After interviewing four Memory Care facilities in our area, we found the “perfect” home for our Mom at Revere Court of South Barrington. We were welcomed and provided with a very thorough presentation of the quality of care, many services and personal attention that Revere Court provides for each resident. The entire staff is friendly and goes out of their way to build personal relationships with each resident. Our primary objective was to find an environment that would keep our Mom active, engaged, and feel part of a family. She no longer feels like the “new kid on the block.” Revere Court is beautifully decorated from each resident’s personal living space to the various recreational areas. Communication is key and Revere Court does an awesome job of keeping family members informed with important updates. Most importantly, Mom is being well taken care of, having fun and receiving the best quality of life that Revere Court can provide.

My husband has been a resident for a year. The staff check on him regularly, treat him with respect and find ways to engage him socially. The atmosphere and food are like a five star hotel.

Both parents are residing there. Place is always clean. Food is a great variety. Workers are all very pleasant. Plenty of activities and great caretakers when needed.

Excellent communication from caregivers and administrators. Administrators know the residents and participate in their care and lie. Very clean. Staff is always available. Lots of activities.

We chose Revere Court of Crystal Lake because it is a small facility and it is primarily for memory care residents which leads to more personalized care. The room sizes are more spacious than some others that we looked into. They do have shared and private rooms available. I would absolutely recommend to others looking and already have.

Everyone has been very caring and helpful, the care givers were fantastic. From the sales employees to the administrative staff, the receptionist and the therapist were all fantastic, especially the nurse assistants and aids. We did not have any problems with anyone, it was a good experience with a fair price.

I think they're great. It's a very nice community located in the wood. That's what attracted us to it was all the nature around, the deer and the animals. and the overall fact that there are four cottages, all on the first floor. So residents aren't stacked on tope of each other like at other facilities. They offer quite a bit that other communities don't. They have an actual nurse on staff. They also have doctors who come in and have visits with patients on-site, including for memory care. They have a salon where you can get your hair and nails done. There's also a dentist that comes in once a month. So they have a variety of in-house things that attracted us to them. It's a great value. The staff is very nice. They do puzzles and different things, but I would like to see a bigger variety of activities, especially for more mobile residents. But I'm sure Covid is playing a part in that with limited outings. They have a bus, but it hasn't gone out since we've been there. It is an assisited living facility, so there might be the occasional smell here and there. I feel like that's the case anywhere you go, but overall they keep things clean. And I would highly recommend them. It's a really nice facility.

We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience at Kenosha Place. The lovely atmosphere is definitely stand-out, and I really feel good about my father being there because of the staff. They’ve reached out to see if we have questions as he’s getting settled, and have been incredibly helpful. Other residents I’ve met there, along with the activities and events make this a top choice, and help keep my dad engaged and cared for.

[name removed] did a wonderful job of explaining and answering all of our questions. She showed much empathy for our situation. We appreciated her thoughts and suggestions. We had the opportunity to see a room of a couple just moving in which helped understand the transition process. Everyone on staff we met was very friendly. Our overall experience was very good and we were impressed. We can tell this community is very family oriented.

The community makes me feel that my loved one is very safe. The staff is very friendly and the community is kept neat and clean. The food is good but can sometimes take a long time to be served and they have activities but communication needs to be better about what and when things are going on. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

The compassion of each staff member to residents and their families is truly genuine as is their caring. Still the absolute best community in the area! They are my personal heroes!

This facility is very organized, thorough, and caring. All of the staff are professional and knowledgeable. There are daily activities to keep the resident's needs and bodies active. Communication was phenomenal. I feel so good about my mom being here and would recommend it.

The staff are just wonderful with the residents. There are all kinds of activities to to keep the residents engaged.

Best staff and care for my dad ever!

Our mother recently moved into the Randall Residence. The staff was very helpful in making the transition a positive experience. Everyone was caring and treated us with warmth and kindness. During the registration process leading up to my mother’s move, [names removed] were super helpful and made this difficult transition very easy for us. Our family is happy that we chose Randall knowing that our mother is receiving excellent care. Kudo's to the entire staff.

My mother has lived in the memory care community for more than 5 years. Choosing it was one of the best decisions we ever made. The staff at Revere Court is excellent. They are very caring and patient. My mother has received excellent care. The facility has done an excellent job of keeping residents safe and connected with their loved ones during the pandemic.

My father has lived at Revere Court for over 6 years and I can't say enough good things about that decision. The staff is amazing and enriching on a daily basis. We love the community and so blessed they care for our loved ones in our absence.

The staff at Revere Court of Crystal Lake are loving and caring. They take special care to give my mom individualized care and attention.

Our family had an unexpected need for help for a favorite uncle, and those of us who could help lived on the West coast. We called several places in McHenry, including Randall Residence, while our uncle was in the hospital. We needed to have everything ready for him so he could be transferred to rehab and then to assisted living. Our first contact was with the front desk, who referred to the Director of Sales & Marketing. The director was better than we ever could have expected. It was like speaking to a good friend or a friendly neighbor. She sent us the information the same day, and spoke with us several times before we arrived. When we took the tour, it was like meeting up with an old friend. Our uncle was given the same tour a few days later so he could choose where he wanted to be. The concierge, medical rep and maintenance man were all so very helpful, and made our Uncle feel welcome and comfortable. The day we moved him, each person who would be treating him visited.
