Experience Senior Living

For the most part, I am pleased with Sancerre's building and staff. I am, however, very disappointed with the constant changes since it opened under Azur. Most of the staff is excellent with their attentions and helpfulness.

I have had a great experience here at Sancerre of Orange City. I have been here for two years after moving from another assisted living community. The residents, staff and management are wonderful! The staff are very friendly with the residents. I love gardening, attending the bible study, shopping trips and dining outings.

The facility is in very good shape, and well-maintained. Any issues that come up with the room are quickly resolved. The staff is pleasant and friendly, and does a great job helping to resolve any issues associated with care or medication and billing. The quality of the food could use some improvement and the temperature of the food. When it supposed to be warm isn't always warm. The walk in pool is a fantastic feature for people who like to swim, but cannot negotiate stairs or a ladder. The pool is always in pristine condition and offers a very pleasant area to visit.

We picked this community because, I felt it was a bright and cheery place. Very clean and pleasant people.For the most part a good place. Just have had some issues with keeping meds straight and a new billing system has had some issues.

The staff members in charge of activities here is outstanding! She encourages residents to participate in activities, many of which she organizes. Her attitude and approach is always upbeat, We are very fortunate to have her here

My mother has adapted well. Much better than we thought. We feel secure about the care she is getting.

I visited The Gallery at Cape Coral, which is brand new, and the closest to our house. It was the largest facility I visited, and it's very nice, but pricey, at about $1000 to $1500 more than my top four choices. People seemed to be out and around and happy there too. I could have loved it, except the price, but at the time I visited, they didn't have the licensing required to deal with things my mother-in-law was experiencing right then. Apparently, there are three levels of licensing, and they only had the basic level, although they were working on the second level, which was what the others I was interested in had. My mother in law had fractured her back, and at that time needed a back brace prescribed by a doctor, and the licensing they had prohibited them from dealing with that unless she could put it on herself, which she couldn't. She has since had a procedure, and no longer needs the brace.

What sticks out the most to me about The Springs of Parc Hill is the friendly staff. I would recommend the facility to others.

The staff is nice and helpful. I would recommend other families consider Heritage if they need assisted living.

The staff is friendly. The food wasn't bad in the beginning but they lost their chef, so my loved one is not happy with the food. They need a better cook. They keep my loved one busy with activites. It's a little expensive but for the location, it's easy for friends/family to visit, and for my loved one to get to their doctors appointments. I liked the newness of the facility. They under new management. Sometimes the communication with administration is not on point, especially with returning calls or providing urgent documentation. There is some challenges, and I am hoping we can resolve them soon.

My mom is really enjoying her time at The Gallery at North Port. The facility is clean, staff are accommodating and the meals are good. It is a very comfortable, nice place to be, especially since the facility is very "her".

The Gallery at North Port is an extremely beautiful facility. All of the staff could not have been more friendly during our tour experience. We just felt that it was more of a "party" atmosphere. It was very loud in there and it was bothering me, so we figured it would bother our loved ones.

The Gallery at North Port is a beautiful community, the cleanliness is awesome and the staff members are all very nice. However the could work to improve on their communication with the families but based on the experience we have had so far we would recommend them to others.

I would imagine that most of these facilities are having problems attracting qualified staff which is really the only issue that we are experiencing.

I had a pretty good tour experience with Heritage Crossing. The reason I did not choose this facility was because I am a maintenance guy and I could tell it was not kept up as well as another place I was looking into. It is also not as new though.

We chose Walnut Crossing because of the location of the room in the facility, my loved one has a hard time getting around and it was very close to the activity room. It is a very bright and cheery atmosphere and there are a lot of activities provided. I would absolutely recommend the facility to others.

We do a lot of arts and crafts here which I thoroughly enjoy, and we also have themed parties/activities. We helped hide Easter eggs for the families that have kids so they can do an Easter egg hunt here. The chef here is wonderful, we have great quality meals, nice portions and a great variety to choose from. We just had our Easter buffet which was good and based on my experience I would recommend this community to others

When we speak to our loved ones there, they are absolutely loving the meals and dining service. They have great activities, they are having so much fun keeping busy. They could improve more with the laundry maintenance, house keeping and basic needs. Other than that everyone is very friendly, and getting good care.

I really liked it here. Everything was very new. It was very clean. The food looked good, with lots of options to choose from. The rooms and the facility in general as well as the grounds were all a 5/5. The activities looked good. Everything was pretty much a 5/5, except this was probably the most expensive place that we looked at.
