health and happiness of their residents, Heritage Woods of Huntley is a truly outstanding choice. We are grateful for the care and compassion they consistently provide to our Mom.

I would give all 8 of them, a 5. Top to bottom, that facility is wonderful. Everyone was very easy to work with. Great communication! Also, the residents always looked clean and well attended to. Even the more challenging residents were attended to in a manner that helped satisfy them. They were not left to be off in a corner and "we will get back to them." Excellent staff!!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. I have only eaten there once but my brother loves it. There are many activities. What we like the most about the community is the aides and the online Sycamore was also very nice. Heritage Woods just felt right for our brother. I think people have to choose what is a fit for them and their loved one's needs. They were both very nice just not for us.

The staff are professional and friendly, very willing to help in any way possible! At the moment we're having a change of management, which seems to be very positive for all concerned. There will be many improvements, upgrades. An exciting time! I would truly recommend this place to anyone searching for this type of facility!!

I will leave out details of our personal situation and just say that the accommodations at Grand Victoria's memory care unit are very nice. But what set Grand Victoria apart, in our opinion, is the nursing staff. They are outstanding. This is exactly the kind of care you want for your family. They are highly trained in memory care and it is obvious when you see them interacting with the residents. All during the day you see most of the residents out in the common areas socializing and participating in goup activities with the staff. We are very glad we chose Hrand Victoria for our mom.

5 in all categories. What we like the most about Carriage Court is the staff. The staff were amazing. The nurses and aides loved and cared about my mom as if she was family. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

The staff is very kind and helpful. The facility is clean and cozy. My mom has a studio apartment which is perfect for her. Each apartment size and lay out is different so that would be up to what a person's looking for.
