Franklin Park Senior Living

The staff are wonderful at Franklin Park. They greet you by name and make you feel right at home. They offer quite a few activities. The food is fantastic and they offer all kinds of choices. The community is clean and they offer housekeeping services. There is transportation available. I have a nice apartment with all the luxuries. I get more than I expected and I would recommend this community.

Just moved my mother-in-law into Franklin Park Sonterra. She loves her 1-bedroom apartment...it's open, sunlit, airy, and beautifully appointed. Both staff and residents have been friendly, helpful, and very welcoming. The food is both healthy and delicious, well-portioned, and provided in a fine-dining atmosphere. Mom says, "If you're lonely here, it's your own fault." She's still settling in and a bit nervous, but happier now than she's been in months.

The staff at this community are friendly, they helped when we moved in and answered our questions. The building is an excellent design and they keep it clean. The food tastes good and they offer a lot of good healthy choices. I would recommend this community.

My mom like it here. The community is very clean. My mom likes the food, they have a wide variety of food options. The staff is extremely friendly. The nurses, nurses aids and Admin staff all get to know each resident by first name.

What was really nice. It was on a Saturday when I visited, that a lady was there to bring her own mother in to view the community and have lunch. Both really liked it. They said 'We love it here! The food is so good. We're thankful to have found this place!'. It's really great to get that from someone when it's unsolicited. I wasn't really impressed with the exterior, but the interior was very neat. Of course, it was raining when I visited so that may have had something to do with it. It was very clean. It had a lot of potential.

Beautiful building. Nice apt with outdoor space. Washer and dryer in each apartment. Flexible hours in dining room. In the top 3.

We love this new home for our sister. Staff is fabulous and the rooms are a good size and in great condition. My sister felt at home immediately and is enjoying the interactions with the other residents and the activities which she just wasn't getting living on her own and wouldn't get living with working siblings. The food is great (the homemade rolls are worth the price of admission!) and the location is very convenient for us.

Overall our experience with Acadia has been a good one, my loved ones really seem to be enjoying themselves! It's a nice clean community, the staff are friendly, and they seem to have plenty of activities and amenities to keep their residents comfortable.

What we are looking for but not the traffic on 1604.

Tina and Joanne were wonderful and very helpful. The place was gorgeous and well cared for. The apartment was huge with beautiful flooring, new appliances, separate room for washer and dryer. Lots of storage space and designed to make the most of the space. The residents were all very friendly and welcoming.

Very pleasant surroundings. Food is terrific.Reasonable price compared to other with similar sized units.

I just think they should have a weekly social thing where you don't have to get on the bus or anything. Not necessarily a happy hour but something where someone comes in and plays music and residents can dance. They only do that once a quarter and I think it should be every week. Other than that I'm pretty happy with them. The food is not great - the rolls are good. For the price and assisted living I would definitely recommend Acadia.

Very nice, upscale, friendly people, lots of amenities. Assisted living would have to be used.

My husband and I (average age 87) visited Franklin Park Boerne twice and decided upon it as our likely choice of abode when we could no longer maintain lives in our older dwelling. He had a stroke in June 2019. Successful surgery to remove blood clot was followed by rehab, then home health care, re-hospitalization for possible Parkinson's side effects. We chose rehab in a nearby independent living facility. When Assisted living became necessary, we elected Franklin Park together. My daughter lives in Boerne. A dedicated staff in this caring community has assured our safety and well being, limited only by restrictions of Covid 19 pandemic.

It is obvious at The Avenues of Park Forest that the staff have hearts for seniors. From the administrative staff to the caregivers, I never worry if my parents needs are being met on a regular basis. They are upfront about expectations from the beginning, and receptive when I have any questions or concerns. I have looked at a lot of other communities and I believe this place is a hidden gem!

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. We ended up selecting another Franklin Park community that matched our loved ones care needs a bit better, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

We stopped by for a tour this week while my mom was in town visiting. We were very impressed with this beautiful community. My mother is not easily impressed but, had nothing but good things to say. The staff was very friendly. The tour was given by Tina & she was great. They have a real movie theater & a great game room. There was a happy hour going on with live entertainment, when we toured. The room was full of people that looked to be having a great time. My mother stated, If she decides to move to SA next year Franklin Park Sonterra will be her new home,

My mother is currently staying at this facility and really likes it. They have been very kind and helpful. They praise my mom on how well she is doing and she loves it. I would recommend this facility highly.

The facilities are clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. My parents moved from the Assisted side to Memory Care after about six months. My parents seem to like it there as much as they could considering the circumstances.

Staff is fantastic!!!!Price is a bit steep, but considering the area and quality of life at FP, worth every penny!!
