It was a blessing to move my mom to Autumn Leaves. She became very secluded in her former home and Autumn Leaves opened her life to continual engagement, activities, fun, delicious meals and the support she needed. My family and 4 children loved visiting their Grandma and were always welcome to join the activities. It made our visits fun and lifted our spirits knowing that she was in a wonderful inclusive community. The staff gave us so much TLC and it is exactly what we all needed.

My Mother has been at Harbor Chase for approximately five years. During that time she has established Harbor Chase as her home. She truly believes that the staff are close friends and even family members. I live in Florida my brother who lived in Oakland Township near Harbor Chase recently pass away. I visited Harbor Chase with the intention of making arrangements to move my mother to Florida where she would be closer to me. [Name removed] from Harbor Chase made the arrangements to have the handicapped access van available and made appointments at the Secretary of State and the bank. The van developed mechanical problems. [Name removed] had a fellow employee drive her personal SUV that could accommodate my mother. [Name removed] and two other employees put my Mother in the SUV and came along to assure my Mother could get in and out of the bank and back to Harbor Chase. They dedicated three people several hours to help my Mother. After seeing the difficulty my Mother had just going to the Bank the Harbor Chase team and I decided that the move to Florida was beyond my Mothers capability. We asked my Mother if given the opportunity to stay at Harbor Chase or moved to Florida to be near me which did she really want to do. My Mother very quickly answered stay at Harbor Chase with her family.

Caring, loving, friendly are just a few words to describe the wonderful staff at Autumn Leaves South Barrington. A few months ago, our family was faced with the decision of selecting a home for both mom and dad. Dad suffers from Dementia and mom has Parkinson’s and needs more physical assistance. From the moment we entered this facility, we felt we had definitely found the right care for our parents. I can’t say enough good things about Autumn Leaves. I was worried at first about the very different levels of care required for both parents and felt we really had a unique and potentially difficult situation; however, I was immediately put at ease as I witnessed the daily attention given specifically to mom and dad. The caregivers are so gentle and are trained specifically to aid residents living with Dementia and are quick in demonstrating this. From the Director to nurses and caregivers, all are extremely hands on and quickly become family to each resident as well as their families. My mom’s physical requirements are equally met (she’s basically wheelchair bound) as the staff works diligently to be proactive instead of reactive eliminating the risk for falls. Again, I cannot say enough wonderful things about my parents’ new “home”. If you’re looking for a family atmosphere for your loved one with lots of events, music, great food, homemade baked goods and smiles while tending to every need, this is the place for you! You will not be disappointed!

These negative reviews were written by a disgruntled ex- employee who was fired. I know this ex-employee wrote at least three of these reviews. Caldwell house is very nice. The girls try their very hardest and so do the nurses. There has never been rats there, the employees don't leave the residents alone in the dining room and the nurses help the residents right away when they are not feeling well. We love the residents like they are family, every facility goes thru changes and seasons but these negative reviews were just not true.

I had to find my mom a place to live last minute due to her having a fall and needing extra care . It has been an extremely stressful position for us all especially my father. We set up a tour on a Saturday. We were greeted at the door with a smile. We took a walk around and could instantly feel the family like feeling. Mom was able to interact with the residents while we went over the basics. Everyone was very kind and empathetic. Mom has lived in the facility for the past few weeks and couldn't be happier. Thank you Bickford for all you do!

From the very first telephone conversation, I got a great "vibe" from Autumn Leaves. I subsequently visited them, as well as three other facilities and was very impressed; my sense was confirmed. Indeed, all of the places were nice and three of them "rose to the top," but Autumn Leaves edged out the others. I was impressed with their approach to medications, outside services and in-house activities. The facility is spotless and caregivers are friendly and helpful. I am confident that I mad the right choice. [Removed]

My mom has been at Parkside for several months now. Best things about Parkside: 1. The staff are understanding, patient and really seem to like my mom, which is hard sometimes. 2. The food is great and as that's a high point of my mom's life it's a plus. 3. It's a pretty facility with emphasis on caring for the residents. My mom seems happy as it's possible for her to be in her condition. I love the staff there.

We had a very good experience with the Marketing and Welcome staff. The move in went very well because of the helpfulness of the staff. Unfortunately, Mom's health was not good and she was only able to stay at Fox Point for a week. The business manager was very accommodating and provided us with some financial relief because of our short stay. I would recommend Fox Point to others in the family. I only wish Mom could have enjoyed all that they have to offer.

