Experience Senior Living

Generally experience is very good and is improving. There are areas that need improvements, but they are being addressed. Staff is cordial and professional.

My loved one is currently a resident at Heritage Crossing and everything has been great for him at this facility so far. The move in process was good and went very smooth. The staff is great and are always very friendly. The meals are good. Communication with the family is very good. The cleanliness, care services, activities and value for cost are also very good. I would recommend Heritage Crossing to anyone.

My mom loved living at Walnut Crossing. So many fun things going on and she has a lot of friends here. Such a welcoming home, that makes everyone feel like family.

So far it's been pretty good. We picked this community because of the price and location plus they have a memory care unit. I would recommend to others.

My loved one is currently a resident at Walnut Crossing and overall things have been very good at this facility. The move in process was a breeze. The staff is wonderful. The housekeeping is okay. Communication with the family/me is great. The meals are just average. I would recommend Walnut Crossing to others. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have better staffing on the weekends and during the night.

When we moved in we were told of things we would do. I am disappointed with only one vehicle transportation to outings are not what we expected - sharing with the other ass. living etc. Also the activities here are not what we expected. No Bible study and outings to the beach. The turn over of staff has been steady. We get used to someone then they are gone.

I enjoy all of the activities, both outside and inside the community, especially the excursions with the activities team like dining outings and local theatre productions. I love how they recognize birthdays at the monthly birthday bash. I love the friendliness of the residents that call Sancerre home.

Upon entering the beautiful community, it is quite new and beautifully decorated, greeted with smiles from the director and the receptionist. It was important to me that I needed to be here at this time in my life, and it was very important that I had family near by. I was 90 my first time in assisted living. It was an excellent activity program that attracted me to the building. The art projects that help us tap into our hidden talents. While I'm very mobile I appreciate the opportunity for those to have help that need it!

For the most part, I am pleased with Sancerre's building and staff. I am, however, very disappointed with the constant changes since it opened under Azur. Most of the staff is excellent with their attentions and helpfulness.

I have had a great experience here at Sancerre of Orange City. I have been here for two years after moving from another assisted living community. The residents, staff and management are wonderful! The staff are very friendly with the residents. I love gardening, attending the bible study, shopping trips and dining outings.

The facility is in very good shape, and well-maintained. Any issues that come up with the room are quickly resolved. The staff is pleasant and friendly, and does a great job helping to resolve any issues associated with care or medication and billing. The quality of the food could use some improvement and the temperature of the food. When it supposed to be warm isn't always warm. The walk in pool is a fantastic feature for people who like to swim, but cannot negotiate stairs or a ladder. The pool is always in pristine condition and offers a very pleasant area to visit.

We picked this community because, I felt it was a bright and cheery place. Very clean and pleasant people.For the most part a good place. Just have had some issues with keeping meds straight and a new billing system has had some issues.

The staff members in charge of activities here is outstanding! She encourages residents to participate in activities, many of which she organizes. Her attitude and approach is always upbeat, We are very fortunate to have her here

My mother has adapted well. Much better than we thought. We feel secure about the care she is getting.

I visited The Gallery at Cape Coral, which is brand new, and the closest to our house. It was the largest facility I visited, and it's very nice, but pricey, at about $1000 to $1500 more than my top four choices. People seemed to be out and around and happy there too. I could have loved it, except the price, but at the time I visited, they didn't have the licensing required to deal with things my mother-in-law was experiencing right then. Apparently, there are three levels of licensing, and they only had the basic level, although they were working on the second level, which was what the others I was interested in had. My mother in law had fractured her back, and at that time needed a back brace prescribed by a doctor, and the licensing they had prohibited them from dealing with that unless she could put it on herself, which she couldn't. She has since had a procedure, and no longer needs the brace.

What sticks out the most to me about The Springs of Parc Hill is the friendly staff. I would recommend the facility to others.

The staff is nice and helpful. I would recommend other families consider Heritage if they need assisted living.

The staff is friendly. The food wasn't bad in the beginning but they lost their chef, so my loved one is not happy with the food. They need a better cook. They keep my loved one busy with activites. It's a little expensive but for the location, it's easy for friends/family to visit, and for my loved one to get to their doctors appointments. I liked the newness of the facility. They under new management. Sometimes the communication with administration is not on point, especially with returning calls or providing urgent documentation. There is some challenges, and I am hoping we can resolve them soon.

My mom is really enjoying her time at The Gallery at North Port. The facility is clean, staff are accommodating and the meals are good. It is a very comfortable, nice place to be, especially since the facility is very "her".
