I was very pleased with the friendliness of staff and residents and was happy to know that there were many on staff that had been at the Fountains for 10+ years.

[Removed], the new director, has been a breath of fresh air. Her best two qualities are 1). Caring sincerely for the residents 2) listening to suggestions. She is a proactive leader!

Everyone from the staff to dining room is so friendly and helpful. It truly is a loving community where everybody knows your name.

It was perfect timing when we found this community for my in-laws and their transition has been great. Each of them has had to make a separate trip to the hospital and the staff would make sure that they checked in on the one still at the community and they sent the one in the hospital get well wishes. Their apt is very nice and my in-laws have settled in very nicely. There are a lot of amenities for the residents to take part. I would definitely recommend this community.

We liked the tour that we received from the nice staff. The community is clean and has a nice menu. The list of a good healthy menu is appealing. They offer nice activities. We think that the other residents seem to be happy in this environment. We would recommend the care of this community for families to tour for the care of a loved one.

I am a pharmacist in the local community and have visited this facility numerous times to offer flu shot clinics for the residents and participate in health fairs. The residents seem happy and the stay knows each patient on a personal level.

My mother-in-law is having a hard time acclimating to a lifestyle of downsizing from her large home to a smaller apartment. We have communicated our concern with the administrators that she is not adjusting to the environment here at Heritage Woods of Gurnee. They have tried to encourage her to come and eat her meals in the dining area and try to get her to participate with the other residents in the activities they provide. This has been really tough emotionally on my wife and sister-in-law. The community is clean and the staff is friendly enough, it just may not be a good fit. We're still trying to figure out how to proceed.

My mother is doing great with her move to this community. It is a wonderful facility, and I'am pleased with her move here. She has adjusted very well to this community, and it has been a fabulous experience. The nursing is wonderful, I know she in receiving great care, and she is in good hands. The staff is very caring, and has been attentive towards my mother. I have nothing but good things to say about this community. I would highly recommend it.

The Heritage Woods of Huntley have a wonderful staff. We knew it was the right fit for my mom when we took the tour. The staff is always so welcoming when we come to visit and we feel right at home. My sister lives down the road so it is a very convenient location for us. They also have a web site that lets us know what mom is doing. It is a very clean and well-kept community. They encourage the residents to participate in the various activities. Usually, there are about three activities lined up for the day. Plus the other festivities they have, they recently had a party celebrating the cubs and white socks, it was a lot of fun. I've had the opportunity to dine with my mom and the food is not bad, they serve two specials a day and a variety of choices. They provide outings once a week on the bus for shopping or a ride outside the community. It is so nice to know she is well taken care of and they are [Removed] on the spot for any questions or concerns regarding my mom's well-being.

I met with the Director of Nursing for a tour. Very well kept and active community for those 65 and older. Now my family with review and make a decision. Thank you.

After my mom living alone for so long I was a little concerned about moving her however since moving in she had adjusted amazing well. She is happy and well adjusted. Mom is doing just about every activity they have from playing cards. to playing bingo, to joining an exercise class she keeps very busily. The staff is wonderful here very friendly and helpful. There is good communication from the staff and there is a website you can log onto to see how your loved is doing which is a great feature. Mom seems to like the food no complaints. They have a nurse come in every 2 weeks to do wellness checks. My plan was to move mom into another community that I had put a deposit down on when they had an opening but since mom loves it here and she is doing well I have since decided to leave her here.

Heritage Woods is a fantastic community! The staff are caring and supportive! I love working with all of the staff.

Such a incredible place for family to live. Extremely clean ,Staff is Amazing,caring and friendly Its like walking into HOME everyone is so nice.... Food is Great,and there is always activities going on. You could not ask for a better place ...AAA+++

My mother-in-law loves it here and she is doing great. I like the staff providing the care, the activities, and the fact she is eating 3 meals a day. The staff help her get dressed, showered, and they keep her safe. I am getting updates about her and I am able to visit every other day. I picked them because the location is in my town.

The staff are superb in meeting our needs. They are friendly and greet each resident by name. Mom likes the food and has even started participating in a few of the activities such as movie night. They keep the community clean as well as they clean her apartment once a week. They do her laundry and change her sheets once a week. I like that they focused on mom during our tour and not the family. This community does accept medicaid.

I am currently the social service Director at a skilled nursing facility. My facility often works with Heritage Woods of Dwight. Heritage Woods staff is pleasant and easy to work with. Their staff shows compassion for their residents. Their facility provides a homelike environment. The community of Dwight is lucky to have this type of facility.

We toured this community and we would happy for my mom to have moved in here. The community was clean and they offer nice healthy meals. The activities would have been good for my mom to participate. We would recommend that other families tour this community for care for a loved one with a good value