We have a loved one who is residing at Seneca House in Tiffin, OH and are very pleased with the staff and ammenities offered to him. The meals that they serve are excellent and home-cooked. The rooms are adequate and very clean. Seneca House offers an enclosed patio, which is very appealing with outdoor seating and with a perfect ambiance. The front porch offers comfortable seating with a scenic view. They offer numerous activities that appeal to the residents. We can't comment enough on the loving staff and the attention that they give to the individuals. We highly recommend Seneca House as a place for your loved ones.

I have no complaints about the tour I had received at this community. Everyone was really nice and in fact this is the place I initially wanted my mother to go. They had everything we would have needed but when I spoke with the gentleman about placing her he was very slow and dragged his feet on everything. I just did not have the time to waist on getting her into a place so I ended up finding another facility for her to go to.

The Autumn Leaves was our second choice. It was very clean and they had a lot of activities. We really liked the director. He gave us a lot of advice and good direction. He told us what to look for not only in his community but also in others we were touring. We liked how we could see a lot of caregivers clearly interacting very well with the residents.

The Parkside Manor has been a great move for my mother. The place is always clean and tidy. The room she is in is comfortable and also always maintained very clean. When my mother first moved in, she told me the meals were good and hasn't had any complaints since then. Every time I visit, the place has a clean smell to it. The community offers a variety of activities such as watercolor painting, shows, and games. My one complaint is how strict they are with their seating arrangements. Other than that I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

This community is in the middle of nowhere. When you look out the windows all you can see are fields and trees. It has as much or more to offer than the community we chose. The person we met during our tour was nice and helpful. This community was a little larger than what we were looking for.

My mother feels safe and secure at Harbor Chase. She loves the staff and feels loved back. The layout of each building, a quadrangle around a center courtyard, is excellent. It allows residents to get lots of exercise while never getting lost. The staff are so kind. I feel confident that my mother is in good hands at Harbor Chase of Auburn Hills.

The Parkside community has a great move for me. The staff here is wonderful, by the end of my first day as I walked down the hallway, everyone was already calling me by my first name. The community has occasional meetings where residents can speak up about any changes they would like to happen. When I first arrived, the food was not that great. After speaking up about the situation the community was quick to try and fix the problem. The community offers a variety of activities such as Puzzels, bingo, and hour long exercise programs. The room I am in is comfortable, it's one bedroom and a den with my own bathroom. I am very happy here and would recommend this complex to anyone looking.

Great memory care, might be a little more expensive than others, but if you take a tour, I guarantee you'll be impressed. If your senior can afford something about $6000-7000, you WON'T be disappointed. Just a few things I found impressive: INTERNAL courtyards in each wing where the "outside" people can sit for a while or bask in the sun with an attendant when needed, cathedral ceilings and a layout where they can walk around and get some exercise without being crammed into some small wing of a building, wonderful large rooms equipped with full large accessible bathrooms with showers. No shared rooms unless two WANT to be roommates or you're housing two friends together. 24 hour staff on call. Locked entrance with attendant and they don't have to wear Wander guard bracelets either. Really NICE place!

My Mother moved in on opening day to the greatest care givers you can imagine. So friendly and helpful. Everything has been just wonderful. It is such a relief to know she is safe and well taken care of. She loves the gourmet meals and not having to eat alone anymore. Thank you Hartland Place.

She's been really happy there. We haven't had any concerns. It's a bit different of an environment than we have been used to, but so far it's been going pretty well. No major maintenance issues, the staff has been friendly. I don't think anyone is perfect, but I would give them a four and a half.

I think they do an excellent job overall at Parkside Manor, I really can't say enough good things about them! The place is beautiful, the staff is friendly, and the food is delicious! It's a little far from my family, but it's been worth the extra travel time! My one complaint would be that I think they could use another CNA or two on staff, but otherwise things have been wonderful!

The care teams are so friendly and caring for the residents. Each time they see a resident, even walking through the hall they say "Hi, [firstname]." They are well equipped to handle the challenges of transition for your loved one...even when challenges arise weeks after arrival. The relative size of each cottage makes it easier for your loved one to walk around, meet and bond with others. It's not so overwhelming in size.
