I was so nervous about coming here but my family went on and on about it. one of the first people that I met was [name removed]. she sang to me and I knew that this was the right place. The maintenance man is so helpful and helped me hang all of my pictures twice. Now my room feels like home. The staff is wonderful and sister always comes and sees me before she leaves. The food is great!

The staff is very nice. I love our administrator. Thank you.

Food service and diet food available is a huge part of elderly fitness and care. My option food and care is outstanding. They listen!

My mother and I took a tour as she is wanting to transition to an Assisted Living Facility. The tour was great. The staff is very friendly. Many of the residents came up to us and engaged in conversation and shared how much they enjoyed living there. This facility was the best by far of 10 in the area that we toured. This will definitely be the place mom will be going too.

I was visiting a friend who took me to visit her mother in this Assisted Living Facility. Upon entering everything was very clean and organized. We were greeted by smiling and friendly staff and even the Administrator. They greeted my friend by name so there was a feeling of family. My friends mother was excited to see us but most of all she was happy, clean, and really loved her caregivers. She said she stays busy doing something or another all the time. This a place that I would move to TX should I need to place a love one of my own. 5 Stars all the way!!!!

The staff at Newhaven Assisted Living-Bastrop is a center I highly recommend. The Administor, [name removed] has been awesome. She is very helpful with anything we ask. If she doesnt have the answer, she finds it. With Covid19 being the new normal, she has kept her residents healthy, active and engaged. My father has been living here for almost 2yrs. The staff is exceptional in the care they give.

This place is wonderful and the staff is awesome. It is always difficult to put your loved ones in a place where they give up their independence. However, [name removed] and her team make it easy. My mother is well taken care of and they adjust to her not the other way around. They are quick to recognize medical problems and always caution on the side of being safe. The facility is immaculate. During this time of COVID they have made the best of what limitations they have to work with as far as family interaction. Would highly recommend this facility for anyone needing assisted living.

The staff really do care. You do have to remind them of the care plan but they do get it done. They do have a high staff turnover but we just need to keep reminding the new staff of our mom's care plan and it is fine. The food is excellent and they offer a variety. The care has been wonderful and they staff are very attentive to her needs. I would definitely recommend this community to other families.

The facility takes great effort to make sure my mother is well taken care of in all areas: personal hygiene, health matters, recreation, and the outstanding food that is served. Medical and pharmaceutical treatment is taken care of in the house. They have been so careful during this pandemic and offer zoom meetings so we can stay in touch. New Haven is a wonderful facility and my mother is very happy there.

My Mom has been at New Haven since it opened. It’s a pretty, homey environment. They do a great job and if anything is wrong they do strive to make it right. I highly recommend it.

I feel this is the best place I could have found for Mom. The folks here are attentive and caring. The administrator keeps the family advised on a regular basis with informative communication. All are very professional and are doing an incredible job during this pandemic. A+ from me!!

I am a Home Health Nurse that has several communities (ALF, memory care) that I go in to see residents. I have been seeing residents in this community since it has been open. This facility always has been clean, smells good, and the staff is great, so warm and helpful. This facility is like a home. Oh yes, and the food smells so good.

I'm very happy with New Haven. The caregivers in memory care are wonderful! Mother seems as happy as possible considering her dementia. I appreciate how they all help take care of her cat! I don't know what she would do w/o [name rmeoved]! I haven't met [name removed] yet but she sounds great. Any improvement on [name removed] is appreciated!

Very clean. Well layed out. I like that this has a smaller capacity. People are very friendly and useful.

We moved my 95-year-old mother into New Haven. This facility is very nice, rooms are attractive. The staff communicates well with us. Food is excellent, chef-prepared.

I have been working as a nurse practitioner in assisted living communities for over 3 years. New Haven has a feeling of home and "family love" displayed by staff to the residents. The residents are always groomed and appear happy. The facility is clean and works as a team with outside entities to provide exceptional care. I do visit facilities which I can't recommend to families seeking placement but New haven is a facility I do recommend.
