We do a lot of arts and crafts here which I thoroughly enjoy, and we also have themed parties/activities. We helped hide Easter eggs for the families that have kids so they can do an Easter egg hunt here. The chef here is wonderful, we have great quality meals, nice portions and a great variety to choose from. We just had our Easter buffet which was good and based on my experience I would recommend this community to others

When we speak to our loved ones there, they are absolutely loving the meals and dining service. They have great activities, they are having so much fun keeping busy. They could improve more with the laundry maintenance, house keeping and basic needs. Other than that everyone is very friendly, and getting good care.

I really liked it here. Everything was very new. It was very clean. The food looked good, with lots of options to choose from. The rooms and the facility in general as well as the grounds were all a 5/5. The activities looked good. Everything was pretty much a 5/5, except this was probably the most expensive place that we looked at.

It is a good place in quality to care for your loved one. Very good decision my father is happy and we are too. They also provide great care.

I am very happy living here. I have only one comment. Since they are in the process of adding a new area to the community. I suggest that a nursing area be added. This will add the reason to become a resident.

I have lived at another in this community an find this better! The previous one I lost several item to theft. Staff here very friendly as well as helpful.

We had a great tour with The Waters, the facility and staff were all very nice but it was just too pricey.

Overall this is a good place. The staff are good. There has been a little bit of a turn over. They have taken my loved one on field trips to winery's and just trips to ride around. They also had a labor day picnic that the family was invited to and that was nice for us.

Newer and very nice. Staff was new. Director a month, head of nursing 3 weeks. Lots of staffing changes. Didn’t feel like the staff had a relationship with the residents

I would tell others to check it out. The new people and the staff answers all my questions. They try and respond in twenty-four hours. The community is very clean. They are pretty friendly to the families.

Demaree Crossings is worth checking out. It has a nice homey atmosphere. They offer a lot of floor plans. My mom has a two-bedroom unit and it is very spacious. The food is good. They have outdoor space for the residents to use.

I've finally found a place where there are people similar to me.

Being a new facility, Demaree is working to find a routine. We have experienced some hiccups, but I will say that they provide an opportunity for the residents to be heard (resident council) as well as a forum to discuss the quality of food services. Our resident currently has no additional help on a regular basis. We did have a weekend where some additional assistance was needed and Demaree came through for us. They have a great driver and often have road trips for fun as well as regular trips to the nearby shopping centers. There are lots of activities scheduled; that part depends on your family member’s interest. We’ve been there for 5 months. The resident count is slowly going up and the day to day schedule is finding it’s own “level”.

It’s a bit of a leap of faith to choose a brand new facility. The AL side had nice size apartments. We did a lunch there and the food was tasty and the chef was receptive to comments! We hope the activities are good- we did meet the director for that. The Memory Care side is also well-appointed and seems to really cater to those specific needs. [name removed] anticipates that need bas d on her siblings, so,that part played a role in her decision making too.

She was there in December and I thought it was nice that they had people coming in to play music on the piano. Their person nurses there that I thought were beyond fantastic. I felt like night there was a little bit of a staffing issue as there were some folks there who were very needy, including my mom. Mom had a private room and that worked out well. It was a little odd having people coming in and out of her room. Not much can be done about that, but I can see where that could be concerning to an elderly person. I imagine that facility is like other facilities when it comes to the door locked, and the staffing issue at night. Ideally, you would hope people sleep at night but with the clientele, there's a lot of people up shuffling around at night

Since my mom has moved to memory care, I am not happy with her care. Although the food is great. They need more compassion for the patients -I just don't feel they are getting the care they need for what we are paying.

The nursing staff is absolutely wonderful as far as attentiveness to my parents. They can be difficult to reach via phone. The administrative portion of their facility is poor. My father has been out of facility since New Years Day and i wanted to make sure they wont be charged for his care. No call back. Then the tenant above my parents had a flood and it came thru my patents ceiling. No call back after several phone calls and leaving messages at the front desk from anyone on the game plan on how it will be fixed. The maintenance director will never return calls. The whole clerical aspect stinks but the care is great. Meals are included in their rent but They charge $[remove] for each tray ( breakfast, lunch and dinner) to be delivered to the room to my mom, who is afraid to go to dining room by herself. To go items are $[removed] per meal. The $[removed] monthly fee should cover those things.

The staff who worked w the patients were wonderful. They were loving and caring. The facility is really nice and cozy. They do a great job decorating for the holidays and making it look homey. The reason I gave a 3 for cleanliness is bc there was always a smell especially down the halls were residence lived. But the facility itself was clean, and the community spaces were clean. The facility went thru several chefs while my parents were there. The food was one of the biggest complaints. It was bland and not a great variety. The last chef they had before my parents left did a great job. We were told he was fired. There was also constant turn over w the admin staff. The billing was inconsistent and not responsive To my sister who paid their bills. The entire admin staff has turned over in the 8 months my parents were there

Just in case you are looking to place a client in their Memory Care, I would urge to rethink it. The memory care is total chaos...too many residents with little staff to handle them. based on the care and the top level admin staff I wouldn't give a penny of my money to that place

The facility in general is very nice and well kept. I will say I think the rooms in the memory care could be cleaned more often. The staff is very friendly, but you do need to talk with them to go over exactly what you're wanting from them when it comes to the care of your family member. It took a few months of going back and forth with the staff before we were content on the care my grandpa was receiving. They also do a great job of posting on their Facebook page showing the activities and different things they do and I often see my grandpa on there exercising or doing creative stuff and that's really nice to see.
