It's a beautiful place and the people are nice.

In the past four years I have been to 18 different facilities looking for places for my two sisters. Addolorata Villa has been the most outstanding of all of them because it was obvious to me that they cared about the person, not about the money that they would be getting. Other places talk big but do not deliver. Not so here. I have been really impressed with the intake people and process. They are number one in my book!

I would give Mount Alverna Village a very favorable rating. It has been a good fit for my mom - she is very religious woman and having the chapel with mass 5 times a week has been amazing. They also have a Franciscan nun that pays her visits and she is a very kind woman, they have developed a great friendship. The facility is very clean, but they are struggling with staffing shortages right now just like everyone else. All in all it has been a very good experience.

I sincerely believe that there is not any place where I would be happier living at this stage of my life than in this community - and I use the word community purposely because it is a real community of caring, helpful, and friendly staff and residents. I am most grateful that it is here for me.

Thus far I think they are doing a good job. She seems to be doing rather well. The staff is very friendly and caring. For the most part, they are taking good care of her. The biggest thing is help assist her at night and help her with her nightly routine. I've eaten there with her once and I thought the meal was very good. Mom thinks the food is good and that is the main activity here, the social time during meals They have some activities that mom has participated in. She really likes to play bridge and so far no one there plays. There is the daily mass for those interested. It;s very clean and warm and inviting. There is a patio courtyard and it is nicely landscaped. So far they are doing a good job she hasn't been there that long.

Franciscan Village was a nic e place., I had a good tour and everyone was very friendly. They answered all of my questions and showed me around the building, it was a good experience.

The care my father is getting great care at this community. He has not been there long, but is happy. the staff is giving great care and helping him settle in. The food is really good and he seems happy with the options. The grounds and his room in always clean. Activities are offered, but he has not participated yet.

It is a wonderful community with everything you would need included. Staff and caregivers are very welcoming and accommodating and take good care of my parents. They enjoy the sense of community. There is a lot of activities that residences are able to participate in.

Most of the staff were very good, kind and caring. The food was good and the premises were clean. They could use more staff.

The place is nice, but they need to improve on the intake process. Very slow at getting schedules worked out suck as laundry day, room cleaning schedule, took a week to get her first shower. Messed up the billing the second month. Now everything is going smoothly, but it took too long.

It has been a good experience & staff & neighbors are very nice. The staff is very helpful. Just call their No & the reception desk will connect you to Right person

Very responsive to questions and needs. Accommodate needs specific to each person. Liked that you don't have to move if you need more assistance at some point. Everything you need is in house ie- physician, physical therapy etc

Well run, great staff and amenities, very expensive for the room size.

Staff are generally responsive and accommodating. I chose Astral because they were the only facility that does outings with the dementia patients

My mom loves it there and we are so happy we moved her The residents and staff are so friendly and helpful. Facility is beautiful and kept up really well. Maintenance staff are quick when needed and very friendly. Apartments are a great size, they have high ceilings and a lot of closet space.

Beautiful facility. Staff is super friendly. Management knows all the residents. Even what an individual's likes and dislikes are.

Overall, it's been a pleasant experience, but the only thing they really have to improve on is the quality of their food. We really like that it's Catholic, because religion and having a relationship with God is important to our family.

Great floor plan choices . Facility doesn’t give feel of a nursing home when you first walk in. With being brand new there there were some hiccups but staff strives to overcome obstacles and learn from them.

The staff and administrators were very responsive to questions and concerns. I was able to attend all activities if I wanted to and sit with the group to listen to music or watch tv. They held care conferences and the whole family was welcome.

My mom needed to be in Memory Care which is where we put her. I visited her often. They had very little entertainment for those in Memory Care though. I realize that some of the people were deeper into their illness and didn't want to participate. My mother could have used a lot more attention and activities to make her stay more enjoyable. As it stands, she moved deeper and deeper into depression. She was only there from June to November. She fell on [date removed]and started going into hospitals and rehab until her death on [date removed]. The facility was clean. The food was often unidentifiable but probably nutritious. I felt like it was very understaffed. The rooms were a very nice size and the staff that I did interact with was very friendly. The overall security of my loved one was excellent. My mother was not able to wander off. It would have really been nice if they had an outdoor area that they could have wandered to though.
