Oasis at 30th...is a awesome place to have your loved ones especially if you want them to have quality care, if they need help with activities og daily living. I attended an event here last year and it was phenominal everything was in order the residents enjoyed themselves and the food was ever so delicious..i highly recomnend this place.

My Mom is a happy resident of Heritage and I had to take a moment to express my admiration and gratefulness to what has become the blossoming of her old self again. As an only son, me and my wife always tried to find interesting things to do together, but when she now looks forward to singers, dancers, children's choirs, knitting classes, and tonight's 5:00 hula dancers, I can't express the peace and joy her new life there offers her. The management and staff are fantastic and they treat us like family when we have any issues and are extremely concerned and helpful in every area where we have had issues, be it health, financial or otherwise. I feel it is important to realize Heritage is not a nursing home and there is certain criteria required to live there. This was explained from our first meeting and reiterated throughout the process, but while she is in good health, we hope and pray that continues so that she can continue looking forward to the great food, fun and feelings they offer her. I just needed to give credit where it is due, so thanks for giving us the opportunity.

The lady we met was very knowledgeable and kind. She knew every resident by name which made our visit more inviting. She surely is an asset to Heritage Woods. The facility was clean along with the apartment we looked at and the common areas. The only downside was that the studio seemed a little small.

Since the first day I arrived everyone has been kind to me. The residents, the employees – EVERY ONE and I am so grateful.

This place is well kept and maintained, it’s clean, and the staff really seems to care about the people living there. They’re good about being available to help when you need it. The food appears to be decent and they have a few activities available that everyone can participate in if they want to. The other residents there seem to be really nice as well. I would absolutely recommend this place.

Safe place to live at, clean, and good environment. Good people here and staff treat you good.

I absolutely love it here at Gateway. There are lots of activities, food is good, most residents are real nice and easy to get along with. The staff is wonderful. I’m friends with many residents who are awesome. Definitely worth living here.

Heritage Woods of Dwight is such a beautiful place. The rooms are large. It is kept so nice. I have been to several of their events. I am always impressed by how hard the staff works to get the community involved with Heritage Woods. There is always something going on out there.

The staff and community were amazing. You could really feel the love. The residents looked happy and it was vibrant. Super helpful in trying to work out my needs. The actual place was a bit dated and worn, nothing fancy. Not everyone wants fancy though. The feel was great.

This facility has a very long waiting list and it took my brother 8 months to get in. I like that this place is close to me and that it is state run. I will be able to keep him here when his money runs out and they use your social security checks as payments. The facility is very well kept and the people who run it are good. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the nurses are nice. I do, however, occasionally run into one or two employees that aren't accustomed to working with older people. The food seems fine and they have a lot of activities to participate in. I would recommend this community to other families.

I am very happy and pleased with this facility so far. All of the staff members have been so helpful and very accommodating. I really like the director and she was amazing in getting my cousin set up and finalizing the paperwork. When I went to go move my cousin in, the facility didn’t have a one bedroom apartment that was unfurnished. Instead of having us look for a new place or downgrading to a studio, they offered us a one bedroom furnished apartment for no extra charge! From what my cousin has told me, the food is good and the staff is actually able to keep up with her when she goes on her walks. They do offer activities like field trips, an in-house beauty salon, and speech/physical therapy. I would recommend this facility to other families.

My parents are comfortable here and are happy. They are being fed well. They have a small workout room. There is a lot of daily activities they enjoy. The staff is very friendly. It is nice and clean. They have a nice little apartment that fits their needs. The only thing that has caused some frustrations was trying to get the sister company to coordinate between each other to make sure they had all the right paperwork. I Would recommend this community.

We liked the tour the staff was friendly. They answered all of our questions. It looked nice and clean. The only thing was they didn't have a memory care like we needed.

Everything’s going very well and my Mom is very happy here. It’s really close to my home, too, which is one of the reasons why I chose it. It’s a brand new facility and it’s beautiful inside. It’s very spacious, the hallways are long and wide, and there’s lots of room to visit so it’s like you have your own space even when other people are around. The staff is very, very good with her and they help her out a lot because she isn’t able to see. They’re just wonderful with her; they’re very friendly and very accommodating and I haven’t had one bad experience. If there are ever any issues or concerns, they always come directly to me. Even the doctor on staff will call me if they have questions. The food is good and she gets 3 full meals a day. They do different kinds of crafts and one of the activities they provide involves everyone sitting in a circle and kicking a ball back and forth. I know that they also have pool noodles that they use as a bat and they have bingo and a bowling kind of game. They have movie nights and the staff dresses up according to the movies that they show and it’s really nice. After speaking with the management staff, and taking a tour, they were really open to any questions that I had and what the facility was going to be like and what the layout of everything was. In the beginning, it was a difficult transition but everyone has been really accommodating from the very start. I absolutely would recommend them.

My mom has lived there for seven years now. The staff is excellent and responsive; I'd start to list them by name, but I would end up missing someone - they all really are fun, caring, great people. There are many activities, rides to local appointments, help completing paperwork, etc. The care Mom receives while she is still living independently is a blessing to me.

My mother moved in Cambridge a year ago. This place is wonderful. She feels safe and secure and loves the activities. The staff is very wonderful and they are all very caring towards each resident. The place is always very clean and the maintenance staff is top notch. Her only complaint is the food is not as good as it was when she first moved in, but it is still acceptable, just not as good. My only complaint is I wish they had more activities on the weekend. During the week Cambridge has a very nice variety of activities.

When we toured this community it was a pleasant experience. The director was so friendly and she answered all of our questions. The community wasn't a locked environment and with father-in-law he needed that with his memory issues. It was more independant living he needed a little more care. It was nice and clean it just didn't fit our needs.

This community really exceeds my expectations. I knew as soon as I walked in the door that this would be my home. Everyone here is absolutely phenomenal. It’s like a family here and you get to make great friends with everyone. At first, when I learned that there is assigned seating in the dining room I thought it was weird. I understand why they do it though. It makes it easier for you to meet new people and make friends. The staff is wonderful, personable, and friendly. [Removed], who is the maintenance man, is so helpful. I was trying to hang plates on the wall and was having a tough time but he came in and hung them up perfectly in 20 minutes. He even offered to hang my bird feeder and flag outside on my patio. All of the staff has a good sense of humor too. They get to know you really well and can tell when you don’t feel good. Even the cleaning lady is phenomenal. Once a week she comes in, strips the bed, cleans the apartment, and does my laundry. The wait staff is good and the chefs are excellent. They serve 3 meals a day and offer 2 options for each meal. I can even make special requests like asking for no gravy on my meatballs. They’re really good about doing that for you. Between meal times they have coffee, fresh baked cookies, and fruit set out for snacks. What I really like is every week the staff holds a food council meeting. They ask if we have any complaints or changes that we would like to see and they actually listen and take notes. Last week we had a complaint with how the food wasn’t very hot when we were served and this week the food is coming out a lot hotter. The facility is very, very clean but it doesn’t smell like cleaning products either. I really like the features this community has to offer. They have a wonderful library with computers and they have an aviary with finches in it. They do allow you to bring your cats and dogs with you as well. The whole building has Wi-Fi and every room has extended cable. I have a 3 bedroom apartment with a full sized kitchen. My bathroom is nice sized and it has plenty of storage. For activities, they offer memory classes, bingo, Wii bowling, exercise classes, 10 AM coffee socials, and at 2 PM they have game time. The other thing I really love is they staff provide me an emergency pendant so if anything happens; I know they will be there to assist me quickly. I would absolutely recommend this community.
