I like the fact that my mom has a single room to herself. The staff are friendly and helpful, they care about the residents.

We were impressed with them. They were clean and the staff was friendly. It was a lovely facility. It came down to just finding a community that better fit our loved ones' personality.

So far, we have had a great experience here! The staff are all really helpful and really nice! The staff really prompt my loved one to participate in the activities! She gets up and moves around, which is good for her! Also, I think that, for what they're doing for her, the price is good as well! We're very happy so far!

My sister and I saw this first we where very impressed not only with the staff but the layout of the home. It did set the bar high for the rest of our tours. This may very well be our choice.

Very clean place with friendly staff! They offer numerous services and activities which are included in the monthly rent, whereas other places in Madison charged extra. Their monthly rent is also hundreds less than other places I checked out in Madison.

I have resided at Bellevue Retirement Community since December 2009, anf I want to say that since SLC took over and Jeanne arrived in November as the new executive director, the changes have been many and all for the better. Success of an operation is as good as the people who serve it. Keep up the good work!

This place is very nice! They seem to be doing very well. They are not really the easiest to get ahold of, and most of the time, we reach the answering machine.. but we know that they are busy with other residents. Right now, the location is not ideal, but they are planning on opening a new location closer to home. The food is not restaurant quality, and it's not restaurant style, but it seems okay.

Countryside Manor is a great place for our mom. Everyone is friendly and helpful in trying to get us adjusted to the move. Mom still wants to go home with us, but staff helps us with this. Response from A Place For Mom was outstanding. Within 30 seconds I had a call from them. By the end of the day we had a new home for mom. Everyone at A Place For Mom was very helpful. At a time when I didn't know what to do, they really came through. Thanks to all.

Great place, outstanding new management. Our father is liking this place much more than any of us had anticipated, as he said he would never ever go to "a home." He even has a social life here, which he didn't really when he was living alone in a big house that required maintenance. New manager Jeanie knows the residents by name and has made some nice changes.

We feel good having Dad here at Bellevue, because he genuinely seems happy here, and that is something we did not expect. He always said he'd never go into a home but after his stroke, we really had no choice. He's got friends and a bit of a social life here, and his life really isn't that much different from the way it was before. Food's good, too. New director Jeanne seems to be very helpful and caring, and she actually knows residents by name. We're happy we went with Bellevue.

The tour of Autumn Leaves was more than we expected to receive. The staff was wonderful and we knew that it was someplace that we would feel alright with leaving my dad there for day care. My sister summed it up when we got back into the car...'it was such good energy that I felt'. We were given the information needed to start the process of having Dad stay there, as well as, information about Alzheimer's itself. My mom is still coming to grips with the fact that she will be turning over the care of my dad to someone else, even for the day. I think that this visit really eased her anxiety about the situation. Thank you again and we are looking forward to seeing you all after the first of the year.

I can't say enough about how wonderful Robin and all the care givers we encountered at Coventry were. We had a situation come up where we needed to move my Mom quickly - the people at Coventry were incredible to work with and did everything they could to make it comfortable and welcoming for my Mom and as easy as possible for me. It took a little work to get medications under control, but that was the only wrinkle and they worked with me to get it taken care of.

After deciding to move Dad to a facility that would give him QUALITY care, i checked into Harbor Chase. Since Dad has hostility issues due to Alzheimer's I didn't have much hope that anyone would accept him. After speaking to Ida I were pleasantly pleased to realize I found one. Couldn't be happier with my choice. God bless all the "angels" that work there!

My husband moved into Coventry on October 1st. The entire process from initial interviews to placing him in their care has been very positive. While he's only been there three days, I have found the entire staff to be friendly, helpful, courteous, and very focused on making this transition as simple as possible. It's too early to determine if he will adjust in a positive way, but I believe the staff will do everything possible to make him happy and comfortable. It appears they may be under-staffed. Time will tell.

The place is great and the workers are friendly and everyone wants to work with you. I would very much recommend Parkside Assisted Living to people.

It's perfect for my mother. She's having a great time. Right now she isn't receiving and care. The meals are wonderful as well. The activites - there is a lot of stuff to choose from and to do and my mother just jumped right in. They have several outings and things a week. She can go grocery shopping with a group. They have wii bowling leagues, a knitting club, swimming and a lot of brian power type activities so that you're challenged to think more and exercise your brain. They were very helpful with the move and explaining how things work. It was a really good experience.

Very nice, calm like a home setting. Not overly bright though. Studio apartments open and comfy but not overly large. Friendly leasing agent who took the time to get to know things about my dad and his former hobbies/pasttimes/likes and dislikes. Other residents friendly and outgoing. I will be going back with dad for a visit. *of special note, Rebecca Nagey, the leasing agent, was kind enough to take a dinner over to my dad's house because she was going to be in the area. Very nice and unexpected.

We were seeking a homelike approach to memory care which was person centered and offered a lot of individualized care. From the moment you walk into the memory care community at Coventry of Mahtomedi, it feels like home. The 16 apartments per floor are arranged around a central kitchen/dining/activity/TV area that is well decorated, and spacious, with windows letting the outdoors in. The attendants were engaged with the community members and the atmosphere was cheerful. All the staff we met in the condensed (less than 10 days) intake process were professional, knowledgeable, nice and delivered great customer service. They went to great lengths to accommodate our busy schedules and the urgency of getting mom moved as soon as possible. Her new 1 bedroom apartment is smallish, but it is nicely laid out and more than meets her needs. We moved her in late in the day and throughout the process the Coventry staff were available and stayed at work late to ensure a smooth transition for her. When I went back the next morning to visit her, she said "I love it here!" She has only been there for 48 hours, but the return of her smile which had disappeared at her previous placement is evidence that this is a good fit for her. That is the best part of all.

Bellevue is a really good community when it comes to assisted living and independent living I have not seen any that are better. Their staff is friendly and the community is just fantastic. The food is fantastic. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for assisted living and independent living community.
